Sellers Hoosier Style Cabinet Parts BOTTOM CABINET DOOR COMPLETE
I have a Sellers hoosier style cabinet that I am selling off all the parts. Everything except for the upper and lower cabinet frame and drawers is available. Including all hardware, doors, flour bin, tambour(rolling door) enamel work surface with wood framing and the brackets which the upper cabinet is attached to the lower. Feel free to contact me with specific questions on any of the above. This auction is for the original door for the bottom cabinet complete with wood bin. Wire rack and original hinges. The door measures about 22 by 19 1/2 niches. The inside measurement is about 21 1/4 by 18 7/8 inches. The wood bin on the top inside is about 19 3/8 long by 3 1/4 deep by 2 1/8 inches high. The hinge side will need some attention, is attached, but away from the door. The white wire rack measures about 19 1/2 inches long by 8 1/2 inches ... morehigh by 3 1/4 inches deep, is in overall very good condition. Has some minor bends but still holds its shape. I believe the two hinges are original and I have left them on the door. Rare to find all the parts in one place in such good condition. Overall, a very good replacement part. Vintage Sellers Hoosier Tin Flour Sifter with Bracket Mounting Hardware Cover
This flour sifter unit is in very nice condition and functions great. I removed it from a Sellers Hoosier cabinet. It was mounted in the upper unit inside the leftmost door. It has the original mounting hardware which allows the sifter to swing down. And out, to use it. The original cap for the outlet is also present as is the lid. The bottom cap is usually missing on these sifters as they could easily be misplaced or lost. The paint is yellowed and there are some spots of rust but it is mostly clean and just needs to be cleaned up. The inside looks rust free. This piece came off the cabinet at the top where the tambour door disappears into the cabinet. It retains the Sellers oval name plate. It looks like the plate has been repainted/lettering by hand. Don’t know what it looks like under the paint. The strip measures 39 ¾” long by 1 5/8” wide and is ½” thick. Looks like a tight grained hard wood such as beech or maple. I will include the original screws it was secured with. I removed it from a Sellers Hoosier cabinet. This oak tambour door(garage style door/cover) is in good original condition. As-found. I removed it from a Sellers Hoosier cabinet. It may have been painted at one time but I am not certain of this. It measures 39 5/16” wide by 12 ¾” and is 3/8” thick. The tambours are backed with canvas strips which allow the flexibility to bend around. It seems to be securely attached to the wood. Vintage Sellers Hoosier Door Hinges Center Door Frame Mount Mounted Upper Unit
These hinges came off the middle door(of three doors) from the upper unit of a Sellers Hoosier cabinet. These hinges have a stop incorporated into the knuckle to limit the opening of the center door to about 90°. These hinges measure about 2” by 1 ½” when opened. They are plated steel. Screws are not included. I removed these from a Sellers Hoosier cabinet. I salvaged all the usable pieces from the cabinet this came out of so if you are looking for other parts have a look. Rare Black Fire-On Sellers Sugar Jar and Spice Set. The jar is in great overall condition. Color is very good and glossy. However, there is a chip on the lip that is about half an inch long, but it does not affect the look of the jar because it gets covered by the daisy lid. There are 3 small spice jar shakers, the paint is in good condition but not as glossy as the big jar. There is a tiny chip to the lip of one of the jars, but overall in good condition. No scratches but paint is a bit faded in some areas of the small jars, look at pictures for details. Some dents to small lids. Sellers Cabinet Hoosier Style Flour Sifter Wood Oak Slag Stained Glass Windows
A fine example of the Hoosier style cabinet so popular in the early part of the last century. Oak and mixed woods construction with amber slag glass in the top cabinet doors. The sifter is intact and working. The tambour side-rolling doors are missing. And the latch to the center top door was replaced at some point with a hook and eye that works quite well for the purpose. As in many of these cabinets, the trays are missing from the bottom large cupboard and the sliding top is gone from the metal bread drawer. The cabinet measures 70" tall by 40" wide and 24" deep when the porcelain top is slid back, about 30-32" when it is slid out to make a larger work surface. c. 1924 Vintage Hoosier Sellers Triple-Skip Cookie Jar with Original Stand and Reproduction Lid For sale is a vintage Hoosier sugar jar in very good condition with the original metal stand and a replacement(tin) lid. The triple-skip pattern was produced by Sellers Glass between 1924 and 1930. The glass has a number of bubbles of varying sizes. Some minor hairlines and a small“as made” flaw about ¾” long. The base is free of any counter friction marks or abrasion, which is rare. The Sellers“S” appears on 2 sides of the sugar jar. The base has some embedded text, which looks like“PAT. APLD. and“1-1924” The open edge has 2 very small areas of roughness but is otherwise smooth to the touch. The original 3-point metal stand is in excellent condition. 1924 SELLERS "Klearfront" Hoosier Style Kitchen Cabinet - Totally Restored
1924 Sellers Klearfront Kitchen Cabinet. Just completed restoration a couple of months ago. Everything you see on this cabinet is original to it. Including all the hardware, racks, side brackets, Flour Bin& Sifter, Steel casters w/Ant Traps(Inscribed"Sellers" the porcelain Work Pan, Meat Grinder Bracket, etc. etc. The cabinet was stripped to bare wood. Primed, and painted with high quality Benjamin Moore Oil Based Paint(Satin finish) The colors are: Chantilly Lace, and Duxbury Gray in the event you want to stop by a Benjamin Moore store and looks at the chips. Structurally. The cabinet is 100% sound. No wobble, nothing about to fall apart. All original back on the top and the bottom. Original Sellers stenciling still on the back. The drawer is made with an oak wood front and tin bottom& sides. the drawer measures 19 1/4" long. 13 3/4" wide, 9 1/2" deep, the front of the drawer measures 14 1/2" wide and 11" tall(fits an opening of 10 1/2" tall and 13 7/8" wide) The old paint has been stripped off the oak front, the metal has some rust, there is no handle, and there are dings to both the metal and wood. This auction is for this old original kitchen cabinet glass flour or sugar jar. Not sure if it was for a Hoosier/Sellers cabinet or some other cabinet maker, it is approximent 8 3/4" tall by 6 1/2" in diameter, the lips outer edge 4 7/8" inner lip 4 3/8" It has the flat side to fit up to the cabinet and it has a outer round part of jar and the inner round part, I guess to fit a holder ring is the purpose for it to be made like this. Up for sale today is a cool Antique Clear Glass Spice Jar from a Hoosier. Sellers, or Kitchen Cabinet. This jar has a ribbed design, with a shoulder around the center to hold it in a rack, and a blank spot for a label. It also has its original pressed metal or tin lid. The jar stands approx. 4 1/4" tall(including the lid) and approx. 2 1/8" in diameter at the bottom(not including the shoulder) Its in great original condition. Depression Sellers Hoosier Cabinet, clambroth, ribbed, jar
Up for bids is this unusual Depression Glass canister made as an accessory to Hoosier Cabinets. It was made by the Sellers Company. The canister is marked Sellers in great BIG letters on the bottom. It is missing its tin lid. The glass has no chips or cracks. There are many air bubbles all throughout the glass. It as manufactured between 1915-1930's. The color is called clambroth. The canister is 7 inches tall. 7 inches wide, and the width of the opening is 5 ½ inches wide. I describe& photograph each item to the best of my ability. A 4-piece set of Vintage Hoosier“Clam Broth” Jars by Sellers Glass: Large Sugar/Cookie Jar. Coffee Jar and a Pair of Shakers all with the Original Lids Here we are offering a 4-piece set of Hoosier Clam Broth jars by Sellers Glass: Cookie/Sugar with a flat. Non-threaded metal lid 1 Coffee Jar with a threaded aluminum lid 2 Shaker Jars with threaded aluminum lids Typical Hoosier jars were made between 1915 and 1930. This style was estimated to have been made circa 1925. All of the jars have the“SELLERS” logo on the bottom. This set has the rare and desirable“clam broth” finish. The Sugar or Cookie Jar: height without the lid: 7-1/4” Diameter: 6-3/4” The sugar jar is in excellent condition and has the original metal, non-threaded lid. The only thing worth noting about the glass is that there some typical roughness around the opening edge but ... morenone are deep; otherwise the glass is in great condition. The Sellers log appears on the bottom of the jar. The lid is a flat, non-threaded lid that sits on top of the opening. The lid has no detectable dents, is 99% rust-free and sits well on the jar. The Coffee Jar: height without the lid: 7-1/4” Diameter: 4-1/2” The coffee jar is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, scratches or hairlines in the glass. The edge of the opening is smooth to the touch and lacks any roughness. The coffee jar has the original aluminum with a“knurled edge” which has some original luster and has a few tiny indentations on the top. The lid screws on smoothly and tightens well; it is the correct lid for the jar. The Shaker Jars: height without the lid: 4-5/8” Diameter: 2-11/16” These 2 shaker jars are in very good shape. There are a few tiny bubbles in the glass. There are no chips or cracks but there are a few rough areas along the rims of both but nothing serious. The only issue is that the lid on 1 has some breaks between the holes, which can be seen in the photos. The other lid is without issue.
