Set of FOUR Burke 103 Mid Century Danish Modern Style chairs from the 1960's. The color is dark blue with maroon cushions. The cushions are easily removable. Four screws secure them. These chairs would look amazing w/ a lighter color cushion. The Burke chairs greatly resemble vintage Herman Miller type chairs. Of which I own as well. All furniture has been stored, wraped in furniture blankets, in a climate controlled, non smoking home since 1970. They were owned by a New York City art collector whom retired to the midwest. This is an original. Authentic DUX chair, attributed to DUX designer Folke Ohlsson. This chair is in great condition. It does have the normal wear associated with its vintage condition. But other than a few knicks and an older, vintage upholstery, this chair is in great shape! The cushions are a very pretty blue, and they feel like some type if velvet. I'm not certain, but I don't believe the chair has ever been reupholstered. Shipping is to the lower 48 United States only. No international shipping. No Ak or HI shipping. Modern Looking Mid Century Orange Lounge Chair Wood Danish Type Retro
The following auction is for a vintage orange cushioned wooden chair. It is unmarked.And I am unsure of who made it. I am not trying to trick or deceive you, I truly just don't know. If you happen to know for sure what the maker is please email me and let me know. The chair is used and shows some wear. Its a bit dusty and needs to be cleaned up. The chair shows some wear. I don't know if these are the original cushions or not. This is the way we received the chair. There are some scratches in the wood. A few are a little deeper than others. They are mostly on the arms and sides of the chair. It looks like it was repaired with a longer bolt on the left side arm. It looks to have been reattached with a nut The cushions have some light stains. The one pic shows the backside of the cushions. The one has a spot where it looks like glue ... morewas spilled. Luckily it was on the bottom of the pad. The one pad is made of material the other is vinyl. The vinyl one has a stain on it.But again,its on the back. The bottom cushion has a 6 inch tear along the seam. Its just tore along the seam. You could sew it up and probably not notice it The chair has springs built in to the bottom. The brown flap is just a cover that goes over the springs. The springs are still intact. A great old sturdy chair. I am not sure if you could hide the repair in the arm.But its pretty neat. Danish Modern Mid Century Grand Prix Chair by Arne Jacobsen
A beautiful. Very early Grand Prix Chair by Arne Jacobsen. These chairs are still in production, however they were only made with teak legs for the first few years in the late 50's. Since then, metal legs has been the only option. Because of this, any with wooden legs are guaranteed to be some of the very earliest made, by far the most desirable, and many would say the most beautiful. When I got this chair a few years ago, it still had the original blue fabric. It was stained and faded, and the padding underneath was crunchy and fossilized. It needed to come off. The chair is currently bare wood, and looks great as is, but a restoration purist might someday like to bring it back to its original specs; hence I have included a couple photos with the original royal blue upholstery. The chair is over 50 years old. So the condition is not ... moreperfect, however it is in good vintage condition with expected nicks and small scratches. It looks like an old minor repair was done to one of the back legs. I see what I think is a little glue residue holding down a tiny bit of splintered wood at the curve. It's definitely structurally sound though, and I've been using it for the last two years. Nothing else to report other than that.

Teak Rocking Chair by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa Circa 1960's. Norway This is truly an exciting find! A few weeks ago. This extremely rare and beautiful piece was generously passed down from its original owner. Purchased in the early 1960's, it has been lovingly enjoyed and taken care of ever since. The sculpted teak frame has since been delicately cleaned and polished. The 100% wool upholstery has been professionally cleaned and is a vibrant peacock blue. The foam is firm and very comfortable, complete with built in lumbar support. Please notice the padded head rest with removable cover sits securely and hangs freely, using a counterweighted bag located at the back of the chair. This classic"floating" seat is further complimented by a lighter blonde wood along the surface of the rockers, completing the overall clean and ... moreorganic design of the chair. Condition This incredible chair is in excellent vintage condition. Complete with the original Westnofa tag, located on the bottom of the seat. Please notice that the wool is slightly faded on the seat surface. Also, the patina on one armrest is slightly lighter than that of the other arm rest. During the restoration process, it was decided that there was no way we would replace the upholstery fabric. It is just much too nice. We love it! Dimensions In the pictures provided. Used. Not mint. Tell City quit manufacturing in 2011. Chair is used. Chair shows wearing/lightening of stain on arm rests- see pictures. Chair shows dents. Scratches, dings, chips, etc. as you can imagine. I believe the chair is from around the 1950-1960's era. I believe it is made of maple. The cushions are original. The cushions are stained, dirty, etc. I tried beating the dust out, but it did not go well. The finish is original, maple, hence the wearing of the stain. The webbing is new. Tell City still sells the webbing. I replaced the webbing to their specifications. When you sit in it there is a dip/give. I put a man who weighs 195 pounds in the chair to see that the webbing held up and how it worked. The bottom of legs do not have any protection for a floor on them. In Excellent Vintage condition with no major flaws. Although obviously used, the black vinyl coverings look great with no rips, snags, stains or tears. All tufting looks good and buttons are firmly attached. Chrome pedestal base is in very good condition, firmly attached, and only has minor pitting due to its age, but nothing major. Viko By Baumritter Pair Of Mid Century Modern Danish Office Study Lounge Chair
For sale is a pair of Viko by Baumritter lounge chairs. Dark brown fabric with oak armrests and steel frame. No holes or tears to the fabric on either chair. But one chair looks like it has been used a little more often. If you look at the last picture the seat cushion has a light fading to the fabric probably by the sun. They stand 30" tall x 30" wide leg to leg x 26 1/4" wide armrest to armrest. These measurements are approximate. We are doing local pick up only. But we are open to other arrangements. Set of 4 Chair / Couch Mid Century Danish Modern Walnut and Brass
These legs are short. The came off of a revolving stuffed armchair. The armchair was on a swivel base. And the swivel base had 4 feet. The legs are in pretty weathered condition. It's no surprise that these look the way they do. And yet they survive because they are walnut. And they are a mid century. One of the bases has a ding in the brass, so I took a picture of it. Its the last picture. All have screw tops. All have brass wraparounds, and all have a base on the bottom that tilt in any direction. As you can see the base at the bottom is filled with a kind of hard plastic. Buyer pays the flat rate small box priority rate of $6.00 trackable and with 3 day arrrival.I accept Paypal.

Soren J Ladefoged chair& ottoman This is a wonderfully designed teak arm chair and ottoman by Soren J Ladefoged for SL Mobler. The frame is solid teak and features the iconic tapered legs and sculptural carved paddle arms. The chair has two positions. Upright and reclined, easily adjustable with a hook system. The ottoman is sloped for a more comfortable leg position. A removable head rest is held in place with a weighted"tail" that hangs over the back of the chair. The wood is in very good condition. With age appropriate wear on the arms(see pictures) and a few modest surface blemishes here and there. The burgundy upholstery is in very good condition; there is a relatively minor spot on the ottoman that seems to be stained, though I made no attempt to clean it.
