An ebonized wood hanging cabinet. About 37 inches by 17.5 inches by 10 inches. Attributable to Kimbel and Cabus of New York in about the 1870's. This cabinet has a gallery top with an asymetric back. A compartment with original hardware and beveled glass, a left side tall gallery and an under shelf. It is in good condition with some small losses to the surface such as may be seen in photo#7. The surface of the piece is in original condition and has not been refinished. There are hanging brackets on the back. One appears to have been repositioned at some time in the past. There are no breaks or alterations apart from this repositioned hanging bracket. The cabinet features incised ornamentation in the Aesthetic style. It is unsigned. This cabinet was owned by Dr. Sidney Krawitz of Mitford. Pennslyvania, author of the definitive Tax Atlas, ... moreand the First Public Defender in Pikes County, Pennsylvania, as well as being solicitor to Milford Borough and later the President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. This lovely corner cabinet comes in two pieces. The lovely stand with small drawer stands 36 inches tall and appears to have been made for this particular cupboard, as it fits perfectly as shown in my photo's where the two pieces join. Here is a rare opportunity to own a real piece of history with this early 1800’s hand made. One of a kind spice cabinet. Please look at all the pictures and you can see the way this cabinet is made. There are no screws, bolts or nails in it. Each of the 8 drawers have a letter E and a number stamped into it which corresponds to which hole it goes in. You can not change the drawers around as each one only fits the hole it was made for. It appears to be in it’s original condition and I believe the warm wood is a wormy chestnut with beautiful grains in it. It measures 28 ½ long, 15 in wide, 6in deep. Each drawer is 6 in x 5 in. English Chippendale Broken Arch Hanging Corner Cabinet or Cupboard Blind Doors. Late 18th Century c. 1780-1800 Item# 130001GHP27 This is a very fine solid mahogany English Chippendale Hanging Antique Corner Cabinet or Cupboard with a Broken-Arch Pediment. Crafted during the last quarter of the 18th Century c. 1780-1800. Of outstanding construction. It features thick planed and carved crown molding along the Broken-Arch, raising the visual plane of the cabinet quite intensely to culminate in a turned finial over a plinth scroll cut of the solid. The sides of the case bevel to soften the edge before joining the wall, these flanking two blind doors. The doors are constructed using a through-tenon mortised frame locking in the inset chamfered panels. Each with shapely notched crests and edged by cockbead molding, both functioning smoothly on ... moreoriginal brass hinges. Inside of the doors, the original hardware remains untouched, the hand forged iron latch on the left door locking the panel in place, the original steel lock on the right door still in place. The interior is four shelves, all but the second-to-top shelf backed by a silk upholstery. The back of the case is entirely dovetail construction. The quarter-sawn oak secondary woods locking into the top and bottom boards without the use of nails or screws. Over the years, this has placed some strain on the back-most corners, as the oak is not thick enough to create an indestructible joint, resulting in some light cracking and looseness where the two boards come together. The cabinet is meant to be mounted using multiple screws through the backboards, coupled with the original hanging tabs at the top of the cabinet on both sides. This is a simply gorgeous antique corner cabinet that can pull together any formal and classically oriented part of your home. The pine on the back shows excellent age, there are some old worm holes, and the patina is so darkened that a simply scratching clearly reveals the original color of the pine. The cabinet appears to have always been a hanging piece. Rather than a later conversion. It has a decorative skirt on the top, which matches the bottom skirt. Antique Hanging Corner Cupboard Make an offer! It doesn't hurt to try. Beautiful old hanging corner cupboard. Made of solid wood(not sure the type) with original finish. The cabinet is not too heavy so this maybe me a medium density wood. The top of the cabinet has 2 small pieces of wood that have been replaced. There must have been some significant damage at some point that needed to be repaired. Also. There is a very minor repair to the wood where the hinges of the door are attached. It looks as though someone swung the door open too fast and partially popped them at one point. This area has been repaired and is not really that noticeable unless you are looking for it. There is one shelf inside that is thinner and in two pieces. It holds things securely. This is an original old vintage authentic patent model number 100663 by Levi Pierce March 8. 1870 Charleston Massachusetts. The patent was for suspending mirrors on furniture. What you get is a 12 inch by 8.5 inch handmade would China cabinet with partial original patent office tag. Unfortunately there's a missing parts which is the pieces that show the actual patent. There's still the original model hinges that the mirror holders went on. Great looking Grain Painted Hanging Meat/Pie Safe-Primitive cupboard,cabinet
This hanging meat safe is a great primitive and can be either hung up as it was originally used or free standing as you see it. Years ago meat was stored in a cool basement but was hung high to keep out animals. This one is grain painted in a gold or light oak looking finish. There is wear to the paint since it is so old. There are also some stains to the top surface. It is constructed of pine with screen on 2 sides and the single door. The tabs at the top have holes for threading a pipe through for hanging. The back is constructed of horizontal boards. Measurements are 36" high including the tabs. 31" wide and 18" deep. The shelves are slatted for air circulation and are removable. Vintage/Antique? Florentia Gilt Toleware Hanging Box/Cabinet Hinged Door Italy
For your consideration we are offering this lovely gold gilt toleware box/cabinet from Italy. The hinged box has two hooks on the back for hanging on the wall. The box has a wonderful patina which comes only from age. This is a recent find from a local estate combined moving sale. The box had a hanging tag on it identifying the piece as belonging to grandma unreadable name. I do not have an age for this piece. The box is lined with red cloth which appears to be felt. I do not know if this lining is original. The door of the small box/cabinet has a lovely cream toleware with a branch and lyre accented with gold gilt on the center design and along the edge. The body of the box has the same pattern and gold gilt. This box has not been cleaned to protect the patina. The box has wear from age. See photo's. Interior shelves and original shabby romantic/French Shabby Country decals from the 1930's- 1940's era. Measuring approx. 16-1/8" wide x 13" tall x 3-3/8" deep. The original hooks are on the back to attach to the nails in your wall or you could put a wire piece through the hooks and hang it like a picture frame. There are fixed shelves in the cabinet, height space of each shelf is 3-1/2" on the bottom, 3-1/4" high on the middle shelf. Each door measures approx. 7-5/8" x 6-3/4" just to give you an idea. It has added storage space as well as being very decorative. I believe this is original paint with original decals of a bird, a Victorian girl& boy(lovers) with flower clusters. The decals are sealed over with a clear matt finish so they never got chipped or peeled. This little piece is sound! Condition is very good for its age. It does have some tiny shabby chips on the paint that only add beauty to it. The construction is solid. The wood is clean and has no cracks or broken pieces. Antique Hanging Corner Cupboard Cabinet Blue Paint Mirror Primitive SE PA to start a new paragraph use- This is a charming old"make do" fancy piece out of Southeastern Pennsylvania. It's a heavy piece and the frame looks to be constructed out of second hand hard wood crating boards; the boards are 3/4" thick. There is old paint on it. Looks to be several coats of paint on the front from over the years, none of them new. There is plaster molding trim framing the outside edges of the front and framing the door opening. That's what makes it a"fancy" make do piece) This piece is solid and sturdy. There is light chipping of the paint on the front exposing some of the plaster in the molding. And overall age to the painted surface, the door closes easily but there is a slight gap at the top, there are also some gaps ... morein the boards. The mirror is old and has some losses on the back, but all are small and it's perfect with this piece. The mirrored glass is beveled on one side only opposite the door handle and was probably taken from an old mirror. I'd never replace it. Fancy metal pull that was also painted over at some point. These type pieces are getting very hard to find and this came up in a small shop here in PA. It's a one of a kind. This is not a typical offering from us, but I just couldn't resist it. And it's been confirmed as fabulous from all the"ooooh and ahhhh" comments since I brought it home, even from members of my household who arent' into antiques so much. The unboxed weight is about 22lbs(shipping weight about 27lbs) Measures Approximately 27 inches tall, the front is 16 inches across, the two back side boards are 12 inches across forming a"V" in the back, the cabinet is 10 inches deep at the widest point from the center of the"v" to the front, with one small shelf inside. The bottom is flush, and this will stand on the floor as shown or could be displayed on top of a table or other piece you may have to complement it.

ANTIQUE OAK WOOD COUNTER-TOP OR HANGING CUPBOARD This is an outstanding example of a primitive antique oak wood table/counter top or hanging cupboard. It was removed from a Hanover County Virginia estate. It measures 26-3/4" tall x 14-1/8" wide x 6" deep. Made in the early 20th century. It features a darkened and worn dovetailed case, a single door with a reverse beveled panel, the original brass hinges and knob/latch on the door, a clean interior with four shelves that have from 3-3/4" 9" clearance between them, and a back with two holes for easy hanging. This is a primitive cupboard. But aside from general wear remains in very good condition. The lock is missing, thus the hole just below the latch. Vintage Half Round Curved Glass Wall Hanging Oak Curio Cabinet
This is a really nice oak. Curved glass curio cabinet in very good vintage condition. It has two shelves of thin oak(top shelf is warped a bit- see photos) The front, curved glass door has a slight warp on the left. The door catch works well. All the wood is dark stained oak. It can be hung on the wall or stand alone. It has been in my family for many years and was kept in a smoke free home. It weighs 7 lbs. 4 ounces. It stands 19 ¾” tall x 12 ½” wide x 6 ¼” deep.
