I have an interesting lot of four used cast brass cabinet or cupboard latches with catches for your consideration. These are in nice reusable condition. I am uncertain of there age although they are good quality hardware pieces. These looked used with some rusting on handle set screws. Some patina as well on brass. Unusual design. Original Antique Hoosier doors with hardware. Two shelves, one wire cook book holder, three pieces of wire for"the second to the bottom photo shows 2 similar wire brackets. they hold the dispenser for bean etc unit that mounted across from the flour sifter and allow the dispenser to slide in and out for filling. This description is from the gentleman I bought this from. Couldn't let it get thrown away. I didn't take these shelves off because I am not a professional and didn't want to damage them. Library Card Catalog Cabinet 25 Drawers ALL Hardware Intact 2 Writing Boards
Here we have a beautiful piece of Americana that has now sadly become obsolete from it's original purpose of housing card catalogs for libraries. It has 25 drawers and two slide out writing boards It would be very suitable for office or decorative purposes. It is a nice medium size cabinet that could be used in an entry way. As it has an attached writing pen. The bottom has an open bookcase for storage of additional books or manuals. If being used for decorative purposes, a basket or two would look nice in that open area. The cabinet appears to be hardly used. All of it's hardware is intact. Interior drawers are heavy duty molded plastic. The cabinet is solid wood and very heavy. There are some scuff marks at the bottom and dings along the top. The back wood had been replaced with cheat paneling, but I replaced it with flooring from an 1880's warehouse(looks great) The sliding doors were missinf along with the lower slide track. Now has two nice shelves mounted and a third comes with it. The hardware was missing when I got it. Now has some beautiful period reproduction cast brass handles, upper decorative pieces and cast brass shelf supports to bring it all together. I have an unusual pressed or stamped. Nickel plated steel lot of 8 old door latches for your consideration. These could be in nice reusable condition with a little cleaning and lube. All the springs seem to be intact and work. A little sticky on a couple. I am uncertain of there age although my guess would have been from a wooden built in cabinet or cupboard door from the late 20's early 30's. They have a deco pattern on handles. Nicely, these appear to have had a flush strikeplate application so you will be able to find something that would work more easily. Might be a nice addition for a reworked piece of furniture or cabinet/cupboard door. measure 1 7/16 inches from ctr to ctr of mounting screw holes. Genuine Amerock Hardware Store Display Cabinet Hinges Door Handle Vintage Old
A vintage Genuine Amerock Hardware Store Display. Lasting beauty with Chromium and Color. The price card is slightly torn and the glass is broke at the top of the price card other than that it is in really great condition. It has 2 working doors on the display for handle testing. The price list went into effect August. 28, 1948. The back of the display has a working kickstand to prop the display up. This would look awesome in an old time store or in a handy man shop. All nine of the cabinet/drawer pulls in this lot are cast brass and I'm sure 8 of the 9 are from the late 1800s/early 1900s( the brightest pull may be newer) The teardrop pull measures 3" long x 2 1/4" wide and is the largest- the wreath& bow is 2 1/4" wide- the smallest piece is a 1" wide pull. The top middle door will need a screw put in to hold the metal hanger in place. But such an easy fix. Also the bottom cabinet is missing the drawer.
