The cushions are on real springs-not ... morethe newer knock offs on plywood and thick foam. They could be designer pieces as they came from the same estate as the Jens Risnom and Girsberger chairs that I have just listed. These are sound and solid with no holes or tears to the original fabric. Fabric is quite thick and durable and rather a golden yellow color. Seat height is 16 1/2" in the front-14 1/2" in the back-so they set an angle and you just sort of lean back into them. Cushioning is still in good shape and they set comfortable. Seat width is 24 1/2" with a depth of 22" Back height is 33" They are pretty clean but you might want to hit them with some upholstery cleaner. I don't see any stains. I need to remove the legs from the seat frame to hold the shipping cost down. To do so I need to remove the staples from the dust liner on the underside to get to the nuts and bolts that hold the legs on. They just bolt right back on with wing nuts for the front and nuts for the rear legs. Upholstery will stay tight as that is on with small nails. Some wear to the mahogany stain finish but not a lot. I think the wood is probably poplar stained mahagony. If you would like to pick up and save the shipping my zipcode is 17363. Harvey Probber X-Base lounge chair in good vintage condition. It has been upholstered in vinyl and is dirty. The brass stretcher and legs are in great shape too. This chair is quite rare and has been very well preserved. The porcelain is in very nice condition with only a few small places where it is chipped.I would say it is 99.5% good. All parts and pieces are present. There is nothing missing. Everything functions exactly as it should. The hydraulic lift works very well and holds an adult when the chair is raised all the way up. I have never seen another Koken chair like this one. I will ship the chair at my expense(which looks like it will cost me about $600 to most places in the US) I will take great care in the packaging before it is shipped. Vintage Queen Anne Channel Wing Back Chair Wood Trim Brass Tacks High Quality
This is a very nice chair made with superior craftsmanship and attention to detail. This chair is very comfortable and rock solid; it is as sturdy as it was when it was made. The fabric is a orange gold that has minimal normal wear no holes. Burns, rips, odors or repairs. The arms and seat are a little darker and could use a cleaning. There are no major stains perhaps a couple of very minor small spots. I have not attempted any cleaning on this chair and I suspect it will clean up real well. The back seems a little brighter with a little more orange. The fabric is odor free and did not have any pet hair on it when I acquired it but I do not know the history of this chair as I got it second hand. The chair has well aged brass tacks that outline all the wood work. The chair is not marked and is an older chair this appears to be reupholstered ... morein the 50's. The spring are good and all tied in perfect. There is no wiggle or looseness in this chair. Dimensions 35" tall and 17" high to the seat. 29" wide and the seat is 22" wide the chair is 25" deep. Purchased from the estate of a gentleman who worked for Heywood Wakefield furniture co. for over 35 years. These are vintage original slides that measure 1 1/8" in diameter across bottom and leg fitting is for 1/5" pipe leg with butterfly wings to hold in place and sleeve to cover base of leg. All metal construction with plastic slide. They are angled to lay flat on floor but they are NOT jointed to pivot. Although they do adjust giving to the angle needed when installed. I know these were used on Lloyds and Wakefield kitchen chairs and numerous others as well. More of same available if needed.

But because the back and seat are independently attached, this is a very easy/inexpensive job. There are some deep scratches on the frames and a lot of wear and patina all over. The chairs do have rust on the side rails and other areas. These are heavyweight steel chairs weighing 21 pounds each.the frames need to be refinished/repainted. Barber chair foot pump, steampunk part, chrome and brass restoration piece
This is a piece I found in my Dads basement. He was a collector of anything unique. Good quality, mechanical etc. This appears to be the foot pump from a barber shop, or dental office chair. It weighs 4-5 lbs. I would say it is chromed or nickel plated. There are many surface scratches in the finish. The plunger button is brass and does push up and down with strong pressure.Any questions I will try to answer. This sale is for a Brass or Bronze Pig in a Rocking Chair. The piece was part of a box lot so I have no specific information about it. It is in excellent condition. Clean and odor free. It is a very detailed piece. For example, the rocking chair has a detailed medallion on the center top back. The pig is wearing a tie with folds in the fabric. Even the hooves are well defined. The pig is attached to the chair with a screw(see picture) I do not know if the piece is vintage or newer. The hinges and hardware appear to be brass which could use a good polishing. The chair is adjustable with three slots on the back legs. It measrues 20” in height with a 13” width) x 16” length) seat and 13” width) x 5” length) back. In the folded position it measures 26” in length and 6” in height. It is in excellent condition free of any nicks, chips, tears, etc. For accuracy I need to mention the wood has minor usage scratches and could use a little polishing/oiling and just one of the bolts in the back needs to be replaced. Leather upholstery and re-plated all the brass. He kept this in his office for years. It does not fit in our house and I'm hoping some person or business will enjoy the chair today. From what we know. This is an early model Theo A Kochs Barber(Parlor) Chair. There are numbers stamped in the brass parts. I did not reference them for maker's mark i.d. There are no visual maker's marks or tags that I found. The i.d. as Kochs chair is cross-referenced with online sources(Kochs' catalogs, photos) and other ebay members with the same chair. I originally thought it was pre-1900 but the same Kochs'parlor' chair was made into the late ... more1920's. The wood parts on this chair need finish for the chair to look it's best.
