I suspect, they could be unscrewed, wet, flattened gradually, maybe some surface molding applied, then a new paint treatment, and this would be an AMAZING cabinet. The knobs are in good condition with no cracks but there are some tiny chips mostly on the bottom edge or underneath. One of the large ones has a flake out underneath by the hole for the hardware. Antique Vintage Metal Kitchen Cabinets 'American' Sink + 5 Cabinets 1950's

Here is a suite of metal cabinets that were removed from a 1950's-era kitchen. Made by'American Kitchens' There is a sink with base, as well as(5) upper cabinets in different sizes. These will need a bit of work to be refinished, as there are some dents and rust present. The sink top is a stamped steel piece(not cast iron) with a porcelain enamel finish. All of the cabinets have a wood-grain contact paper on them, though it does peel off! The sink base is rusty where ... morethe water supply/drain was located. And the kick has some glue residue from the old rubber moulding that was removed. One of the doors is badly dented and one of the drawers has a slight ding(see pics) The porcelain is in decent shape except for a small rust spot and a spot of missing enamel in one of the basins(see pics) The faucet trim is slightly pitted, and the spout looks like a replacement. There is no sprayer, the hole is plugged(see pics) The valves open and close freely. One of the upper cabinets also has a slightly bent door. But the rest are straight. There is also a small flourescent light that's included that attaches to the underside of the smallest cabinet(it was directly over the sink) All of the upper cabinets have adjustable shelves. These are units for different rooms. The kitchen unit consists of a range with overhead(nothing underneath this) and oven. The oven door is explained under"Condition. The unit is about 1 5/8" wide. 1 1/4" deep, and 3 1/2" high. The bathroom unit is a sink with cabinets underneath. The cabinets do not open. This unit measures about 1 5/8" wide, 1 3/8" deep, and 2 1/2" high. Please note that the color is a little off in the photos. The yellow is actually a little darker, like mustard-not as dark as the orange in the backs of both units, but in-between the orange and the yellow.

The best cabinet has a back in it and is 6'6 1/2" tall x 43" across x 17" deep. This cabinet has 4 drawers on bottom and 3 shelves on bottom with glass doors. Second Cabinet is not in condition and does not have a back in it plates around bottom need replacing and some of top shelves. It has 3 bottom shelves with solid doors and top has 3 shelves and glass doors. It is the same size as the other cabinet. These were custom cabinets that came out of a house in Mt. Brook. Alabama in mid 2000. Have been used as display in store building since and have gotten some water damage. But could be repaired and use.

Vintage Metal Kitchen Wall Cabinets, most with Glass Doors
I purchased these 5 cabinets from an estate. They have been painted several times and may have been avocado originally. I cleaned and repainted each of these cabinets and installed them in my apartment less than a year ago. I am now moving out of state and need to sell them off. There is some rust damage that I cleaned and painted over. But generally none is visible with the shelf liners in place(I will include the shelf liners, they were a pain to cut, so that will save the next owners some work. They are clean and washable spongy liners) Each cabinet has a removable metal panel in the bottom shelf. They taper in from top to bottom. And have rounded edges. The glass is frosted and horizontally ribbed. The door tracks are wooden. 3 cabinets have 2 unbroken door panels, 1 cabinet only has one door panel(I did not install, it needs to be cleaned ... moreup, see pic) and the refrigerator cabinet has one unbroken panel, and 1 panel I had to glue together. The glued panel has held up well since I installed; functional, but not the most attractive. They are easy to install. Each cabinet has a metal bracket(see picture) that needs to be secured to the wall. Then the cabinets are hung on the brackets. There are 2 screw holes inside each cabinet that can be used to further secure the cabinets to the wall. Dimensions: 2 = 24"Wx30"Hx15"D(at deepest point near top) 2 = 21"Wx30"Hx15"D. 1 = 30"Wx18"Hx15"D.

These have chrome handles that have a streamline design w/ pushing mechanism for secure fit/closing. Measurements: 21" long x 30" tall x 13" deep There are TWO cabinets with single doors that swing to left and one that swings out to right. Also having chrome handles. At the end of these cabinets are attached half moon shelving. These feature ... morechrome rods that link the shelves. Chrome edging and yellow laminate covers. For Your Consideration: Capital Cabinets in Primrose. These cabinets were purchased from Central Hardware in the 1950's. These art metal with a scratch resistant pink splatter finish. I will add a close up pic of finish ASAP. My parents bought these cabinets because the salesman took his key and scratched the front all the way across and didn't leave a mark. My parents figured they would survive a family. In all honesty we only removed them because a realtor said he couldn't sell a house with a pink kitchen. These cabinets will be around longer than the new ones that were put in. The fronts need a good cleaning but are great. The inside and cabinet sides need refinished. They are not finished like the doors and fronts. The inside of drawers are missing some paint in backs mostly where utensils have been rubbing them.
