The dimensions are 38" tall by 24" wide by 19" deep. The seat height is approximately 19 1/2" with very comfortable cushy seats. Designed by Niels Koefoeds. 2 arm chairs and 6 side chairs. This is a true matching set. Leather upholstery which I believe is original. I do not see any signs of re-upholstery. The complete set is solid and in excellent structural condition with original seat boards and no evident repairs. Some use and age is showing. There is a separation in the laminated wood on one leg. The upholstery shows use and age with some spots. Darkening and scuffs but is still in decent condition. The chairs are very comfortable and beautifully designed. These are classic Danish Modern. Drexel Heritage Dining Table + 8 Chairs
Nearly impossible to find Drexel Heritage dining set. It's from their Sketchbook series. Superior construction. SOLID fruitwood and burl wood. They simply do not make this quality anymore. The table is very. Very heavy and the legs are approx. 6 inches thick. The top of the table is a Burlwood square pattern. You also get two leaves that extend it to accommodate 10 chairs. The 8 chairs(6 plus two arm chairs) are expertly hand painted. Solid fruit wood and recently re upholstered in a taupe/ivory color windowpane print material. The re upholstery was also using high quality expensive material. This has been lovingly cared for since my parents purchased it in 1978. We had many family meals and celebrations on it.
