Antique Thonet Bentwood Chair-With Multiple Tags Intact
Before I start in about this chair I wanted to mention a bit about the shipping. I have the shipping maybe a bit high but lately I have been loosing my tush on shipping because I have been way under charging. I am new and haven't quite figured the shipping thing out yet. I will say this however. I am a very honest seller and will NOT ever charge anyone too much on shipping. That has been done to me and I refuse to do it to someone else. So, if I can ship it cheaper I absolutely will, and if it doesn't take that much to ship it then you will be getting a refund. Please feel free to contact anyone that I have sold things to and ask them if I am honest. Anyway, I just thought I would mention that before I went on, lol. I have up for sale a very antique genuine Thonet bentwood accent chair. This chair is solid especially for it's ... moreage. We have sat in it for years. Just don't have room for it any longer. This chair is 33 inches tall and 16 inches wide. I am not 100 percent sure what this chair is made of, meaning what type of wood. While it is a little smaller than a normal size dinning room chair for example, this chair is quite heavy for it's size. This chair is a bit dusty and probably needs to be cleaned up properly. I am sure it would look a whole lot richer if it had some wood polish on it, but I am never sure exactly what might harm or help a chair this age and I sure would hate to have run a rag over it with wood polish and find out that I just ruined it. I have that sort of luck you know, lol. Okay. So continuing on with this beautiful chair. From the research I have done it seems to me that Thonet stopped making this type of seat around 1880. I am certain this chair is NOT a reproduction because if you look at some of my pictures of the underside of the chair you can see that it has square nails in it. On the underside of the chair are 2 labels. One is pictured and is a paper label, and the other label looks like there was another paper label there at one time but might have come off, but

This set of 4 bentwood chairs was purchased by my mother in June. 1957, from a gentleman& his family from Czechoslovakia who settled in Wauchula, Florida. There is some pencil writing on the seat of one of the chairs but I can only make out the date. They have been recovered 2 or 3 times. 3 of the seats are attached to the bottom while 1 is loose. The original hardware remains intact- screws. Bolts, nuts, etc.see photos. I do not know the maker of the chairs-could be Thonet? There is age appropriate wear. The chairs have been stripped to the bare wood as I was going to have them re-done. The wood appears to be oak. Not sure, 34" high, 16 1/2" widest part of seat, 17 1/2" seat to floor. VINTAGE SINGER SEWING MACHINE WALNUT BENTWOOD FULL SIZE CARRY CASE, 1951, NICE
This is a vintage Singer Sewing Machine bentwood storage and carrying case. This is a walnut case and was made in 1951. Originally had a beautiful Model 201 in it. Serial# AK700641. This bentwood case is in really very nice clean condition. It is all there, including the hardware. Includes the pin hinges with the set screws, the metal storage compartment cover, and the original key. The Singer decal is great. A few minor bumps and bruises, but this unit is ready to go. Just install your machine on the pin hinges, tighten the sew screws and you are good to go. This case is for the full size Singer machines only. It will take any model 66. 15, or 201 for example. If it has the full size base, it will fit. Not for the 3/4 size machines like the Model 99. If you are in need of a beautiful full size bentwood case. This one will work fine.

The seats and backs are a cream colored leather. Looks like someone tried to strip the wood on one chair as it appears lighter in color than the other. These are solid to sit on. Two 3.5-4" screws are missing from underneath the seats as shown in pic#4. But can easily be replaced to hold the seat in place better. The tags are still in place that read Thonet. Age appropriate wear to chairs. One small rip in upholstery that I noticed on back of one chair. Upholstery could use some cleaning. Mostly surface dirt. 1936 Singer Sewing Machine Model 128-13 With Knee Control and Bentwood Case
This Singer Model 128-13 portable electric sewing machine was manufactured in 1936 based on its serial number JB053908. Although I have no idea how to sew and therefore can't check/guarantee functionality. The machine powers up, the motor runs smoothly, all of the parts through to the needle seem to be working and the light works. The machine is operated by the knee control that is with the machine. The bentwood case has its key and the instruction manual is included. There are no accesories other than as shown. The machine is in very good condition with signs of wear due to age and use. The oval shaped box had all sewing stuff in it. Here is what I think is so special about this box. I cannot tell exactly how it was constructed. I will take plenty of pictures for you to come to your own conclusion. But I think the middle and the top is one piece which was bent at the four corners so there are no seams. Antique 1936 Electric Singer Sewing Machine Model 99 in Bentwood Case Manual

Book and knee bar. The decals are intact, although worn in spots. I found this in excellent shape at an estate sale. Have tested it and it sews well, the light and motor work and the machine runs when you press the kneebar. There was a lot of lint in the bobbin mechanism, which I cleaned out. I believe that the plate that covers the bobbin is a replacement, since it seems to be a slightly different metal from the rest and doesn’t fit quite right right. Instead of a foot pedal for this machine. There is a specially curved bar of metal that slides into a hole in the front of the base of the machine. And hangs down next to the operator's knee. Vntg Bentwood Tambourine Instrument Double Row 10" diameter
Up for auction is a vintage laminated bentwood tambourine percussion instrument that was made in Japan. It is in good condition and is nice quality. Only one of the 36 individual cymbals is bent and could be straightened out with plyers. It weighs 10 oz. Has a 10" diameter and is 2" thick. All of the cymbals are doubled. The name of the previous owners have been scratched into the finish on the inside of the tambourine. Buyer pays for priority mail. I ship daily or on next business day. Vintage Bentwood Antique Solid Oak Kohn Mundus Thonet Art Deco Poland Germany
This is a very cool chair. The Following description is information I was able to find through my research on this piece. I don't personally know much about this type of chair. So I can only go by what I read. Please look closely for yourself and make your own determination if the information is or is not accurate. So. Up for auction we have an Ice Cream Parlor. Soda Shop, Bistro Style 1900-1950 Kohn& Mundus style Art Deco Bentwood Thonet style chair with a round super embossed hand carved seat. I believe it dates closer to the circa 1925 era. The chair has a 34" tall back rest and 18" tall seating area with a 14 1/2" diameter seat. When pushed against the wall it measures 17" deep from the wall to the front of the seat. The seat has an interesting carved lines and swirls pattern. The underside of the seat rim ... morehas a stamp into the wood that I believe says Made in Poland. It's difficult to make out. The back rest has the typical bentwood chair design which extends down the rear legs and is attached to the underside of the chair with old square head bolts. The back features triple turned spindle or pin back supports. The legs have that beautifully shaped bentwood look. I am not sure if this is the original color of the chair. Which has heavy wear to the finish. There is some sporadic paint speckles and spots here and there on the chair. The chair came out of an art studio, which explains the paint. I'm sure if you wanted to clean it up and bring it back to original condition, it would clean right up with minimal effort. The chair is very solid and sturdy with no loose joints or screws. Singer 99k manufactured in 1938 Hand crank. Lovely condition in very good working order. See the pictures for a better idea of condition It has a Bentwood case(which is in very good condition) and this has the original lock and key Machine Serial Number EB884627 This machine comes complete with a standard foot. 4 bobbins, and a Hinged Zipper Cording Foot(with the original packaging! and is ready to use. I cleaned it and tested it on 6 layers of denim. It stitched this easily and I have taken a picture of the result. White thread does not seem to show up well though. I will leave the resulting swatch with the machine. I also checked the stitch length adjustment for operation, this also works as it should. This is a heavy duty machine that. Rare Thomas Lamb Steamer Chair Mid Century Modern Deck Folding Bentwood Designer
Offered for your consideration is a great vintage mid century modern steamer chair by Thomas Lamb. Lamb's cruise ship inspired steamer chair from the mid-1970s epitomizes the beauty of bent furniture. Someone noted that it was made of strips of Mabau teak that were steam bent. And then lined up perfectly to maintain the precise angles. However, we are unsure of the wood type. It is part of the Design Exchange’s permanent collection(Bent Out of Shape Exhibition) which spans 6 decades. The chair does fold as it was designed to be a deck chair. There is a pad with the chair– not sure if it is original. Marked: Designed by Thomas Lamb. Canadian Registration 1978. US Patent applied for. Made in Canada. Dubarry Furniture Ltd. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with normal wear due to age and use. Some scratches and dings to wood. A few ... moresmall paint marks. Pair Vintage Bentwood Chairs with Stenciled Seats/Unusual/ Cafe Chairs
Pair of Lovely Bentwood Ice Cream Parlor Chairs/Cafe Chairs. This pair has a dark finish and lighter wood seats that have lightened image of a vine. I am not sure how it was done but it adds a unique touch. One chair has a few smudges of white paint on the seat and legs that I have not tried to remove as I think it adds to the character.The chairs are sturdy. Are in good shape except for minor repair work done on the tops as seen in the photos. There are stamps on the bottom. The numbers on one of the bottoms says Jul 82. The second chair has a round stamp that I cannot make out. They have hardware expected of turn of century Bentwoods. Do your own diligence. Amazingly comfortable antique wooden folding seats. Veneered bentwood backs/ lids supported by solid maple wood frames, first manufactured in the 1870's for use as school, auditorium and theater seating. This 3-seat bench was recovered from an old barn(pre-demolition) covered in layers of dust it wasn't pretty, by using a simple lemon/oil cleaning solution the beautiful original cherry color was revealed. On the front the seats are individually numbered in white paint. 8, 10, and 12; and the back side, 1,2, and 3, in green paint. Up for offer is this vintage/antique bentwood"bucket" My mother used it to hold her knitting projects. But it is also ideal for sewing or other crafts. It has a 10" footprint, and is@ 9" high, not including the handle. It once had a lid, as evidenced by the metal hook(pix 2) but Dad removed it to accomodate knitting needles. The bottom of the bucket has warped some and pulled away from the bentwood frame(pix 5& 6) Otherwise the piece is in nice antique condition.
