The padding is adequate and the fabric has a soft sheen. The yellows are actually a bit more Orange/brown and"earthy" and not the lemon yellow many of my photos would suggest. The chair is extremely comfortable. The depth of the seating cushion allows you to sit back all the way to where your thigh is supported completely by the cushion and the high headrest allows you to"sink" back into the full depth of the chair. It is sturdy and well built. The total"footprint" of this chair is 30" wide x 34" deep. The seating area is 26" wide x 23" deep. The total height is 45"The diagonal footprint is 37" x 37" CONDITION: The bottom of the posts look as though they once had metal caps on them. These are missing. The underside of the seat where one of the posts inserts has been"chipped" but still encases the chair post securely. The support coils are intact and still holding strong. The cushions are still"cushiony" and the fabric overall is in great shape but there are several small spots on one side of the seating cushion which is remedied by turning the cushion over. The plywood sidewalls and the armrests themselves are in great condition with only a few flaws. One armrest has a divot in the end of it and a nick in the center side. Everything has been stored in my back room in air conditioned and dry conditions. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. You are looking at a very nice and rare Selig high back lounge chair in teak with what I was told is the original blue upholstered cover(although the fagas straps have been replaced with lawn chair webbing at some point. Mid Century Danish Modern Fredrik Kayser Teak Lounge Chair This is a stunning vintage 1950's Danish Modern Lounge Chair. Similar to Finn Juhl's chairs in their sculpted. Organic form, this is a stunning example of Scandinavian design, with tapering legs, caned back and finely crafted joints. This chair is stylish, comfortable, and robust. The Vatne label is long gone but still has the Made In Norway label. Beautiful all teak frame measures 30.5" high back, 24" deep and 25" wide. The seat is 17" to the floor. All original, a few areas of the cane have broken. This includes the zippered cushions that would be easy to replace with your style and color. Super comfortable with the cushions still retaining their bounce. All-original. Can't find a signature or mark. But it looks like it could be an Adrian Pearsall, Ib Kofod Larsen, Arne Vodder, or one of their contemporaries. Originated from the estate of a mansion filled with mid century modern art and furniture. So it's definitely of the period. Vintage Poul Volther Frem Rojle Chair Danish Modern Project Wegner Style MCM
This auction is for one vintage Frem Rojle Poul Volther designed project chair. We bought this chair to restore. At the time we were trying to find a forth chair to finish our set and we found this one that needed a lot of attention. When we found it. Someone had badly painted it white and added some extra holes to it. Fortunately they didn't paint the woven seat. We started to remove the white paint. That was as far as we made it before we found one in perfect condition to finish our set. So now we are passing this project on. Besides the white paint, they added a two bolts to the left rear leg and two extra bolts to the right side of the chair where the seat back attaches. They split the wood on the back rest when they added the extra bolts. I had planned on filling all the extra holes and fixing the splits in the backrest once I got ... morethe whole chair properly stripped and then refinishing it back to it's original glory. The woven seat with the manufacture stamp on the rear corner is in good condition. There is a little white paint on some of the strands closest to where the legs mount, but it should be easy to remove. The dimensions of the chair are 18.25" wide, 18" deep, and 30" tall. Product Description For sale is an outstanding mid century modern executive chair. I can stress enough how cool this chair is. The rich wood and black(maybe leather) and cloth upholstery complement the striking lines. Jasper Manufacturing Co made this fine chair. The wood is very very dense. Im not sure of the species, but its not oak because the lines are too fine and uniform. Full disclosure- the bottom caster is slightly bent. I dont have a vice to straighten it out, but since it was bent, it should bend right back. Second, there is a small blemish on the right side of the chair, its very hard to see in the picture and could be touched up and hidden using the same stuff found at auto repair stores for leather seats. Nice original Mid Centry Modern Danish Comfortable Chair. This is pre owned and has been gently used over the years. came from a smoke free home. this chair is very sturdy. No wabbling or loose parts. yes it needs a little tlc as it has it's original patina and worthy of most any setting. it has a minor flaw on the arm of the right side as shown in the pictures. this chair can be easily restored but the nice thing is it's not nesasary and can be used as is. This is a great looking pair of vintage mid century modern Siesta chairs by Westnofa. They are leather and the wood appeas to be a rosewood. They have some wear on the front corners and some wear in here and there from use. One chair has had one bolt replaced but this does not show during normal use. Mid-Century Modern Leather Slung Sirocco Safari Chair c. 1960s Designed by Arne Norell Stunning chair with brown leather slung seat. Backrest and armrests. The frame consists of solid oak poles that slot into one another- the chair is designed to come apart. The wood displays with a warm patina and and lovely grain. The chair at points has the odd brass fixing- all of which are original to the chair. An awesome chair that although utilised on a regular basis and shows many signs of this is still perfectly usable in its current state. These chairs often sell for hundreds of pounds and so they should but this one Im sure will be way below the ordinary asking price- grab a fantastic and very stylish mid-century design- not perfect I appreciate but never the less real eye candy and still worthy of parking ya bum on. Reclining and relaxing in! ... moreOffered in fair condition with a view to either restoring or at the very least treating the leather to some saddle soap and tlc- the leather DOES NEED this treatment in my opinion. The wooden frame is in good condition with minor signs of age and previous use but nothing more than you would expect for an item of this vintage but no damage. The leather straps located at the base of the backrest have both torn and are quite literally hanging by a thread( both shown) The buckles that these straps are connected to display with some minor surface corrosion- nothing that wont clean up. A previous owner has loved the chair enough to have it repaired in the past- the original fitted leather loops to the top of both wooden uprights have been re-wrapped with leather and an additional tie fastening added. One is still quite tight the other has a tendancy to slip down if not tied tight enough. To the underside there is a circular patch- this cant really be seen owing to its location unless a few vinos have been had! The leather arms are very. Very worn but do not show signs of failing. The leather in general displays with wear, marks and discolouration as old leather does. I

Set of five Burke 103 Mid Century Danish Modern Style chairs from the 1960's. The color is dark blue with maroon cushions. The cushions are easily removable. Four screws attach them. These chairs would look amazing w/ a lighter color cushion. The Burke chairs greatly resemble vintage Herman Miller type chairs. Of which I own as well. All furniture has been stored, wraped in furniture blankets, in a climate controlled, non smoking home since 1970. They were owned by a New York City art collector whom retired to the midwest.
