Offered is a restoration project from Dunbar. This could be a great office chair. Conference, or dining chair. After many hours of research. I am 100 percent sure its Dunbar made, as it has a distinct style with the arm shape peaking at the backrest. I was informed by a Dunbar buyer that this chair was designed by Ray Zimmerman, and was catalog#6060, which dates it to 1960. So thanks to a fellow ebayer! It was made with latex foam over zig zag spings. And orange woven upholstery, that feels like hopsack wool. Size: 30.5 tall. X 25 wideset point, arm to arm, x 24 inches deep. Condition: The chair is as found. With no cleaning or restoration. Original latex foam is powder now. And shedding. The chair is with original material for your upholstery person to replicate the square pleat stitching. Original Tacks. But no tags are present. The material ... moreis stained on the backrest. I picked these from a used furniture liquidator. Whom told me they had acquired them from a call from the Purchasing Manager of the business/building when they were redecorating the lobby in the late 90’s, the furniture liquidator had had them stored in their warehouse for some years, before I broke down and bought them, thinking them very right now/up-n-coming FAB for a higher end decorator or gallery to refurbish. Great Bones! The end forms of the benches are fiberglass form. And the bench seats easily unbolt and would make for an affordable somewhat easy reupholster. 8 Vtg MCM 60's 70's InterRoyal Meeting Dining Table Side Chairs Eames Baughman
This is a beautiful set of 8 high quality upholstered and chrome Interroyal chairs labeled and dated Aug 1971. Six of the chairs are complete and excellent overall. Two of the chairs however have some cosmetic issues and are missing feet/glides and chrome caps that cover the 3/4" chrome leg and seat tubes. All of the fabric upholstery is very good with very minimal wear and no rips or tears and most have full or partial labels as well as writing on the bottom from the previous owner. The cushions are all soft and very comfortable with no odors. Of the six complete chairs, the chrome is very good with mild tarnish although they have not been polished recently. The two incomplete chairs, one has heavier tarnish especially underneath and some creasing on the seat cushion and a small cracked portion of the cushion foundation underneath, ... morethe other incomplete chair has moderate to heavy chrome flaking and loss to the chair frame. Overall however it is a great group of beautifully styled chairs and the two incomplete chairs could be put back in service with TLC. They measure 31" high at the back, 20 1/2" wide and 18 3/4 depth and are very heavy. I am selling these as is and offering as pick up only. here we have a chrome bench by milo baughman for the DIA corporation(design institute of america) this bench measures 60 inches long x 16.75 wide and 16.75 high. it is an elegant design befitting a special place in your lovely. Midcentury modern, deco, hollywood regency, or even a mix of styles home or abode. I personally see this in an empire setting with some asian artifacts(but I digress) this bench has no issues at all and is in structurally excellent condition. it weights about 50 lbs. I am not sure about that, but this is a fair guess I think. as stated, this size in particular is quite rare and very desirable. Vintage Milo Baughman Lounge Chair Ottoman Panton Era Modern Thayer Coggin
This auction is for one vintage Thayer Coggin lounge chair and ottoman designed by Milo Baughman. The chair and rolling ottoman are solid and comfortable. Cosmetically. The chair and ottoman are both covered in their original beige/tan fabric with very little wear. There is one spot of what appears to be nail polish on the seat cushion of the chair(see picture) It was hard to photograph, it is barely seen unless you are looking for it. The ottoman has a tiny white spot near the top edge and a grey mark on one corner. The chrome shines like new with only minimal scratches and wear(see pictures) The black meshing on the underside of the chair has tears in a few spots. The dimensions of the chair are 29.5" wide, 29.5" deep, and 25" tall. Original vinyl was an ugly green so I have been planning to redo this for a while and finally got it done. It took a while to find a cow hide this big. This couch had the middle projected seating area reupholstered in the hide. With black Naugahyde else ware. I had the two arm rests upholstered with a strip of the hide to break up the black Naugahyde surrounding the hide. I think my upholsterer did an incredible job, as he always does. This is a head turner. This couch retains its original Thayer Coggin manufacturer's label as well as the very early Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin label. It measures 71" long x 31" deep(top of back to front of seat) x 30" tall at the back top from the floor. Item Description: Listed is a vintage 1970’s geometric brass plated over tubular form steel( base w/ glass top Coffee/Cocktail Table. I consider this a re-do table because of oxidation to base. And brass finish. I have documented the piece showing worst close up. There is one dime size rust spot on the longest tube which connects the two ends together, this largest rust spot is located on the bottom of the tube facing the ground. There is also a speckling of rust/oxidation/brass plating loss on all the pieces. This is a refurbishable table. As it is sturdy, and all welds OK, just needs new plating/finish. All 4 foot peg levelers are accounted for. 1 small rubber suction cup missing where finger is pointing in photo which would hold glass firmly in place. Upholstered in a light blue grey flannel fabric that is a bit faded( you can see it when the cushion is removed) Has one small tear on upper edge of right side cushion.
