These beautiful chairs were refinished and reupholstered for our wedding 28 years ago. And have graced our home since. The wedding bells on the chairs were hand painted by a local Wisconsin artist, Mrs. Sally Kimball. Local pickup is free. This appears to be an antique oak dining room table with 6 chairs but it is possible that it is a reproduction. I have had it for 15 years. It is well made and could made of TIGER OAK. This table measures 92 inches long with the leaves extended. It is 59 inches long without the extension. It is 36 inches wide and 30 inches high. The legs are very ornate as shown in picture# 5. We have a beautiful antique solid oak square table with 4 double pressback oak chairs! The table has Jacobean style legs with ornately carved trestles on each side. The scrolls and fan carvings really highlight the table. The table measures 40" X 42" and stands 28" tall. The double pressback oak chairs are accented by scroll and leaf carvings and have double rungs. The chairs measure 42" tall X 19 3/4" wide X 22" deep. The chairs are not original to the table. Re-glued, reupholstered, and all ready to go in the home for many years of carefree use. Where else can you find a set of 6 chairs like this? If you sell tables like we do, including the 14 foot banquet and the 11 foot banquet we recently listed, you need a lot of chairs! These chairs have been all stripped, pulled apart, re-glued, sanded, stain, multiple coats of satin sheen sanding sealer and lacquer applied, and we've also added cushioned seats. The seats are all matching, thick cushions, and very comfortable. These chairs are the most desirable press-back chairs ever, sought after by many, many antique dealers back in the 1970s. This is an antique dining room set consisting of a table. 3 leaves and 8 chairs made by A. Brandt Co. This particular style is hard to find. Without the leaves, it is a nice round table 42" diameter. Each leaf is 14" With all 3 leaves in it, it is 85" long and 42" wide. It has a 5th leg that swings down to provide additional support for the table. This style of chair is rare. The set has minor blemishes, but is in nice condition considering its age. The chairs have been re-glued and are sturdy and comfortable. This is a lovely set and is so versatile. Antique Tiger Oak Table/Six Pressed Back Chairs
The square pedestal split base table is tiger oak and an antique. Gorgeous claw feet with wheels under them. If you would just add a little stain on top it would be gorgeous or keep as is. That is the beauty of antiques they have had previous lives. The square top measures 4'x4' The base splits in half for easy transport. The last picture shows the table top with scratch cover on it. This good sized chairs have a leather back support with hand painted and brass stud detailing over a leather wrapped seat and are raised atop square legs with ornate stretcher support. Overall a very beautiful design! These dining chairs were made in England sometime around 1920. Probably commissioned for a wealthy family or estate and then passed down from there. We acquired them near Oxford. The previous owners have taken very good care of these chairs as is evident by the current excellent condition. We have chosen an“excellent” condition rating for these chairs. They are very sturdy and strong and have no wobbles or looseness to them. The barley twist stretchers at the bottom ensure the chairs will stay sturdy for years to come. There are no major breaks or repairs. The upholstery has recently been changed out and is in very good shape and can easily be changed. OUTSTANDING 4 ANTIQUE NORTHWIND QUARTERSAWN OAK CHAIRS 2 CAPTAINS CARVED FACES
Offered here these 4 victorian circa 1860-1880s Quartersawn oak chairs with very unusual northwind faces. I never have seen any with open mouths that double as handles. I took some of these pictures with flash and some outside in sunlight but chairs are really really dark and I believe have their original finish as well as their seats. All four chairs are super sturdy and there are a few light scuffs but nothing major. there are a couple of super tight age cracks on the back of one of the chairs that you wouldn't even notice unless you were inches away and looking for them. the captains chairs are 44" tall and 24' wide. The other 2 are 42 1/2" tall and 18" wide. they all have working wooden rollers on front legs that can be removed one wooden roller is gone from one chair but metal fixture for it is still there. Set Six 6 Solid Oak Wood French Gothic Carved Antique Dining Chairs
I am selling these gorgeous French Gothic style antique chairs. They are in great condition. Very sturdy and solid and newly reupholstered in a rich cream fabric. I believe they are oak, but I am not sure of my woods. Dimensions are 41" high, 20" wide, 20" deep, and 18" seat height. They have beautiful carvings and finials and the wide seats are very comfortable. I love them but I think I need plain chairs for my ornate table that you see in the photos.
