These two chairs are in very nice condition for their age as represented with multiple pictures. The chairs are both tight and sturdy with strong, tight rush bottom seats that were probably replaced in the latter 20th century. The chairs each stand 38 inches tall to the top of the back and measure 21 1/2 inches wide by 22 inches front to back. The seats are 15 inches in height and are 20 1/2 inches wide by 18 1/2 inches, front to back. The back rest and across front of the seats on the chairs are beautifully carved and appear to have hand turned stretchers. These chairs appear to be made of walnut, with rush bottom seats. Condition: Used Location: Middleburg, United States This is a table and 2 chairs Solid Kumfort set by Louis Rastetter& Sons circa 1927. It is all original with no touch up to the paint or leather(vinyl) ... moretable top or seats. There is a good deal of paint loss all over. Some places much more then others. I have taken pictures of the damage to this set. There are places of cracking in the veneer wood on the chairs, and the corners of the table where the bent wood is coming away from itself. The table is sturdy. Though I wouldn't put anything very heavy on it. The the legs and metal fold out tracks are in good solid condition(though they stick a little when you fold them in and out) The chairs are solid also, and can be sat on. Both chairs are labeled, though one is mostly worn away. The other is pretty easy to read(pic 10) I think the table top and chair cushions are vinyl, but not 100% sure. The table measures approx. 28" by 28" and stands approx. 27" tall. Each chair is just under 32" from the ground to the top of the back. The chairs are 17 1/2" wide, while the seat is 13 1/3" wide.
