This is in good condition for age and does have normal wear and tear for its age. The fabric is in good shape, not known if original or not. The Table is 38" wide, 62" long when extension are put away and 96" with the open extensions. The Side Board is 66" long, 21" wide and about 37.5" high. It has 2 end doors, 1 large bottom middle drawer with silverware holder and 1 smaller center to drawer. It also has a glass top that sits on top of it. There are 6 chairs only 1 has arms. This set has a lot of detail carvings in all spots of it. This looks to have been well cared for but does have normal scratches and fades in the wood from use. I am selling these gorgeous French Gothic style antique chairs. They are in great condition. Very sturdy and solid and newly reupholstered in a rich cream fabric. I believe they are oak, but I am not sure of my woods. Dimensions are 41" high, 20" wide, 20" deep, and 18" seat height. They have beautiful carvings and finials and the wide seats are very comfortable. I love them but I think I need plain chairs for my ornate table that you see in the photos. A fine English Victorian dining room table with six balloon back matching chairs. Circa 1850-1870's. Made of Mahogany. The table measures approximately 55 inches long x 52 inches wide x 29 inches high. There are two 20 inch leaves(look at the picture with the added leaves showing some warpage) that can be added via a crank mechanism making a maximum length of 95 inches(nearly eight feet long) The rectangular top has rounded corners and a beveled edge. The four legs have a turned bulbous design at the top and bottom with a vertical fluted design between. Porcelain and brass castors are at the bottom. The six side chairs measure 35 inches high x 19 1/2 inches long x 16 1/2 inches deep. The floral tapestry upholstery is in good condition, one chair has a few worn spots as shown in the photos. This set has been in the family since it was originally purchased back in the 1930s. Passed down to children 3 times over and moved out to L.A. The set has been gently handled and respected with every ownership. Unfortunately. It does not fit the style of the new house. Matching server, china cabinet, 5 chairs plus one head of table chair with arms and a 6 person table. We have looked everywhere to try and find some sort of marking to tell us who the maker was and looked all over websites and had a semi-expert look at it and we just couldn't find anything. Beautiful set of six antique. Mid 1800s, walnut dining chairs made in France in the Henry II style. I purchased these chairs and other furniture several years ago at an estate auction of a family that emigrated to the US in the 1920s. The chairs are in very good antique condition. They were reupholstered long ago in a very good quality tan hide. The original decorative nails appear to have been reused. All of the chairs are useable as is. Some of the seats are more firmly sprung than others and some show more wear. Some of the chairs have some looseness. This is to be expected with items this old. All of the joints are mortise and tenon. Some regluing may be required to get them rock solid. A very nicely carved set. Hand made quality of this type is hard to find in new furniture. Description. This listing is for a set of 4 dining chairs. Manufactured by Raymond Smith, Shippensburg Pa. They used woods like cherry, walnut, mohogany and maple, but we do not know what this wood is. Beautiful carved backs. The seats are covered with what seems the original vinyl. A little history: In 1912 when the carriage and sleigh demand started to lag. J. Raymond Smith left working for thr Thrush and Stough Carriage Factory and started to make red cedar chests in a shop at 336 East King Street. In the years that followed. Raymond expanded his shop and added solid walnut, maple and wild cherry furniture to the cedar chests which he continued to make on into the 1920's. Condition: Lots of surface imperfections. They were regularly used until last year; they need work. If I were keeping them, I'd have them refinished, have the rush seats replaced, and replace the metal thingies that go on the bottom of each leg.

We have used it well over the years so it does have some dings and scrapes, but still an amazing set. The chair seats were recovered so are not original. Mid century antique dining table with 4 chairs
The manufacturer is Foster Mc David. There is a stamp on the table and one of the arm chairs has a paper with the manufacturer's details. The whole set has a beautiful reddish wood tone. The dining table has 2 extensions to make it longer. The table measures 59.84 inches x 42.12 inches(without 2 extensions) It extends to 83.46 inches with the extensions. This set has 4 chairs: two arm chairs and 2 armless chairs. Seats are off white vinyl. Please note: The wicker on one of the arm chairs is torn on its back and the wicker on the back of the other arm chair is in a fragile stage(almost torn) We were told it is easily fixable.

10 Antique. Kittinger Williamsburg Adaptation, dining chairs we purchased from an antique dealer in Philadelphia recently. We are downsizing our house so need to sell and haven't reupholstered the chairs. Chairs have older raspberry fabric without holes but will need to be reupholstered and some would need to be tightened or re-glued. The are upholstered chairs with mortise and tenon joints. All sales are final. Remember these are antiques so will come with the usual dings and scratches on the legs. All can be refurbished.
