I believe that it is made of mahogany, although it may be another type of wood. It has ... moregorgeous grain and craftsmanship. I suspect that it was once the top portion of a larger piece, but this cabinet is all that remains now. It is in remarkably good condition, with only very minimal surface scratches from general use. The cabinet has a sort of crown molding around the top. There is some small veneer loss at the back of the side edges, as can be seen in the photos. These areas are on the sides, but at the back of the piece. The molding around the top has beautiful symmetric carved detail. There is some slight separation at the corners of the top molding. This detail matches the carved details on the front trim of the door. The shelves inside are static, and do not adjust.

This double Sellers cabinet has been in use in my home for many years. It is double sized(71" H X 28" D X 48"W) Comes with a large flour bin. Sugar jar and cracker bin. The roll down section in the middle will slide but it need a new cloth backing. There is a pull out cutting board. The bottom section has 2 smaller drawers and under them are 2 other drawers one of which is a bread box. The bread box is missing the lid. Also there is a larger section for storage. This larger section has 1 large door which replaced 2 smaller origional ones. There is a slide out board for easier access to your items. This cabinet makes a great space to do any baking projects. Marsh or Sellers Kitchen Cabinet or under the top cabinet over the counter. I found a couple of these online that were NOS. They were made by Washington Line. The box states"sugar dispenser" The instructions list a flour dispenser as well. Not sure what the difference would be, but this has a flour sifter type handle at the bottom. It is in great structural condition with no damage or heavy pitting. It does have a a good bit of surface rust that should clean up with some steel wool or fine emery cloth. Measuring 10 1/2" x 16" it is in vg condition with a light crease on the top left corner and a few folds at the very top right( I did not repair it with acid free tape as it depends on which ad you like as to which you repair) Ready to frame. RARE SET OF 5 AMBER NAPANEE SELLERS HOOSIER CABINET SPICE JARS & RIBB SALT BOX
Up for bid are 5 amber hoosier jars and a ribbed amber salt box for 1 price. All pieces are in great condition. No cracks or chips. However. One of the jars looks like it has a manufactoring flaw and is sunken in a bit. Expect some wear. The paper lable(pictured) were inside one of the jars, not sure if they are original, but you get them too. Salt box is 6 1/2" long and 3 1/2" wide. Jars are 4" tall.
