I suspect, they could be unscrewed, wet, flattened gradually, maybe some surface molding applied, then a new paint treatment, and this would be an AMAZING cabinet. Made from solid oak this lovely piece is hugely multi-functional and will work in any room you need storage in. A single door armoire with turned and reeded column supports to either ... moreside of the mirror door. There is a drawer underneath with a slide to keep out dust. And four(4) adjustable shelves inside with another drawer under one of the shelves. The finish is original and a good mid-brown colour with a lovely mellow patina which has developed over many years of loving use. There is a twin bolt lock which is still operable. This is a tall armoire with a height of 226cm(just under 8 foot) and is 107cm in width. The armoire is 57cm deep. The interior shelves each measure 96cm in length and are 38cm deep. This armoire is in good condition and the only issue is some spotting to the mirror. Which is so"in" today. It is possible that the back of the mirror has been replaced at some stage during its lifetime of approximately 115 years. However, age-appropriate wear and character marks should be expected. Soft original patina in a deep honey colour with strong grainlines, standing on small solid turned feet. Definitely vintage, we would date this piece to c1940. This lovely piece features 2 drawers and two doors. Opening to a single large cupboard with a central fixed, but removable shelf, providing a huge storage area. One of the drawers is ... morefelt lined with cutlery divides. The sideboard has a delightful wave-form backboard, and lovely applied geometric carving. There are also shaped and carved features to the front side panels. This little piece is a real stunner! The sideboard is in lovely vintage condition. With original fittings. The internal cupboard and drawers are all clean, and ready for immediate use.There is evidence internally of where some old contact has been removed, leaving an an even finish. Of no real consequence. This gorgeous piece measures 150.5cm wide. 71cm high to the surface area and 83cm in overall height, including the backboard. It is 57cm deep. It would be ideal in the loungeroom as a TV stand or sideboard, or in the dining room or family room as an impressive storage unit! This is an absolute bargain price for such a lovely.
