Five of the pulls have light surface wear to the wood; the sixth has a more moderate wear. 1931 American Cabinet Co. Mahogany Dental Cabinet Antique Vintage 16 Drawer NICE
1931 Dental Cabinet This beautiful dental cabinet was manufactured by the American Cabinet Company in Two Rivers. Wisconsin. According to a paper label on the bottom of one of the drawers it was manufactured in 1931. The label actually records the date it was stained(11/17/30) the date it was rubbed(4/13/31) as well as the employee number of the person who did the task. It is identified as Article 135, Mahogany Dental, Order No. 0905, Shop No. 912. The is a metal plaque on the inside of one of the doors marked American Cabinet Company, Two Rivers Wisconsin with the serial number 82427. The cabinet features two doors on the top and 16 drawers on the bottom. There is a seven panel back. Between the top section and the porcelain top there is a narrow beveled mirror. The top cupboard is also porcelain lined. The cupboard doors feature a beautiful ... moretextured glass. All of the drawers and doors feature original glass knobs. All appear to be in beautiful condition. Each of the drawers are numbered on the bottom. The drawers are metal with wood fronts. There are no porcelain inserts. But these are available from other sellers on eBay if desired. There is a certain drawer that. When removed, provides access to a locking mechanism. When activated this lever locks all of the drawers except the one that is removed. Condition There is a small chip on the porcelain top as pictured. It is not noticable without close inspection. The porcelain piece sits loosely on top of the lower cabinet section. There is nothing that holds it in place. There are two small holes on on side of the top cupboard. It appears something was attached here at one point. The top cupboard has a strong medicinal odor when opened. The bottom right drawer has the stain of an old spill in the back corner. Measurements Height- 61" Width- 30 1/2" Depth- 13 1/4" Drawers 4& 5 are actually one drawer- 24 3/8" x 8 1/8" x 3 3/8" deep. It has a wooden tray for dental tools. But this is removable. These brass finish back plates will hide an impressed circle from a previously larger knob. Or dress up a plain drawer front. They are 1/4 inch high by 3 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. The indent for the knob is 3/4 of an inch wide. This batch of 14 is not polished for the people that prefer it that way. But they do shine up nicely with brass polish. The finish is smooth until you look very close. It has a tiny texture to make it a satin finish rather than polished. The backside is stamped National Lock. I recycle packaging. Antique Decanter Cabinet with Bottles & Drawer - Pre WWII
Beautiful light woodgrain cabinet with bottles made before 1945. The cabinet is in excellent condition. There is one bottle that has a crack and is chipped(hole) in the side of the bottle-as seen in picture 5. The bottles have air bubbles in the glass. There is cork inside the top gold lids. The bottles measure 9 3/4" tall by 3 1/4" wide/ square and are very heavy with a ribbed and snowflake design. The cabinet measures 12" long by 14 1/2" tall by 4" wide. Drawer is 11 3/8" long by 1 3/4" high by 3 3/4" wide on the outside-inside drawer is 3 1/8" wide by 10 3/8" long by 1 3/8" high. The bottom sticker is AMC Japan. I don't know who is the maker on the bottles but they are very nice. The cabinet held three bottles at one time because there is an extra cap in the drawer.
