Lets not forget the bob Evans tin can. It is GREAT. This is 70" tall, 47 1/2" wide. 28" front to back. The tambour roll is 13" tall, 22 1/4" wide, all doors in the top section are 11 1/4" wide, and are 18 1/4" and 35 1/4" tall. In the base the right hand drawers are all 10 1/4" wide. 21" front to back. They have depths of 2 3/4" 4, and 8 3/4" deep. Behind the two doors you will find. Two original wire baskets for lids or pots and pans. Also two original pull out shelves. These shelves are usually missing. Behind the large left door in the top section. This piece was salvaged from a Chicago bakery and is c1920. Great old look– cabinet is painted(textured) white over what looks to be oak veneer. It is super heavy so I am assuming it is constructed of oak. Minor damage to the bottom of the unit and a few dings that are consistent with age. The best part about this piece is that a logo could be added to the center panel above the glass. The unit is not refrigerated. But I'm sure could be converted as a compressor could be added to the top of the top interior of the unit 8 1/2"h. Overall unit measurement is 32 3/4"w x 35 1/2"d(at the bottom) x 52 3/4"h. All have some surface rust(metal integrity not compromised) on them(that can probably be cleaned off totally) and all have some leftover paint on them, but ALL hinges are operational and have full metal integrity. The screw bases of the hinges have the matching ribbed lines of the pulls, but the ribs are not colored in at all Half Circle pulls- 4 pulls. Very minor surface rust on some backs, as seen in pictures, but fronts and sides look brand new! Ribbed portions have original black inlay paint. Half Heart pulls- 11 pulls. There are hundreds of every kind of drawer pulls, hinges, hook, mouldings, frames, rods, brass desk rails, cast and stamped brass ornaments, stair buttons, shears, tacks etc. pages are clean and unmarked, with very slight age browning on the edges. All pages are securely bound and the spine is of book binding tape with black lettering. Page ... moreedges are good, corners go from good to dog eared and chipped. There is no previous owners' name in this book from a smoke and pet free home, however, on the front cover is a lightly pencilled name. The front gray cover is smudged, has black lettering and is nicely embossed. The back cover is clean but a corner is missing. Corners, edges and spine are shelf worn. I can find no date for this publication but it is likely ca.1910 or earlier when North American companies made everything. This vintage catalogue measures about 10 by 7 inches. Well. When was the last time you saw document case? Or even seen an item made of curly pine? Here is both, a document case and it is made of curly pine in one item. The glass appears to be original wavy glass and the latch and porcelain knob appear to be original as well. The finish is probably not original in my opinion, but a good and appropriate finish for this piece. All the wood is solid and original with the front and sides being curly pine. This item is heavy probably weighing around 150 pounds. The dimensions are 42 inches tall to the peak of the front, 20 inches wide across the door and 16 inches deep from the door to the back.
