Original tags still attached-reads-made ... moreby Bernhardt Furniture Co. Lenoir, North Carolina-the underside of the table is also stamped: Oval Table-Cherry-29-etc. Made of Cherry wood-medium, chestnut brown stain allows for much of the grain in the wood to show. Set consisted of table with removable center piece-5 regular chairs and one captain's chair with arms-hutch and buffet. I bought these 20 years ago and now am getting different furniture. I had the seats professionally reupholstered long ago to match my decor(olive green/goldish print)I have always kept seat pads on the chairs when in use-so the seats are in great condition. Table measures 58" x 40" x 30 1/2" tall-with an additional center piece that measures 12" wide. The Hutch is 47" x 15" x 70" tall. The Buffet is 57" x 17 1/2" x 30 1/3" tall. Overall very nice condition-normal wear for being 84 years old. Some things I would mention are that the wood color of the center piece section is darker than the rest of the table, it was like that when I bought it-possible meant for contrast or maybe because it was stored out of the light)also a slice of the corner wood has broken off as can be seen the the picture-back rt corner of section. Also-a bit of wood had chipped off the top corner of the table leg(tiny but I mention it to be exact-not seen from the top) The legs screw off with attachment bolts to remove them for storage. Also, one chair missing a decorative wood curve on front leg-shown in pic. Also- scratch on table top-6" and 1 1/2"shown in last pic. If I missed something-please ask. The color of the hutch in the first pic is the true color-rich and beautiful. Vintage Tell City Indiana "Young Republic" Rock Maple China Cabinet Buffet Hutch
Hello& Welcome, Here's a truly beautiful 1971. Vintage Tell City Dining Room Hutch with buffet that's in very good condition. It has its original glass and all hardware's original too and, in great condition. However, it does have a couple of small blemishes, with the most visible& largest being on the hutch counter top. If you'll look at the photo's closely you'll see a"bare" spot. The veneer in this spot section is still intact and in good condition so this should be easily repairable by a woodworker. Also, the top trim piece on one end has been cracked and glued back together with wood glue. This may be seen in photo#6 and it too could be easily repaired better by a woodworker. This happened when a couple of my family members decided to move the hutch without removing the top section from the bottom, ... morewhich is easily done. But, they didn't do it and thus cracked the top trim. This piece has been in my family since 1971 and kept in a smoke and animal free home ever since. Other than these two repairable spots it's in very good condition for its age, with only a few other very, very slight blemishes/scratches/marks, etc. on it. The spots noticeable in the first photo and in a couple other photo's are from my camera and are not on the hutch. The hutch measures approximately 71" high, 52" wide& 19 1/4" deep. The top section measures 38" high, 52" wide and 14 3/8" deep. The bottom part measures 33" high, 52" wide and 19 1/4" deep. For auction is a VINTAGE HALL'S LIFETIME DOLL FURNITURE CHINA CABINET BUFFET HUTCH DOLL FURNITURE. This was from the 60's and it was mine and I played with it. It has been packed away for a very long time. It is what I believe to be Maple but I am not sure but it is the color of maple. It is in very good condition for it's age. The legs are tight the little cabinet below shuts well and the knobs on the little doors are all there. It has one little shelf on top. It is really adorable. It needs to be cleaned some but not in bad shape at all. It is approx. nine" tall and approx. 7" wide and approx. 3 1/2" deep. It has some scuffs which I believe it normal for it's age. Here is an absolutely terrific mid-century dining set recently imported to the US from Scotland through Edinburgh and ready for use in your home today. This delightful set includes a terrific sideboard with hutch top. Drop leaf oval dining table and six gorgeous wood chairs with dated seat cushions that snap to the underside of the frames, also all well made with beautiful lines, tight joints and all 8 pieces in very nice condition as shown in my multiple pictures. The drop leaf oval dining table in it's 44 1/2 inches long by only 25 inches wide by 30 inches tall size with both sides down offers convenient storage options against a wall or as a console or small dining table. With one leaf flipped open in place the table is 36 1/2 inches wide and with a flat side can be used against a wall in a snug space. In it's full 49 inches long ... morewith both leaves open in place by 44 1/2 inches wide size. All six of the dining chairs fit comfortably under the table with plenty of room for your guest to eat. The top has a few minor surface scratches but none discolored or major scratches, dents or gauges and it's sleek carved legs give this piece beautiful simple lines and again, make it a bit special. The wonderful sideboard with step back hutch top measures 47 inches long by 75 inches tall by 18 inches deep front to back at the base and 8 inches deep at the top section. It travels in two pieces. The base 47 inches long by 34 inches tall by 18 inches front to back. The hutch top measures 44 inches long by 41 inches tall by 8 inches front to back. There are two fixed shelves, the first 5 inches deep and 12 inches above the base top, which has a cut in grooved plate rail for displaying china on the back of the base top as well as the two shelves, also as shown. The second fixed shelf is 24 inches above the base and 4 inches front to back.
