The plinth dates from the mid to late 80s. It was built in Sheffield by Greaves. Thye datwe was 26 Feb 1987. At the time. They made plinths for many of the turntable companies such as Linn, Pink Triangle, Voyd etc. It has the greaves stamp on one corner brace. Also it has the Linn QA sticker on another brace. Georgian Country Pine 1800's Corner Cupboard. An authentic late Georgian period corner cupboard dates from the early 1800's. Classical dentil molding and fluted pilasters are hand carved in pine. Doors have raised panels and carved wooden pegs at the joints. The curved back is wainscoting. Held with hand wrought nails. The exterior finish is very good with traces of old paint. Antique Corner Cabinet, c. late 18th Century
This is a wonderful antique corner cabinet that dates from the late 18th Century. This is a carved solid wood piece. Not veneered. The top portion has a single door with 12 panes of glass. There are four interior shelves in this section and the fronts of the shelves are scalloped and have slots to hang silverware. This top section has a crown molding and reeded panels above the door and on either side. The bottom section has a set of double doors hiding two selves. This piece provides a huge amount of storage, as you can see from the pictures. This piece was hand made of walnut and measures approximately 83 1/2" tall, 42" wide and fits a 25 1/2" deep corner. This unique funky pair of corner chairs matches the settee/bench that we also have listed. Just couldn't pass it up! This is a unique design that I cannot find any information about. The base of the cushion has a tag on it that reads: The chairs measures as follows: Back height = 32.5" to the top center and it is 34.25" to the top of the wooden ball Overall depth = 20" Seat height = 18" Seat depth = 18" These have straight backs that connect in the center and curve outwards. Each back section has two rods with wooden beads making up the back rest. These are held in place by metal rods at the top and bottom. The seats have a front triangular design. The cushions on these have multiple layers of fabric. The top layer is a golden yellow damask that appears to be in good condition as far as stains and tears. This listing is for a nice Corner Notch Kirk arrowhead made from a really nice piece of high-gloss Coshocton flint. This point is from Licking County. OH. It displays some really exceptional flaking. See the photos. It has a Certificate of Authenticity(COA) by William Barrett. This point measures 2.7 X 1.1 inches. It is from the Early to Middle Archaic period dating between 9.000 to 6,000 years before the present time. I purchased this nice arrowhead from Allen Harbuck( Pickerington. Up for sale is a beautiful. Rare 1950's bow front china cabinet made of mahogany. It has glass doors at the top and solid doors at the bottom. There are two shelves at the top, three counting the bottom of the cabinet and two shelves at the bottom. It is 70"H x 36" across the front from corner to corner in straight line and 19" from back to front. There is dentil molding around the top. There is a drawer in the center. It has a key. Vtg Kentucky Crafted Handmade Large Walnut Corner Cabinet Cupboard
I had this lovely huge piece of furniture made for me when I was in Kentucky in 1984. I commissioned a retired woodworker who was about 70+ years old at the time and he lived near Clinton. KY.for the life of me, I can't remember his name but his work is some of the the best wood craftsmanship I have ever seen. I brought him a picture in Country Living magazine of a corner cabinet that I wanted and he made it to the exact specs. I was more than thrilled to see it when he finished. I moved to New Mexico in 1993 and this has been with me every since. I am downsizing and really have to have this beautiful cabinet sold as it is no longer a piece that I need. It is large and heavy and takes 2-3 men to move it. The doors. Drawer and top(dental work carving top) can be removed. The front and partial sides are made of solid walnut. Thick grade. ... moreIt will hold a large TV.that is what I had it made for years ago when the TV's had a"bubble back" The far back sides which are out of view are made of Walnut thick grade plywood. This cabinet is still in remarkable condition even after being in the New Mexico dry weather all these years. The only things I should point out are minor but nonetheless I want to inform you. I drilled a hole(about 1 inch) in the far back middle and lower to accept the tv plug(you can see the holes in the pictures) and also at the rear of the top shelf there is a small hole drilled so that I could connect the tv to the VHS player. Also. The bottom side piece of walnut molding came off and I screwed it back in although there are no visible screw holes anywhere in this cabinet. The doors(lower and upper) have about a 1/4" gap of space between them. It may have been like this all along and you can probably decrease that space by adjusting the hinges. It's certainly nothing detracting but I just want you to know all that I see with the cabinet. Measurements are: 7' tall. Front is 43.5" wide and both angle sides are 6.75" wide. Bulova vintage cut corner ladies watch, 10K gold filled - NICE and it runs
Bulova watch face is about 1/2 inch square. The style is called cut corner. I wound the watch and it kept time(I tracked it for 2 hours and 15 minutes) But I can't guarantee it would keep time for longer periods. Watch shows some wear. It is difficult to see in the pictures, but it says BULOVA on the part you where you wind the watch. On the back is has 8624779 and 10K GOLD FILLED BULOVA. Lovely little watch.
