Two Peavey Speaker Cabinet Bar Handles With Screws Used
You are looking at two used Peavey bar handles with screws of an older bass cab which I dont have anymore. The dimensions are 6 7/8 by 8 1/4. The cut out is 5 1/8 by 6 3/8. Thease are plastic with medal bars. Before I trashed the cab I measured the cut away and those dimensions are 5 1/4 by 6 3/4. There is one crack in one of them which wont affect it when its screwed down. There also was a decal on one of them which I removed. Sorry I do not ship outside of U S. Please do not ask. This came from England and has a metal plate on the front that says“This cabinet and its contents is the property of The Office Clean Towel Hire Co. Ltd. and is on loan to the user as custodian bailee. The oak cabinet is approx. 22 3/8” x 16” x 5 ¾” It has three shelves. The top section I used to hold Kleenex tissues. I especially like the door with the Red Cross symbol. It has Initial Office of First Aid Outfit painted on it. There are ventilation holes at the top and bottom of the cabinet. Some of the silver is lightly worn on the mirror which gives it that vintage charm I so love. The original finish is in excellent ... morevintage aged condition. There is a split in one section of the wooden towel bar which is not usual for it vintage age and usage. It can be hung with the two round hooks at the top. It is very heavy so use wall anchors with your screws to safely secure it to the wall. The wood backing on the inside that covers the mirror has a couple of gouges in the wood. You could remove the backing and replace the mirror with glass if you wanted to use it as a display case. I purchased this charming antique medicine cabinet from an antique store in 1983. I haven’t seen another one like this one since. I filled it with vintage toiletries and hung it in my powder room. Everyone always complimented me on this beautiful piece. I have recently remodeled. I went online to see if the dates were right, and saw that the competition– if they had one this nice- is selling cabinets just like this one for more than $3000! This one is priced far more reasonably and is clean and in great condition. When the two shapely burl walnut doors on top are opened, it reveals a birch interior with a full mirrored back, a mirrored bottom shelf, and a pullout tray for cutting up lemons and other fruit that’s mirrored. There are racks and shelves on both sides, and there is a place where another shelf could be put, and it is lighted, although it came out of England so it would have to be rewired to meet U.S. safety standards. The top cabinet doors close, and there is a double latch on the left-hand side, while on the right-hand side there is a lock that does come with a key, but we don’t guarantee that any of these old keys or locks will work perfectly unless they are cleaned and tested. The key opens the bottom door, which has a shelved interior behind the right-hand door. Great wooden bar from the 1960's. I used it in my store for parties but have to close the store and need to sell. Two level bar has a bottom level for storage and a top level that opens up to serve drinks and store glasses.
