It measures 33" wide by 17" ... moredeep by 26" high. I have priced this stunning and rare sliding glass door stacking section at a very low price for a very quick sale. This will make an awesome addition to any set of stacking sectional oak files! Please note that I don't have a great digital camera. The pictures aren't so great but the actual file is 1000 times nicer in person. Its a real beauty! Keep in mind that this stacking oak sectional file is compatible with many other early office file makers such as Yawman& Erbe. Globe Wernicke. Just check the measurements. If your file measures 17" deep by 33" wide than this section will fit yours. As any collector of early antique office files know. These sliding glass door sections are very, very, very rare and extremely hard to find. They didn't make many of them in the 1890's and obviously as they are made of glass. not many of the ones they did make have survived 110+ years. The overall condition is great though it is approx 110 years old. It isn't new or perfect. No big problems, very minor and overall it is in great condition. The cabinet has very deep rich tiger graining and a beautiful golden oak tone. There is some small pieces of veneer missing along the bottom on the left side as well as some small pieces of veneer missing on the interior right side near the sliding door. Nothing major and not a big deal. The interior has numerous original holes on each side so that shelves can be installed, the doors slide perfectly and I believe that the glass is original. The door even retains its original brass knob. As the doors are glass. My preference would be a buyer who can pick up the cabinet though I am willing to ship it. If you have an antique oak sectional filing cabinet and you have been wanting to add a glass doored section you already know how rare these sections are! Well, here it is.

This is quite a unique quarter sawn oak file cabinet. Signed(Mfg.by The Automatic File& Index Co. Green Bay Ws. Very nice original finish and in very good condition. This unusual file cabinet has a top file which is opened by lifting the lid which allows the front to automatically go forward for access. This compartment has the original paper holder and measures 12 wide, 20 deep, and 7.5 high. The middle is a drawer which is 11.5 wide, 18.5 deep, and 3.5 high. The bottom is a standard file cabinet drawer with paper holder and measures 12.0 wide, 19 deep and 10.5 high. Note the nice quarter sawn oak and the original brass pulls and label holders. Vintage WEIS Mission Tiger Oak File Drawer Cabinet Wood Wooden Office Index Box
This is an early Weis single drawer file cabinet. The box is made of tiger oak and as the photos show. The joinery in the wood construction is of a mission style and displays well. The cabinet measures 15" deep x 8" wide x 6 1/4" tall and the single drawer is capable of holding card files 6" wide and 4 1/2" tall. The hardware for securing the files is present and works well. There is a brass pull on the drawer that has a 2 1/4" x 1" slot for holding a label. The only thing the file cabinet is missing is a footpad or thick headed tack on the bottom rear left corner. The original Weis label is still on the top of the box, although it is faded. The cabinet does have some scratches on it, but nothing that is too distracting. This is a beautiful piece but it's old and it's not perfect. The top has 2 dents(see pics) This is solid oak and oak veneer(side panels and very top) The veneer is all there but it has minor lifting in some small areas. 2 file drawers work fine. 2 pullout shelves work great. Not sure what the 6 pullout files along the top were used for. I was always going to make them into drawers but never did. Cabinet at bottom is clean and doors work great. Minor wood loss at very bottom right. No key. Overall this is a really great ... morepiece. Total height is 62.5" Base Cabinet is 33.5" high x 25" deep. Library Bureau Oak Four Drawer File Cabinet. This sturdy file cabinet has paneled sides and back. And the drawer sides and bottoms are wood. The drawers slide in and out on metal tracks. The hardware is brass and all of the drawers still have single upright metal file supports but not guide rods. The wood cabinet has been left as is and is in need of refinishing. Front top drawer has been repaired, a few scrapes have not. There is a label attached to the inside of the second drawer face that says“manufactured or controlled under Library Bureau patents” and lists many patents from 1892 to May 26, 1903. The file cabinet is 52 3/4 inches tall. 17 1/2 inches wide and 26 1/2 inches deep. The drawers are 14 inches wide, 10 1/2 inches tall and 24 ¾ inches deep. See photographs. Here I'd had this gorgeous quarter-sawn oak cube-like drawer-cabinet, and always assumed that it didn't fit CD's, since so many of the old card files& card-catalogue drawers are too small for the standard CD case. But in measuring it for this listing. We realized that this classic antique is indeed unusually well-suited for these quintessential modern electronic storage necessities. Whether you need to store drawers full of CD's or not. This piece is a beauty. It looks like there's no veneer on this piece, and that every panel is solid through& through. And unlike most cabinets of this sort, it was made so that every one of its sides(even the bottom) is beautiful, smooth, flush& meant to be seen. The quartersawn, ... moretiger-oak panels are just exquisite, golden-oak natural colored and of a very clean, simple design. The form of this cabinet is nearly an exact cube. Check out this beautiful light oak Antique Globe Wernicke 2 Drawer File Cabinet/Card Catalog in wonderful condition. Made by the Globe Wernicke Company out of Cincinnati. Ohio this is both a great piece of history and very functional. This card catalog has all the maker stamps on both the inside and outside. Another amazing feature about this rare piece of the bottom where it is stamped"Property Air Force/United States Army. The stories this piece of history could tell! It's overall in great condition. The cabinet is exquisitely dovetailed and very solid. It does have a couple scratches/writing right where the handles are but this could probably easily be buffed out. This piece is a quarter sawn oak file cabinet but without drawers but a door. Inside are two adjustable shelves. Would be a great companion for your office and a nice match to an oak file cabinet. Size of the piece is 14.5 wide, 25.0 deep, and 48.5 high. Note the paneled door and sides and the'bullnose' top. I do have the original key and works well. Up for sale is a great turn of the century Wabash Cabinet Company stacking file cabinet. There are 4 pieces. a 20 drawer unit. A 3 drawer unit a cap and a base. All oak veneered with a nice aged deep patina. It is 45" high, 39 1/2" wide, 18 1/2" deep at the base and the cabinets are 15 1/4" deep. As you can see in the pictures the top has some ring marks and the side has a couple of pieces of veneer missing the bare wood has been darkened. This is in original condition with a nice rich color. One corner of the narrow drawer has been repaired and is shown in the closeup. It has normal wear and dings for a piece over 100 years old. These pulls are true mission in the sense that the sides are not angled or tapered out at the sides but are straight up and down 90 degree vertical on the edges. Most of this style in oak pulls are sloped outward on the side corners. The dove tail drawer fronts are nice and in excellent undamaged condition. Antique quartersawn oak Library Bureau Solemakers file cabinet. Measuring 11.5"L x 9"H x 17.25"W. Dovetailed construction throughout with original brass hardware and name plate. The drawer will hold a larger 5 x 9" index card and it has its adjustable divider inside. I do not have the key for the mortise lock. Cabinet is a little darker then the usual"golden oak" color of the Library Bureau line. Nice big cabinet and very heavy for its size.
