Country Store Glass Countertop Display Cabinet 2 Tier 62" Wide
I really hate to get rid of this. But I have no use for it, and is very much in my way. This is a local piece, from here in Sussex County New Jersey. Maybe someone can put it to good use. It is a 2 tier unit with wooden sliding doors on the back. It is 62" wide by 24" tall by 20" deep. No broken glass, but there is wear on the top glass.I guess from handling coins on it. I would estimate it to be between 100 and 120 years old. I believe custm built. This is for pickup ONLY. Will not try to ship.

Antique Willmantic COUNTRY GENERAL STORE DISPLAY SPOOL COTTON THREAD CABINET
This antique. 4-drawer spool thread cabinet is beautifully preserved. The drawer facings are nicely grooved on a light colored burled veneer, I think it's walnut? highlighted by original metal handles and spiked rivets. The profile of the chest reveals nice grooving, beveled panels and a scrolled outline. The thick top is solid and shows marring in one corner and some expected wear and tear. There are some specks of light paint visible on the drawer fronts from a brush cleaned nearby during its' long history. It still shows nice lustre, patina and condition for its' age(No information on how old it is) The cabinet measures, 25" long x 16" wide x 14 1/2" high. The inside of dove-tailed drawers shows notching for removeable dividers. Of which four still remain. Some job-related labeling on the inside of drawers has ... morebeen left intact. It is a heavy and sturday piece that weighs around 40 LBS. with no loose dove-tail joints or separation. Two of the drawers have underneath support added; inside of BOTTOM of drawers shows some loosening, staining, and wear and tear. The Willimantic labeling is amazingly well-preserved on two of the three sides. And about half rubbed away on the third side. The Willimantic Linen Company was the first to offer spooled cotton thread in a variety of colors and became a leader in the industry in the mid-1800's, based in Willimantic, Connecticut. Overall. The cabinet looks great. Drawers open and close nicely. The four removable dividers provide a pattern for up to fifteen that can be used in each drawer. This makes the drawers divideable in many ways. There are a few small bits of veneer missing and one larger piece on the left side. We have that piece and left it inside the top drawer. It's been well-loved and utilized, and shows just enough wear and tear to look at home anywhere, for any kind of use. AS IS. Enjoy! Item is sold AS IS. Found in Kentucky this is a seed cabinet display from an old country hardware store. It is 2 pieces with the top having the original jars for seed. The bottom has glass front drawers for viewing what was inside. Very unique and hard to find! It looks to have been refinished and was probably painted at one time. Antique Two Drawer Machine Needle Spool Cabinet Thread Display Country Store
You are bidding on an all original needle cabinet. It says Machine Needle on the front with the original black paper label. This is a two drawer cabinet with the original porcelain knobs. It measures 15" wide by 10" deep and 7 1/2" high. It still has quite a bit of the old label on the front of it. Does not look like there was ever any other markings. It is in very good shape for being so early. Something I found that is very interesting. Is that on the inside lip of both drawers are the names of various sewing companies such as, Howe, Victor, Home Shuttle. Antique Clarks O.N.T. Spool Cotton Country Store Display Cabinet
Large two drawer Clark's Spool Cabinet. Walnut. Measures approximately 22.5" top, length 15.5" plus pulls makes 16 inches, 7.5" tall. The drawers have glass inserts with red backing and letters look like gold color. Pulls are original with the letters O.N.T. and decoration, all still intact. All original, shows wear on top. Smudge spot on glass partially covering the T and O on Cotton. I have not tried to remove it.

Up for consideration today is an antique 2 drawer spool cabinet. For Clark's ONT thread. It has the original hanging brass ONT drawer pulls. There is a little bit of loss to the black lettering on the lower drawer(see picture) There are a few scratches on top of the unit and one small bump in the wood that is smooth and finished over(see pictures) Overall pretty nice condition for its age. The drawers are lined with black felt but its not glued down so its easily removed if you so desired. Nice well built solid piece of antique furniture. It measures 21-3/4" long 15-1/2 wide and 7" tall. Both drawers slide easily without sticking. Great for a jewelry box or return it to its original use and store your spools in it! You are bidding on an usual brand of display cabinet. When researched it appears that it was made to display Tailor Trimmings in a retail store. The company is Sibley. Cumner& Co. 16 Otis St Boston. Looks like the company used that name from 1865 to 1878. The labels are difficult to read. The small boxes look to say Made by Sibley, Cumner& Co. 16 Otis St Boston, Sole agents for Shawmut Silk Co. and Importers of Tailors Trimming. The first larger drawer says Shawmut Silk Co and the second says Sibley, Cumner& Co. Agents. There are 14 small drawers. Three of the drawers have a lid with a side metal closure. One of the metal closures are missing. The rest of the 11 drawers had a side off lid. One drawer is missing that lid. Several of the lids do not have the complete groove that the lid would sit in. There are no knobs to get the ... moredrawers out, it does not look like there ever was any knobs. The bottom two drawers do have knobs. On each side of the cabinet are metal screws. These appear to hold the bottom on. I have had this in my collection for a number of years. So I am not sure why these are there. Antique General Store Wavy Glass Display Cabinet-Case Country Store Display Case
This is one of several very nice vintage display cabinets that I currently have for sale. This one most likely dates back to the 1880's. Possibly even a bit older. The glass in this is clearly hand laid, it has a very heavy“wavy” look to it, more-so than any other cabinet I have ever had. In fact, I hand sanded the glass shelf edges because they were a little rougher than I liked. The cabinet itself almost has a handmade look to it, and I am sure it was handmade, although I am also certain there was a company that made other cabinets identical to this one. I have owned two others the exact same size and patterns. I recently saw another one, identical to this sell online. This cabinet or display case is 14 3/4” tall. 16 5/8” wide, and 11” deep. One access door in the back. Glass top, front, back and sides. The original old time eye screws ... moreare set for a middle shelf, and like others I have seen, there are also 4 old eye screws below the middle shelf, front two are lower than the top two, so you could set the glass shelf at an angle. The cabinet is made of oak lumber, I believe the bottom is pine. For it's age. I would consider this cabinet in excellent condition. The one flaw in it is that at some point someone may have put a lock on it or something?because in the back upper left corner, you can see two screw holes that are no longer being used. Those can be filled, they have never bothered me. I like a little patina with my antiques!Other than that there is some discoloring around the old screws which is common. At any rate, it has great patina and can be used in hundreds of different ways! I used to display some old Arcade/AC Williams cast iron toys in it and it worked perfect for that. There's nothing better than viewing an antique item in an antique display case most likely just like folks did originally. As always. This is the best I have seen of the Putnam Dye displays. Unlike some. Only the base is wood, all the other sides are printed litho. with an enameled paint covering. There is scant rust, none on the printing, and all can be cleaned following the instructions the maker put on the inside. The photos show the front, left side, right side, rear, top, and bottom, followed by the inside, back of the front door, and close ups of the writing that remains inside and the last photo shows the made in U.S.A. Shonk Works, Litho. Chicago. Another great country store display piece from the estate of a serious antique collector. Leave it as it is.
