This children’s ... moresolid oak high chair dates from the 1890s and is in refinished condition. Someone went right through this, refinished it, replaced the cane seat and stained it. It has the original tray, which is usually gone. Someone took the wheels off as they did not want to use it as a walker in the house. We do not have the wheels, but there were a 3- or 4-inch wheel that goes into the holes on the base, and they are not necessary for the chair to work. It still works as a high chair for half way down and down to the floor. You release the spring latch in the back to adjust the height.

Offered is a gorgeous set of 6(SIX) pressed backed chairs with caned seats. These are 6 that match and absolutely go together. They were redone prior to use purchasing them and still are in very good condition. Solid. No regluing or work needed. They are ready to use. Seats are all in good condition. You can see remnants of nail scars on some where the original seats(not cane) must have been attached. Just adds to the characters of this terrific set. The table is for sale too- separately. Antique Oak Dining Room Set - Table and 6 Chairs and beautiful large Hutch
This is a truly beautiful dining room set. The table and hutch and all 6 chairs are solid oak and are from the early 1900s. All pieces were refinished several years ago and have very little use. The table is 42"x42" and has a 34" wide leaf set that extends the table to a full 76" long and is very solid. The table has some very nice intricate legs and structure underneath. There are 4 matching chairs and 2 matching captains chairs. All 6 chairs have beautiful matching cane bottoms. The cane was replaced at the same time they were refinished. The hutch was in very bad condition when I bought it in the mid 70s. It is 84" x 84" The base was totally rebuilt and has 2 repaired doors and 6 drawers with new slide mechanisms. The top can be removed for moving. I will sell separately($600 for the table or hutch) or together ... morefor $1000 firm. The items can be picked up in Strasburg Ohio or I could arrange a delivery for $1 a mile plus I would have to rent an enclosed trailer(about $35) This set is in magnificent condition and have served us well but we are downsizing. Offered here these 4 super RARE and Freakishly delicious Quarter sawn oak Chairs.Victorian Era 1860-1880s with Northwind faces Some might call these Gargoyles. I have never seen any with open mouths that double as handles. I took some of these pictures with flash and some outside in sunlight but chairs are really really dark and I believe have their original finish as well as their seats. COULD BE RARE PREMIUMS FROM LARKIN SOAP COMPANY All four chairs are super sturdy and there are a few light scuffs but nothing major. there are a couple of super tight age splits on the back of one of the chairs the captains chairs are 44" tall and 24' wide. When I found this set. 1968, it was buiared in a stack of furniture in the back room of an old used furniture store in Rumson, NJ, that had been closed for 30 years. I spent a year stripping the many layers of wax and dirt. It was actually black when I bought it. I only have one leaf; however, this table will accept 4 leafs at 11 inches. Being 54 inches in diameter, the extended table could be 98 inches with 4 leafs.

Solid oak. No plywood or particle board, somewhat worn. Both chairs have been re-varnished with Antique patina and re-shellacked with Zinsser Amber. Quite lovely! There is a bit of mold on one of the chairs as it was used outside and it has been disinfected and refinished so that the mold will not spread. The other chair was always indoors and is somewhat worn and in good condition. One could easily add a leather or cloth cushion to the bottom or the back. We have Wrangler Jean seat and back cushions under construction- rivets in place and they are ready for sewing and filler. The top is nice and smooth and made from quarter-sawn oak. It has some blemishes, but no major scratches or dents. As indicated in the photos, the main table can be pulled apart so that one or two additional leaves can be used, supported by the“fifth leg. The table is quite stable and expands easily, although not terribly smoothly. I have two leaves that I purchased separately from the table. They fit fine, but their finish did not match the table when I purchased them and I have never gotten around to the simple job of refinishing them; in one of the photos, you can see that the two leaves are darker than the rest of the table. We often expanded the table using one or both of the leaves and covered the top with a tablecloth. The table is 27.5” high and measures 42” x 42” without the extra leaves. Each leaf is 42” long and adds approximately 10.24” in length to the table. For a total length of 62.5” with both leaves in place. Antique Early American Oak Dining Room Set Table Chairs Buffet Sideboard & Hutch
Being offered for sale. Is an early American oak dining room furniture set. The set is comprised of a dining table. 6 chairs, a sideboard/ buffet, and a hutch. Below is more detailed information as it pertains to each piece: Table: There is a maker's mark on the inside of the table which reads. B. Walter& Co. Inc. U.S. Patent No. 1736533 26229 Wabash, Indiana. I did not find a maker's mark on the sideboard or hutch so I can't say for sure if they came from the same manufacturer. The top of the table just lifts off. Perhaps was secured at some point. Would be simple to re-secure. Just a few nails/ screws. There are 2 hidden leafs on each side of the table. They pull out and raise up, or push down and retract into the table's body. With the leafs retracted into the body the table measures approximately 62" long, 38" ... morewide, and 30 1/2" tall. Each leaf adds another 17" in length to the table. Which means it can be made to extend up to 96" 8 ft in length. Chairs: There are a total of 6 chairs. One of the chairs has significant damage(broken dowel) Which the rest have light- moderate wear. Structurally, 5 out of the 6 of them are fine. The seats definitely need to be replaced/ re-fabricated though. One of the six chairs is a captain's chair. Sideboard: The sideboard measures approximately 66" wide. 36" tall, and 20" from front to back. It has ornate scrolling on it which matches that of the designs on the hutch. There is a light crack on the front right corner(can be seen in the photos) The doors stick a little bit and could be adjusted slightly. Hutch: The hutch measures approximately 62" tall. 38 wide, and 17" from front to back. The original handles are missing for the drawer on the bottom portion so I put a couple of pulls in their place. The chairs are a classic period style in solid oak. Including the two end chairs having classic winged backs and armrests-unlike the 4 on the sides. Set of EIGHT Antique Rush-Seated Oak Dining Chairs
When I had these chairs appraised. The dealer said that based on their construction, the type of screw on the undersides, etc, that they were probably made in the 1890s. I think they are closer to the 1920s, based on the house they come from. They are in entirely original condition. They have had no repairs or alterations. They remain sturdy. They need cosmetic attention: refinishing or painting. Re-rushing on at least three of the seats. One of the chairs has a big chip at the base of one of the legs. Two of the chairs have a piece of pink sticker over the backs. 34" high(back) 18" high(seat) 18.5" seat depth. 17.5 seat width. Feel free to ask questions or request additional photos.
