The door measures about 22 by 19 1/2 niches. The inside measurement is about 21 1/4 by 18 7/8 inches. The wood bin on the top inside is about 19 3/8 long by 3 1/4 deep by 2 1/8 inches high. The hinge side will need some attention, is attached, but away from the door. Slide out porcelain over metal counter top work surface, and full set of original Sellers spice racks with larger canisters for flour and sugar or what have ya. Glassware and racks alone are worth a couple hundred, and a rare find with this cabinet. All cupboard doors and drawers are operational, bottom metal bread drawer is missing lid and showing some rust spots but still usable. Mostly all original with the exception of cupboard door hinge screws( replaced with flat head bolt and nut) new roll top door and new sliding bottom shelf. Rare Black Fire-On Sellers Sugar Jar and Spice Set. The jar is in great overall condition. Color is very good and glossy. However, there is a chip on the lip that is about half an inch long, but it does not affect the look of the jar because it gets covered by the daisy lid. There are 3 small spice jar shakers, the paint is in good condition but not as glossy as the big jar. There is a tiny chip to the lip of one of the jars, but overall in good condition. No scratches but paint is a bit faded in some areas of the small jars, look at pictures for details. Some dents to small lids. It originally would have come with a sellers kitchen cabinet to hold sugar for baking, but can be used on your counter for anything from cookies to dog bisquits! Sellers Cabinet Hoosier Style Flour Sifter Wood Oak Slag Stained Glass Windows
A fine example of the Hoosier style cabinet so popular in the early part of the last century. Oak and mixed woods construction with amber slag glass in the top cabinet doors. The sifter is intact and working. The tambour side-rolling doors are missing. And the latch to the center top door was replaced at some point with a hook and eye that works quite well for the purpose. As in many of these cabinets, the trays are missing from the bottom large cupboard and the sliding top is gone from the metal bread drawer. The cabinet measures 70" tall by 40" wide and 24" deep when the porcelain top is slid back, about 30-32" when it is slid out to make a larger work surface. 1924 Sellers Klearfront Kitchen Cabinet. Just completed restoration a couple of months ago. Everything you see on this cabinet is original to it. Including all the hardware, racks, side brackets, Flour Bin& Sifter, Steel casters w/Ant Traps(Inscribed"Sellers" the porcelain Work Pan, Meat Grinder Bracket, etc. etc. The cabinet was stripped to bare wood. Primed, and painted with high quality Benjamin Moore Oil Based Paint(Satin finish) The colors are: Chantilly Lace, and Duxbury Gray in the event you want to stop by a Benjamin Moore store and looks at the chips. Structurally. The cabinet is 100% sound. No wobble, nothing about to fall apart. All original back on the top and the bottom. Original Sellers stenciling still on the back. Offered is a HOOSIER CABINET/ SELLERS CABINET BREAD DRAWER from the base section. The drawer is made with an oak wood front and tin bottom& sides. the drawer measures 19 1/4" long. 13 3/4" wide, 9 1/2" deep, the front of the drawer measures 14 1/2" wide and 11" tall(fits an opening of 10 1/2" tall and 13 7/8" wide) The old paint has been stripped off the oak front, the metal has some rust, there is no handle, and there are dings to both the metal and wood. Up for sale today is a cool Antique Clear Glass Spice Jar from a Hoosier. Sellers, or Kitchen Cabinet. This jar has a ribbed design, with a shoulder around the center to hold it in a rack, and a blank spot for a label. It also has its original pressed metal or tin lid. The jar stands approx. 4 1/4" tall(including the lid) and approx. 2 1/8" in diameter at the bottom(not including the shoulder) Its in great original condition. Depression Sellers Hoosier Cabinet, clambroth, ribbed, jar
Up for bids is this unusual Depression Glass canister made as an accessory to Hoosier Cabinets. It was made by the Sellers Company. The canister is marked Sellers in great BIG letters on the bottom. It is missing its tin lid. The glass has no chips or cracks. There are many air bubbles all throughout the glass. It as manufactured between 1915-1930's. The color is called clambroth. The canister is 7 inches tall. 7 inches wide, and the width of the opening is 5 ½ inches wide. I describe& photograph each item to the best of my ability. Vintage Sellers Bakers Cabinet
Beautiful old sellers kitchen cabinet with built in flour sifter. Original green color with original decals on front doors. Flour bin up top is clean and glass front is intact. Sifter works great. Roll down front works great and on the back is the original metal spice rack. Bottom drawers all work great and door opens up to reveal metal shelf inside along with a metal rack on door. Enamel top is clean but does have one spot along front where enamel top has worn off from use. Cabinet is clean and sturdy throughout. Has some chipping of paint but for its age it's a beauty! This auction is for this old original kitchen cabinet glass flour or sugar jar. Not sure if it was for a Hoosier/Sellers cabinet or some other cabinet maker, it is approximent 8 3/4" tall by 6 1/2" in diameter, the lips outer edge 4 7/8" inner lip 4 3/8" It has the flat side to fit up to the cabinet and it has a outer round part of jar and the inner round part, I guess to fit a holder ring is the purpose for it to be made like this. Vintage Sellers Cabinet Left Hand Latch , Rare Find S motif Sellers Nickel Latch
Vintage Cabinet Part This is a used vintage 3/8" offset S latch off of a Sellers Cabinet. These are rare to find in useable condition. This is a old original piece in used condition. Latch seems to work. May need some adjustment moves lever but maby not as far as it originly did. This will show some wear from years of use. This will also show signs of aging. This comes with the catch and mounting screws seen in photo. This measures 2-1/4" tall. 1-1/8" wide measured across back of latch. Photos show condition fairly well. Flash makes it look a little more shiny than it is. AS many of you know that work on these cabinets the original latch is heavier and better built than the reproduction latches.
