These areas are on the sides, but at the back of the piece. The molding around the top has beautiful symmetric carved detail. There is some slight separation at the corners of the top molding. Sellers Oak Hoosier Cabinet with Etched Glass Doors
The buyer of this will be the 3rd owner. I am the 2nd owner and the original owner was of Eagle Bridge N.Y. which is Grandma Moses country. I bought it at auction on August 27. 1994. Flour bin& sifter are in excellent used condition as is the bread box. Glass is all intact and no cracks or chips. Interior paint on flour bin and interior shelves has some loss due to age and use. Latch on lower door was replaced with an original handle to replace a broken handle. Otherwise everything is original to manufacture. Manufactured approx. 1916. The Coffee. Offering this 1934 Sellers Kitchen Cabinet. This is a three piece unit made from wood with a porcelain drop down door. The end pieces measure apprx. 18 1/2 by 70 inches by 18 inches deep. The center piece measures apprx. 40 by 70 inches by 18 inches deep. When combined the overall width is 77 inches. The cabinet is in good used condition and still very functional. It could use a good cleaning and the paint is faded and peeling a bit the previous owner also painted the cabinet on the left when she did this she covered the black deco on it. Oak SELLERS Kitchen Cabinet Slag Glass Painted Not Hoosier
Painted Sellers cabinet with caramel slag glass in the top doors. This cabinet is oak underneath the paint. Some later cabinets came from the factory painted. This one was oak and painted later. It has the original tambour roll. There is a drawer above the roll. It needs some hardware. Including the hinges and latch on the base. The long sifter door need a hinge, as well as latches. I am including one"S" latch. All the hardware is available online. There are no warped panels. Measurements are: 40" W 62" H 28" D. Original porcelain top with 2 pull out drawers. A genuine 1930's-40's era Sellers hoosier-type kitchen piece. Originally purchased by my grandmother and passed along to me. This piece has been carefully& close to)professionaly restored.cleaned. Sanded, primed and finished with white enamel. Body is in great shape.there is a wrinkle in the bottom shelf piece, but I left that alone.it gives the piece a little character! Antique Sellers Hoosier Cabinet made in Elwood, Indiana
A handsome and sturdy antique kitchen cabinet by Sellers. Made in Elwood, Indiana. The porcelain finish on the slide-out surface has a few chips but nothing major, and there are a few exterior repairs to the bottom of the upper portion which are not perfect(see photos) There have been some modifications, including a hole for an electrical wire and some structural reinforcement that does not detract from the overall appearance. When we acquired this cabinet roughly 20 years ago, I added a new, thicker plywood"floor" and some steel corner"L" braces to increase stability(not visible from the outside) The roll top is intact, functional and apparently original- but we leave it up because we don't want to wear it out. The flour bin/dispenser is in place and also seems original.

The large tin lid has some surface rust but nothing harsh and is very solid. The inside rim of the jar has some roughness consist with age& use. All pieces have the triple line skip pattern. Here is a really nice old jar from a Sellers Hoosier cabinet. It was designed to hold sugar. This is a large jar. Standing about 8 1/2 inches tall. and 8 1/2 inches wide. The jar is in perfect shape, with NO chips cracks or problems. The original lid shows most of its original paint, but does have some dings and dents. Please note these lids do not screw on the jars, they simply set on the jars. Some folks are using these still as a sugar canister, or imagine it as a fish bowl, terrarium, or in some other decorative use. A nice old jar from a local estate, you will be pleased!

For your consideration here is an Antique 1920's Hoosier Cabinet made by Sellers. Paint is not original. It has pull out porcelain table top which extends to 28" and porcelain bottom in the roll slats compartment. The porcelain in the great vintage condition! The cabinet has a chip on the left foot(see pic#4) little gap between the right drawer and the carcass when it is closed(pic#8) Also a gap between left door and the carcass(pic# 9) which can be fixed by adding a cabinet's magnet. The cabinet has a pull-out tray which slides out by opening the door, and a tin bread box with wooden lid. Cabinet comes apart into two pieces. Measurements are: 70 1/2"H. There are some small areas of flaking around the doors and a few scuffs here and there but overall in great condition. The 2 drawers have pulls and all the cabinet doors have push button latches. Someone did spray paint on an object in front of this piece because there is overspray a little. I would call the color oyster. It measures 6' 8 1/2" tall x 42 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" deep, the top depth is 12 1/4" For the age of this it is in wonderful condition and is sound and the top part unscrews for transportation.
