A Pair of Beautiful, Antique c 1730 Dutch, Leather Paneled, Cabinets Chinoiserie
A pair of lacquered. Hardwood cabinets that were made especially for housing these incredible leather panels. They were removed from the leather upholstered walls of a Dutch nature traders study/library in Amsterdam. They are decorated in a Chinoiserie motif. They were made circa 1730. I purchased these cabinets from an antiques and decorative arts dealer on Sacramento St. in the Presidio Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. The measurements are: 42” Wide X 26” Deep X 34” Tall They are painted and lacquered Chinese Red inside. We moved from Presidio Heights to London to Florence then back to the Bay Area. I paid $8.000 each for them in the mid-90’s. These are pieces that we actually used, sometimes on a daily basis, accordingly, the cabinets reflect that amount of use and the effects of being placed in our higher-trafficked areas. GREAT PAIR OF AMERICAN WALNUT VICTORIAN STORE OR COLLECTOR CABINETS BOOKCASES
Here's a great pair of 19th century American walnut Victorian display cabinets or bookcases. They date from the 1880's and retain the original finish. Both were removed from a store in the city of Philadelphia in the 1970's and moved to a high end antique shop in the 1980's where I bought them. Each cabinet is 52 1/2 inches wide X 8 foot 8 inches tall X 14 1/4 inches deep. The depth of the adjustable glass shelves is 10 inches. Moving these cases is a very managable process because they"knock down" The tops unbolt. The doors lift off, the backs unscrew and the sides unbolt leaving the base cabinets as one piece. Very easy to dissemble and reassemble if you know the procedure. Both cabinets could be hauled in a mini-van with the seats removed. The fact that they come apart should decrease the cost of shipping. As ... morewell, these large cases could be moved almost anywhere in a home, office or building where one or two piece cabinets could not fit or make the turns. Certainly if the new owner would rather use them as bookcases instead of display or collector cabinets. The tops could simply be fitted with wooden shelving. Some notes about condition: As pictured. There is a chunk of wood absent from the bottom right side of a door. It was like this when I bought them and I never attended to it. The door works fine anyway. Also, for some unknown reason, a small piece was cut out of the bottom stile of a lower door, as pictured. Again, does not affect usability. One cabinet top has the original pannelled backboard and the other has a replaced backboard. Both backboards are painted white. NO ONE has ever noticed this. I personally think that having a pair of these cabinets is a plus. Both for decorative potential and the extent of usability for display. During my many years in the furniture trade I have often heard, It's a pair! Proud to offer these amazing cabs for sale- unloaded. The Celestion speakers have sold sorry. No speakers included! A pair of model 1983 2x12 PA cabs. Why the size difference? One cab is a few months older than the other. If you look at the old Marshall catalogues in the Michael Doyle book you will see the size of the 1983 cabs changed in 1967. They were originally 33 inches tall. Then went to 40 inches tall. The smaller cab has an extra jack added to one of the back panels. Also there are holes at the sides for a metal stand. Appears to have a very fine layer of black paint or perhaps boot polish over it. Small cut in the pinstripe material but does not penetrate through the black mesh. The larger cab is in very clean original condition. Both cabs have all their original screws and washers. Original handles. And a full set of metal feet ... moreon each cab. This Auction is for a pair of Filko Automotive Cabinets. They have wear. Some dings and some rust areas. Mainly along the bottom. The painted surface has some wear and some splatter marks on one of the cabinets. The insides look good. I have one key that works on all four of the cabinets. Nice looking pair of KEF's. If your looking at this auction you are aware that these are vintage high end speakers from the 80's. I picked these up at an estate sale and am not an audiophile so I'll describe these best I can. Due to the weight and cost of shipping these- all sales are final. I will describe them. Bid accordingly based on that. As you can see by my feedback, I am not in the business of writing bad auctions or ripping people off. I'll be upfront about what I see or hear. Ok, that said. This is a matched pair, same serial number, with A + B designation. The cabinets are all wood construction finished in Walnut from what I can find online. See measurements below. There are minor nicks or scratches on both, all pretty normal stuff you'd expect on 30 year old speakers, no major issues. The grilles are clean, ... moreone does have a ding on the bottom edge. The hold down clips are mostly gone or broken, the grills are held on with velcro, which works fine. Plugged them in and they seem to play fine, nothing unusual. Vintage Art Deco Cabinets This is a pair of vintage curio cabinets or bookshelves. They are Art Deco style with rounded corners and stacked feet. It is composed of wood with medium-tone finish. The top shelf in each cabinet is fixed. And the bottom shelf is adjustable. There are enough brackets for a third shelf if the buyer chooses to find and insert one. There are tear drop style pulls on the glass front doors. Each cabinet has the following dimensions: Height: 43 11/16" Width: 35 7/8" Depth: 10 1/2" The interior shelves measure 9 1/2" deep and 34 1/4" wide. We were unable to find any sort of a maker's mark. Only"No. 127" hand-written on the back of each. This is in great condition overall with some general signs of age or use. This is a pair of JBL SRX 715s. They are rarely seen used with good reason. If you buy them you are unlikely to part with them. I purchased them about 5 years ago. Cosmetically they are in very good shape as seen in the photos. They come with the original factory covers which were an extra 160. thank you JBL) They have only been used in my band situation in non smoking clubs. My band is 3 piece and we run a little kick drum and the 3 vocals through the PA. The cabs never saw the power they would like nor was it necessary. I ran them in stereo off a Stewart PA1800 so at 8 ohms they would have been seeing 400 watts at 8ohm. We were never able to run them that high nor was it ever necessary. That said. They are happy with power and capable of generating 131 db which equates to a sound pressure level that causes muscles to contract involuntarily ... morein a bad wayJ. Below are the specs from JBL. The SRX are Pro line, they’re not similar to the MRX series nor remotely to the JRXs. I tried EAWs, EVs, Turbosound and a Meyers before settling on the SRXs. There is nothing that is not stellar about them. The first time is used them I plugged them up with the Ashly Protea EQ flat…they sounded great. They require very little EQ and the 3” HF compression driver is smooth as silk. All Neo loaded. Why am I selling? I don’t need the power of these and they should go to a good home. I took the drivers and crossovers out of 4 JBL MRX515 Cabinets that I wasn't using. They are all in excellent physical condition. Small screw holes on top of the cabinets have been filled. Barely visible, see close up pictures. The camera does no justice to these, very clean, black and the grills are perfect, JBL logo is orange. They come with all necessary hardware, handles, input plate, grills& horn flares. These were Made in the USA. These cabinets was bought to use in a church and was hung, found out that they were too much for the space. So we have decided to sell it in parts. Pair of CRATE PE-15H SPEAKERS cabinets 15" inch DJ karaoke speakers + tweeters
This auction is for pick-up only! This auction is for a pair of Crate Micro Series PE-15H speakers. And a pair of external tweeters for use with the Crate speakers, that can be used for DJ disc jockey, karaoke, club, or public address sound. The horn on one Crate speaker is not working, but the use of the external tweeter can compensate for this part. All items are in working order as described and in good cosmetic shape. I have seen a number of auctions for the same type of Crate speakers that are not in nearly as good condition as these speakers. The outer vinyl has some minor scratches and scrapes. But nothing too bad. Some of the protective corners have been replaced since the original corners had broken. The speaker tripod receptacle on the bottom on the speakers have been replaced with a heavier duty version made by SLM. The original ... moretripod receptacles were made from a lighter grade of plastic and had begun to crack. The original horns have been replaced with a more durable horn from Foster(H025N08 20 watt horn, 90 watts RMS, 360 watts peak) I also have two additional horns that I will throw in. I do not know if these horns work, but they are the proper size to fit these speakers. Due to the weight of the speakers and amplifier.
