The dish is in pretty good condition with some surface scratching on the clear glass and in the gold painted area as well. It has the starburst pattern in the middle of the dish with the"H" for Heisey in the center. The dish measures about 5 1/2 inches. You are viewing an 1870's Boston Sandwich Glass Mary Gregory Pitcher with three Tumblers. They are all hand painted and have a coin dot thumb print pattern. The pitcher measures about 9 3/4" tall and it features gold gilting around the top ruffle and the center band. It has a hand painted"Mary Gregory" scene of a man hunting carrying his rifle while walking in the feild The lined handle is applied. The tumblers measure about 4" tall and feature a hand painted scene of a girl picking flowers. They are made of a very thin glass and appear very delicate. The pontil on the bottom of the pitcher has an edge that was not polished out as smoothly as it should have and seems a little sharp to the touch. It would make a great addition to any collection. Vintage Lefton China Hand Painted 25th Anniversary Tea Pot Silver
I bought this tea pot to give to my sister in law(and her husband. Of course) next year, but now we are moving and I'm afraid of trying to keep it pristine(and finding room to store it in our smaller place. Because of the matching salt and pepper shakers(which I am keeping as they are small enough to hide somewhere) I am wondering if this set is from 1957. That could just be the article number, so I have no idea. I added a picture of the bottom of the salt shaker so you would know what I saw to make make think think so. From the hand-written note in the top of the tea pot, the handwriting reminds me of my grandmother and I could imagine that this is from that era. Again, I have no idea. She couldn't have helped me out by putting in the date of her 25th wedding anniversary! Moving. And will not accept returns. This 4 piece hand painted vintage Lefton China set. There are 4 miniature pieces. The re are two pitchers that measure 3 1/4 inches tall. There are raised flowers on both sides of both pitcher. If you look very carefully one of the bows is broken on one side. Otherwise I could find no other damage on thes e two pieces. There is a small ashtray that measur es 3 1/2 inches across. Some rose petals and a le a f are missing from this piece. The smallest piece has a stopper in the bottom but I am not sure what it is used for. It measures 1 1/4 inches tall. Up for auction is a gorgeous hollow stem wine glass. I don't know the maker. someone said it was Moser but I can't find anything like it so I don't know. It stands 6" tall and is about 3 1/4" across the green hollow stem base and is in excellent condition. There are two bands of gold on the stem. There is a wide band of gold around the bowl of the glass with hand painted grape leaves going around it and the"bunches" of grapes are green glass- like rhinestones. This glass is absolutely beautiful! Around one side of the bowl it is written in gold. Weilerbaili/ Pfalz. I'm not sure of the spelling of the first word but in doing some research I know Pfalz is a wine growing region in Germany. Lovely Old Hand Painted Tea Cup and Saucer ~ Fruit ~ Scalloped Edge ~ Gold Rim
This auction features a lovely Old Porcelain Hand Painted Tea Cup and Saucer#TV-1154. This tea cup and saucer are gold rimmed on the top of the cup. The handle is also accented with gold on the outside. The saucer is also gold rim on the scalloped edge. Bananas, Apples, Grapes. And more lovely hand painted fruit with beautiful colors. The saucer is scalloped around the edge as shown in the pix. The cup measures 4 1/4 inches including the handle and it is about 2 7/8 inches high. The saucer shows very slight use around the inside circle and the fold rim on the cup also. The cup has a small rub on the outside of the handle. This cup and saucer were used and loved. There is a tiny manufacturer dent(for lack of better word) on the bottom rim of the cup. I tried to capture in a picture. Hopefully, I captured it. I apologize for any glare in the ... morephones. The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches across. This cup and saucer are very unusual and so pretty. There are no nicks. Chips, etc. The coloring is lovely. It has a reliefed Majolica ceramic porcelain scrollwork and fleurs on the rim that are barely visible in the close-ups. Item has gold trim that's wore more than 50% The top has a wonderful boutique of spring-time flowers in a reddish pink or lavender that is hand painted and you can feel with your fingers similar to enamel beading on Nippon. Item's candle portion and finger hoop all have gold accents and reliefs. This item is in great shape. There are no chips. Cracks or crazing. Item is marked on the underside with the P.T. Fauchon China Pot - Hand Painted
ITEM This is for a Fauchon china pot(Fauchon is the famous food store in Paris) It measures 4" across and 3.75" in height without the lit and 5" with the lid. There are two small chips- one is on the front and can be seen in the photograph. The other is also on the rim(on the back) but on the inside and can't be seen when the lid is on. The pot makes a nice holder for tea bags. Sugar, coffee or the like. PAYMENT I accept paypal and this is my preferred method to receive payment.
