They are very strong and solid and can be used for seating. The fabric and finish looks to be original. However. They need repairs. Some chairs have torn leather and one has a stain. There are no markings on either the table nor the chairs. The table closed is approximately 39" L X 30" W. Extended is approximately 63" L X 30" W and 29" Tall. The chairs are approximately 35" Tall, 17 1/4"W(measured at the top widest part) X approximately 16"L(measured from the front to the rear of seat) The seats have been re-done in a mauve/velveteen type of material. Don't know how long ago! There a little dusty from storage and probably ... morecould use refreshing. There are a few specks on some of the chair seats, not stains but I think it's the way the velveteen material is. Can't really make out for sure. Tried to get a picture but so small, it doesn't come out in the pictures. Very minor but did want to point it out. The chair seats pop out easily, so if you didn't like the color of the material on the seats, would be easy to replace! There is also, an engraved rose/design on the top front part of the chairs. Please Refer to Pictures for Clarity and more Detail! On the back frame of one of the chairs(below the white dot shown in the picture) is a tiny little hole where a small wood knot use to be. The table top has some minor dings due to normal use and for it's age. It must be close to 100 years old! The oak on the table and chairs is a mixture of light/dark wood. There is one small spot on the table top that is darker than the rest of the table- it's in the wood! All part of it's character! Solid tiger oak antique(circa 1920s) table and 8 chairs(original Murphy i.d. plate) Excellent condition with 10 additional leaves. This has been in my family since it was purchased with one owner until I was given the table and chairs. I think the cut of wood is tiger or tiger eye as they call it. I'm not positive on this but an expert would be able to tell pretty easily.

One or two antique oak kids chairs childrens school chair 20s-30s 25x14 flawless
Set of two 2 antique child's oak school chairs in great shape(or sold individually. The finish is still nearly 100% flawless. The screws need to be tightened but otherwise they are in excellent condition. One chair is 24" tall and the other is 25" tall. The seat on both is 11 3/4" deep by 13 3/4" wide. Matching chairs match and have been a set for as long as i have had them(10 yrs) and the 20 years the person I got them from had them. They are from the 20's or 30's and I forgot what company made them but their aren't too many around in this great of shape. If you sell tables like we do, including the 14 foot banquet and the 11 foot banquet we recently listed, you need a lot of chairs! This is simply a beautiful. Ornate, hand carved oak dining table made in the Jacobean/Elizabethan era style. It comes complete with 6 matching chairs, one of which is a captain's chair. It has been extremely well cared for, after all it's over a hundred years old! The bottom of the table top has been painted black, so i cannot find any markings that might indicate who made it, or the exact year. It has been reenforced with some sturdier brackets underneith. It's in fantastic shape. Two of the chairs are not featured in the pictures, but are included. The seats will need to be recovered as the threading is coming apart, but all the oak is solid and beautiful. FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! Set of 5 Antique Cane seat Wood chairs. Came from my mothers estate. Which came from my grandmothers estate. I don't know anything at all about furniture, or furniture styles, or even types of wood. So I took a lot of pictures, and hopefully, the viewer will know what he or she is looking at. The measurements are: 33inch height, 15&1/4 inch seat by 16 inch at widest point, 13 and 1/4 inch across back, which flares out to 14 and 1/4 inches measuring across the top. Chair legs are 16 inch in height. They are all in very good condition, a few rubs here and there. The caning is tight, the struts are good and tight too. I don't know if these are called side chairs, don't really know what that has referred to, but when sat in the height is about the same as my other dining room wood chairs, except on these, ... morethe back is lower.Also the chairs are darker than the"orangey" and reddish color in some cases, than the pictures show. A most wonderful oak dining set in the Louis XV style from the late 19th century. The oak ornaments are carvings of bellflowers. Scallop shells, and scrolling acanthus leaves, the table and chairs in the original brown finish, the carvings gilt accented. New foam cushions with Louis XV style fabric covers. The cane back rests are all original(four of the seat canes are new caning, one back side chair caning with small hole. The table without skirtless leaves is a round 60" with all 4 leaves added it extends to 9'4" 112" There are four 13" wide leaves in wood storage case, and fitted covers, included. The arm chairs measure 45" tall by 27" wide, the seats 19" deep, the side chairs 41" tall by 18" wide, the seats 15" deep. Pair of Unusual Antique Carved Arts & Crafts Ornate Oak Chairs
This listing is for a pair of antique dark oak chairs- identical. These chairs have beautiful carving on the back and below the seat in the front. I would say that these chairs are in very good condition. You can see over time that there were some reinforcements placed below the seat and I think that the current seat is not the original one. The current seat needs some good cleaning. The chairs are sturdy and have a few little areas of the color coming off. Measurements: 43 inches in height- 18 1/2 inches long- 17 inches in width- 17 inches from the floor to the seat. I would prefer pick up only but will be willing to ship. Please note that these are heavy. Tall chairs and the shipping will be quite high.

Carved in oak with carved gothic decoration to the cresting rail of gothic roundels, the rectangular padded back and seat covered in nailed racing green leatherette on faceted octangular legs joined by chamfered square stretchers with brass caps and castors, the underside of both chairs stamped'HOLLAND& SONS' and one with'W. MILES' The condition of both chairs is mainly ... moregood and entirely original. With a natural and honest patina, deep colour and no sign of any restoration. This is in good condition with wear for a dining room set of this age. One leaf will need minor adjustments to the retracting mechanism.
