Antique Oak Desk and Matching Chair For Sale. The desk measures 47" long.30" tall and 26" wide.The chair slides under it. There are 2 wide drawers on top and 3 drawers on the side. The second drawer needs some repair work done on it. Has some damage inside. The back of the desk has a splintered piece.See picture. This is nothing major. The repairs are minimum and we used it just find without fixing it. We never used the drawer and the issue in back no one could see. I believe these are for a square pedestal which might make them a mission style foot. They measure approximately 1 ⅝" thick and 15 ⅛" long from toe to heel. 3 ⅞" wide at the toe and 6 ¾" at the heel. A dresser, or an armoire. It has a mortise and tenon construction, and I believe it dates back to the 1870s or before. It would make a perfect wall shelf bottom. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. It measures 50-1/4” long(44-7/8” without tenons) 10-7/8” high, and 1-1/2” thick(the solid board measures 7/8” thick. It’s a great piece for a project. Or just as a wall hanger. antique Berkey & gay furniture company small oak table very cute refinished
This is for a small table-it is marked berkey& gay and G or C 48 on the bottom-it is about 23 1/4" tall=26" long and 17 3/4" wide-it has been refinished at one time-it is only missing a tiny peg on the bottom of one leg so it seem to not sit flat-but that is easily replaced as they are just on the very bottom of the legs-otherwise it is nice- it has some squares on the top and i do not know if maybe it had been repaired or something-i am selling for a friend of mine so i do not know a whole lot about it as i mostly sell paper and once in awhile a neat collectable-i really do not know how old it is or anything about it- so if someone does and wants to let me know please do- it is a very cute small table-Please e-mail with any questions.
