I have noted in my description of condition above that one of the rush bottom seats on this set is broken through, and simply replaced at present with a wood board underneath the seat cushion. I have taken this into account and am selling these chairs"as is" for a great price for someone looking to invest a little love into bringing them back to their full glory by replacing the seat(s) These side dining chairs stand 37 1/2 inches tall and measure 17 1/2 inches wide by 17 inches front to back. It has the original tray, which is usually gone. Someone took the wheels off as they did not want to use it as a walker in the house. We do not have the wheels, but there were a 3- or 4-inch wheel that goes into the holes on the base, and they are not necessary for the chair to work. It still works as a high chair for half way down and down to the floor. You release the spring latch in the back to adjust the height.

This set is from the 30's or 40's I believe. Great condition. Comes with extra leaf to expand and make it larger. Comes with all 6 chairs but not the small pillows in the chairs. Also comes with protective felt top. The only markings on the table are underneath. One in yellow chalk reads 323-1 on the bottom of the tabletop. And, on the other end of tabletop and on one of the legs it's stamped in black 750. However on the bottom of the chairs there is a paper cloth label that says Bernhardt Furniture Company. Lenoir, NC. This is a beautiful 100 year old 50 inch round oak pedestal table with claw feet. It is truly beautiful and great for a family. There is one small chip on the edge. It is very sturdy and virtually indestructible. It has a beautiful finish and casters at the bottom of the feet so it can be easily moved. The chairs are also oak and fit perfectly with the table. It can be a table for 6 but can be expanded to a table for 12. It is virtually indestructible. It is exandable but no leaves are present. It has been in one home for 50 years! I have for sale 4 antique English oak double barley twist chairs with carved details. There are 3 side chairs and 1 arm chair. They have(I believe) the original finish with good patina and are nicely upholstered in a red fabric with a square checked design. The fabric is fairly new and in good condition. All the webbing/padding appears original. These chairs are in very good condition(especially considering their age) Are sturdy and have had very minor glue repairs over the years. The arm chair is slightly larger than the side chairs. All the seats are 18 inches high, the arms on the arm chair are 28 inches high. The arm chair is 45-1/2 inches tall, 22 inches wide at the front and 21-1/2 inches deep at the seat. The side chairs are 42-1/2 inches tall, 18 inches wide at the front and 17 inches deep at the seat. These chairs would make a great ... moregrouping for a breakfast nook, dinette or game table. This set of four antique barley twist chairs are a stunning and beautiful find. They would be a wonderful addition to any dining room or breakfast area. Made from solid oak. The hand carvings on these antique dining chairs are exquisitely detailed. Each chair is detailed with a gentle curved cut out at the top of the back rest. The barley twist legs on the front of each chair are thick and really ... morebeautifully turned. Overall a very beautiful design! These dining chairs were made in England sometime around 1920. Probably commissioned for a wealthy family or estate and then passed down from there. We acquired them near Oxford. The previous owners have taken very good care of these chairs as is evident by the current very good condition. We have chosen a“good” condition rating for these chairs. They are very sturdy and strong and have no wobbles or looseness to them. The wooden“I” stretchers at the bottom ensure the chairs will stay sturdy for years to come. There are no major breaks or repairs. The upholstery is dingy and one chair has a small hole in the fabric but they can easily be changed. The chairs do exhibit minor distressing marks in the form of tiny marks throughout that we consider character expected from chairs of this age. We have cleaned the chairs and they are ready to go directly into the home and be used. What keeps the chairs from being in excellent condition is one chair has some old wood worm damage on one part of the stretcher. This has been treated and is not active. We have included a picture. Oak Refectory/Slide Extension Table with Six (6) Chairs - (Antique/Vintage)
These are beautiful pieces of furniture I purchased from an Estate Sale a few years back. Although the set was/is in great shape my intention was to properly restore to original condition. But I've never had the time to invest in the project. I've not had it appraised but believe the set may be(1890-1904) The style does not follow any single design. There are English. French and Spanish influences throughout both table and chairs. The style carries the idea of a basic farmhouse/trestle table but has the flair of both French and Spanish design. I spent a lot of time trying to find something like it but was not successful. This is a refectory table which means it extends from both ends(16’ pieces that slide out. Drop and then slide/lock into place) Without extensions. The table measures 62” long(5 feet) and with the extensions it is ... more94” long(nearly 8 feet! There are natural age imperfections and one of the feet were repaired due to a break(I’m guessing during a move by the previous owner) That being said. I bought it with full disclosure because of its beauty and versatility. There are six chairs with the set which includes one Arm Chair. They are all in good condition with natural aging but the upholstery was breaking down with age so I had to replace it. The cushions were secured with vintage upholstery“tacs” and the filling was something that looked a combination of straw and shredded burlap. I did some research and identified it to probably be an excelsior filling(which suggested the age because of dissolving condition and powdery mess) I replaced the cushions myself which has served our need(I am not a professional upholsterer! I’ve done my best to describe the furniture to my best ability and own research. That does not constitute and official appraisal! It's most likely older than that. The designs are really beautiful in the wood. The chair measures 38 1/2" tall. 25 1/2" wide. It has some small marks here and there but overall. It's sturdy and very solid with no cracks. It's always been kept in a dry and non smoking environment. The upholstery could use some refurbishing. It needs more padding. Gorgeous pair of antique Stickley Brothers Mission Oak Arts and Crafts Period. We bought these at the Brimfield Antiques Fair. MA, about 10 years ago. The dealer told us they are Stickley Brothers. There was a part of a label on one chair, even though they appear re-finished, but that label is long gone. The chairs are very heavy and measure about 24 width, 24 depth and 37 inches height. The seats are in good condition but they have been re-upholstered with faux leather. We did think about having the seats done in leather but never got around to it. The finish is nice and"warm" The chairs are in great condition with no major flaws. Naturally 80-100 years of age will result in the odd nick, ding and scrape but on par these are almost as good as new. Due to the size/weight of the set. I'm not offering shipping at this point.
