C. 1900-15 Item# 130001KKG27 This is a very fine French Louis XVI Style Antique Settee with Gilded Carved surfaces. Crafted during the first years of the 20th Century at the end of the Rococo Revival period, c. 1900-15. It is an exceptional piece in every way, the molding work on every exposed surface is simply above reproach. The crest rail is bowed with an unusual carved design at the apex, lifting in swirls and actually flowing up and over the back of the settee. This is flanked on each corner with highly detailed acorn finials over floral carvings that fall along the stiles. The arms are likewise decorated, the handholds with carved acanthus leaves, the arm supports with scaled molding over acanthus foliage at the knees. The modern upholstery ... moreis a soft yellow with collections of fruits and foliage throughout, a comfortable stuffed back and a somewhat more supportive and firm seat. The apron of the antique french settee is a complex infiniti-motif closed on each end with swirled-rosettes at the knees. The entire sofa resting over twist-turned tapered legs terminating in plain ball feet. This is a very fine antique french settee. Crafted entirely by hand with utmost precision and care during an important revival of the French styles. With a wealth of demand for revivals of the 18th Century works, many very high quality pieces were renewed during this era, much of it brought into the States to satisfy the significant demand of discerning clients during the period. Hi for sale I have two matching vintage/antique John Widdicomb twin beds. They have a beautiful French country design. They are in reall great vintage shape. The headboards have a painted foloral design. With a thick gold rope going around. I think the big tassles at the end. The beds are clean and smoke free. The rope might be coming apart a little at the seam. See photo#7(really no big deal) each measures: 42" wide x 78" long. And the headboard is 43 3/4" tall at the tallest measure. French Porcelain Figure Group French Porcelain Figure Group This lovely porcelain figure is signed by hand in overglaze blue with overlapping initials LM(or ML) It is also marked“Made in France. Hand Painted” I was unable to identify the mark, and I cannot estimate the age of this piece(I purchased it at a New England estate auction) The figure stands 7 5/8” 19.5 cm) tall and the base has a width of 6 1/8” 15.5 cm) This is heavy porcelain, weighing over 1 lb 14 oz. This beautiful piece is in excellent condition. I found no chips. Cracks, or repairs. The gold decoration around the lower edge of the base does have some wear in spots. There are three small areas around the lower edge where there is a tiny gap in the porcelain(sort of a wrinkle that didn’t fill with glaze) These areas are factory flaws that occurred in the firing and are not ... moredamage, as they are original to the piece. These factory flaws are not very noticeable as they are quite small and located near the bottom edge of the base. This figure has a rattle inside due to a small speck of porcelain that got trapped inside the mold when it was made. This item is being offered at auction starting at only $9.99. Up for sale is what I believe to be a Sevres or Limoges porcelain box. It is chip and crack free. The lid does not close completely due to some adhesive loss on the inside back hinge. I do not know what the filler is called that attaches the brass to the porcelain. There is also some brass loss on the front clasp. This is a large box measuring 6 5/8" wide and 3 1/4" tall. It is signed on the bottom and on the painting.

Victorian Era. Hand Painted French Colbert Bisque Boy& Girl at the Seashore Figurines What a wonderful pair of scarce Victorian era(late 1800s) hand painted Bisque child figurines. Rich colors and gilt detail trim. This young pair appear to be at the seashore. Standing with pail and shovel in hand searching for clams or seashells! The young girl has a shovel in her left hand and a bucket in her right hand. The young boy has a shovel in his right hand and holds a bucket in his left hand. Both figures are incised on the reverse side of the base with Colbert's distinctive signature. The children have exceptional details with blonde colored hair. And they are wearing adorable swimming attire, in pale blue with periwinkle blue accents. The girl’s swim dress is adorned with delicate blue flowers on it. The dress is trimmed in gold. Her ... moreface is lovely and she has blue eyes. She is standing in her bare feet and has her dressed pulled up to keep the hem from getting too wet. The boy also has blue floral design on the front legs of his swim attire. Rich colors and gilt trim enhance the delicate bisque and finely colored detail of the face and eyes of these figurines. The toes. Hands and face are exquisitely molded with outstanding detail. They are so realistic and well made they seem almost ready to come to life. The bases feature molded cresting waves and shore in pale blue with light tan accents. The boy stands 12” while the young girl is 11.75” tall. They both measure 6” at their widest point on the base. These pieces have no chips. Cracks or repairs. I believe that each has a slight flaw which probably occurred during firing. There’s a small spot on the boy’s face(see photo#4) and a dark spot on the girl’s left arm just below where her sleeve ends(see photo#5) These very hard to find pieces are priced considerably below their value. An image just below the clock depicts a man who is meeting the acquaintance of a young woman as was customary during the 18 th century. Furthermore there are four support columns that are decoratively painted in a baby blue fashion background with a homestead prominently featured. Overall the clock is in terrific condition given its age. There are light and slight marks on some of the porcelain columns. There are no cracks or crazing in the clock face. However. There are slight blue marks near the top of the clock and a hint of yellowing near the wind up key hole. Also some of the numbers are lightly faded. The painted bronze ... moredoes have some signs of wear. Please note the cherubs are a little loose. This piece measures 21 inches tall by 13 ¼ inches wide(base measurement) by 9 inches wide(pillar to pillar) by 6 inches deep. Please note that there is no key with clock and the two garniture pieces are not with the clock. The clock mechanism has been tested using a separate key. At the moment the clock mechanism is unresponsive. There is no name on the clock mechanism. However there was the number 347 on the rear of the mechanism. Please review the pictures below! French Louis XV Style Antique Canape Sofa Probably France. C. 1910-30 Item# 120001RPW16 This is a beautiful decorator piece. With an intensely carved frame, the truest essence of Rococo revivalism with a strong acanthus inspired design executed in crisp confident carvings. The molded carved rail flows in ripples, culminating at the center with a solid pierced foliate design that wells up from the bottom and outpours at the crest. The sofa rests over a beautiful draped apron and five flawlessly formed cabriole legs, each terminating in scrolled french toes. This sofa is a delightful find for any designer looking for that perfect piece in a formal setting. It features a fine mellow finish. Worn and oxidizing throughout. French German Belgium ? Vintage Painted Malheur Malkeur Cork Glass Bottle
This beautiful painted bottle is either from France. Germany or Belgium, I cannot translate the writing. It seems vintage with the cork stopper but I am unsure of the age. It is for some kind of Liqueur or liquor called Malheur or Malkeur. This is POSSIBLY hand blown as the center of the bottom has a circular indent. There is one edge chip to the back rim(see photo#6) cannot be seen when displayed from the front. The end of the glass stopper is missing just a little below the cork(see photo's#1& 5) Measures a little over 8 inches tall.

This is a very decorative piece with one drawer over the drop front secretary section and a cabinet in the lower portion with an interior drawer. There are two keys included and both work. The desk is 55 1/2" high by 37 1/2" wide by 17 1/2" deep. There are some condition issues. The cabinet door on the bottom in the front has some age cracks as do both side panels, please see photos. Vintage Porcelain Box Roman Soldier Decoration Hand Painted in France For Your Porcelain Box Collection Details Description: A nice size hand painted French porcelain box with a nice central drawing in black and white Roman Soldier in head gear and holding a shield. The drawing is on dark red background and surrounded by hand painted floral design again in black on white and surrounded by a gold highlight. The box has an uncolored base marked as to the maker. The entire box is colored in the dark red background. It has a brass framed closure with a floral thumb piece(almost like a fleur de lies) The entire piece is made of hand colored porcelain with brass hinged closure. The inside of the box is decorated with a dainty floral design on the white background both inside the box and on the underside of the lid. The bottom of the box is marked ... moreas to the maker in green under glaze coloring. The painted details are just very nice. This piece is an old French porcelain box that is great looking and of a nice size. Please see photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Late 1800s to early 1900s Origin: France. Possibly Limoges Size: Measures ~4 1/8” by ~2 7/8" and is ~1 3/4" high. The box weighs over 9 ounces. Maker: Unknown Marks: Written on the bottom in green under glaze lettering"Hand Painted; and additional words we are unable to make out(could be Made in France) In addition. There is a maker's mark consisting of a shield having the letters B and W and a central motif that we are unable to make out. Also in green lettering, the words"Made in France" on the edge of the base. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: This is definitely a nice box. Which deserves a spot in your French porcelain or Limoges box related collection. Condition: Box is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, hairlines, crazing or repairs. The hinge is intact and the box closes well. The brass closure, which may have been reglued, could probably use a good cleaning

Stunning atq/vtg. French Victorian painted Egg porcelain trinket dresser box, This is a beautiful egg shape porcelain trinket/vanity box. I am not certain of the age. The only marking on it on the bottom is what looks like 7039. There are no other maker marks. It is painted with a French Victorian style scene& surrounded in gold trim. Has a gold tone or brass hinge& trim which is a little bend& will need straightening. The little flower peddle latch is also bent. I'm told it was made like that but I can't confirm it. It is an egg shape& measures approx. 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" tall. It is in very nive condition other than the mentioned hinge& it will need cleaning.
