Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! And were imported by the well known upscale NYC retailer Ovington Brothers, who imported top quality wares for their clientelle. These plates are highly decorated on a mottled maroon ground. The 6 triangular floral insets on pure white porcelain have a Dresden look, with bright yellow and gold accents. There is a combination of transfer outlines in fuschia, which were filled in with hand painted colors. Gold accents further outline and embellish in the painted& non-painted areas and around the rim. Antique French Limoges Hand Painted Charger Circa 1870's-80's This absolutely beautifully hand painted French Limoges charger depicts two large quail with great detail and colors. It is signed by Dubois who was a very important painter in that time. It is 12 inches in diameter, when sitting flat on a surface the raise at the outside edge is 2 inches. It's beautifully gold guilded in a swirling ruffled style and the only condition issue is that a small piece of gold paint is gone on the outer edge which is pictured and is also marked Limoges, France on the back. I have decided to sell my grandmother's(large) antique armoire. Lock and key doors and glass center windows. Built and hand painted in France. This is an absolutely gorgeous piece with that perfectly-distressed french cottage look. I've gotten more compliments on this piece than I can count but I am renovating my house and going for a different look. And I just don't have room to store it. Large wardrobe cabinets on each side perfect for hanging clothes or other closet functions. Shelf storage in center behind glass doors. Center section also boasts an internal light. Rare antique c1810 Masonic French Revolution painted snuff tobacco box painting
Description: Please find for offer a very rare. French, Masonic, painted paper mache/lacquered tobacco/snuff box, dating to circa 1810-20 the painting full of symbolism. The lid depicting Marianne(national emblem of France and an allegory of Liberty and Reason) holding what appears to be a magnifying glass in one hand and a set-square in the other, sat central with two masonic columns either side. Above a flying dove radiating light(instead of the all seeing eye often depicted) The whole box is surrounded with very high quality gilt decoration. Many objects/symbols surround Marianne. Upon a checkered floor, including(going clockwise) an anchor, a globe, a book, a cornucopia spilling out fruit and coins, an open book, a compass, a masons trowel, an artist's pallet on top of a roll of paper, a classical bust, a lyre, an exotic turban, and ... morebehind that is a Nile crocodile and a Camel. I believe the depiction of the crocodile and camel are important indicators of the date. Jeweler Leon Richmond of Memphis. TN mounted it with a metal bezel on a handmade walnut disk to hang on the wall in the 1960's. Originally probably a pin or in a more elaborate metal frame. Small chip on side has been painted black. Unmarked, presumed to be French, possibly Limoge or other fine art house. Use as is or restore to a brooch or pendant. There is a chip on the inside of the lid, as you can see in my pictures, it is not noticable when the the lid is on, there also is a hair line crack from the chip which you can see from the ouside.but I myself do not think the hairline crack is significant enough to take away from the beauty of this French piece, still looks great for a show piece. She is 7 1/8" tall by 4" round across the middle of her dress. You are bidding on a miniature Limoges signed flower basket with tiny beaded flowers inside. The basket measures 7/8" tall and 1" long. It is marked"Limoges France" on the bottom in gold paint. The basket is decorated with a gold handle and trim and flowers on each side. The basket has tiny beaded flowers inside. Not sure if these are original or were added by someone. Purchased in a flea market in Paris. This rare"Saliere Moutardier" likely dates sometime between 1930 and 1950. There is a stamp on the bottom that is illegible except for the word"Paris" There is a small salt shaker, a small pepper shaker and a mustard pot, all of which are gold painted porcelain, that sit in the body of the white porcelain airplane with gold detailing. All are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There are some areas on the mustard pot in which the gold has worn off but they are hardly noticeable. The urn measures 11" tall, and about 7" wide. It is completely hand-painted and features a reclining woman with a cherub on the front, and a box above a wreath on the back. It is signed by the artist on the front(H. ANTIQUE FRENCH CARVED BRONZE LAMP PAINTED WHITE This is a beauty of a lamp! It is carved all throughout with a reeded column with a beautiful ribbon base! There is a nice dark patina under the paint. This lamp base is especially nice because of its carving and its weight. There is a nice cluster socket that appears to be original to it. But one socket is broken off of it and the top of the cluster is missing. Two of the pull chains are missing also and it will need to be wired. It stands 25 1/2" high by 8" wide in diameter. Up for auction is a fabulous pair of vintage. Reverse painted glass lamps. These are wall hanging lamps, and are made of a buff metal and the reverse painted glass. They depict two"fancy" women. I can't decide if they are Southern Belles, or a pair of French Provencial ladies. The lamps measure 12.25" x 14.5" x 2.75" The images measure approximately 8"x 10" These are three way lamps. They light at the top, the bottom, and the top and bottom. They take a 40W tubular bulb. I have put working bulbs in the lamp, and will ship them with the lamps. On the back they both have a paper label that says"Formed Products Company- 85-11 57th Ave. Elmhurst, L. I. New York" These lamps are in excellent working condition. The lamps work properly in all three ways. The only flaws I can find is that there is ... moresome rub wear around the gold part of the outside of the frame, and they could use a cleaning. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE French Porcelain Coffee Pot Chocolate Pot Hand Painted w Wood Handle Mennecy Villeroy Presented is a beautiful French Mennecy Villery hand painted porcelain or ceramic Chocolate Coffee or tea pot with wood handle. It has a detailed flower motif in purple and blue with a mauve rose under spout and on lid. The lid locks onto pot in what is called a bayonet style and has a hole in lid for access of the muddler or spoon for stirring. It is in great condition with only a few scratches on bottom from table use and is signed on bottom D.V. for the French maker Mennecy-Villeroy starting soon after c1748 to 1765. I have included my research on the marks in the pictures above. It is a lovely piece and ready for use or a great addition any collection.
