Antique Inlaid Display Cabinet. For auction is an antique circa 1920's display cabinet with wood inlaid swags and inlaid details in warm medium wood tones! The cabinet has 2 removable glass shelves as well as the bottom of the cabinet to display china(I displayed my antique French Limoges) Collectibles or smaller dolls. The cabinet stands 40 1/2" tall on pencil legs ending with small wheel casters x 17 3/4" wide x 14 3/4" deep. The back of the interior cabinet was wood. I cut a piece of cardboard and covered it with upholstery material for a backdrop to suit my china collection. You can use the cabinet as is with my fabric. Recover this piece with different fabric or add a mirror to the back. The single glass door has a brass keyhole. I bought the cabinet with an antique key. This triple door bookcase offers a tremendous amount of storage and display space for that special collection of books or displaying those special collectibles. This cabinet measures 55 inches in height.61 inches wide and 13 inches deep and weighs approximately 150 lbs. The inside offers 12 original adjustable shelves that each measure 18 3/4 inches wide by 11 1/4 inches deep. Antique Oak Bow Front China Curio Display Cabinet 4 Shelves
Very nice antique bow front china cabinet. It is made of oak and has 4 shelves. It is in good condition with some imperfections-it has a small hole that was cut out of the back and patched with veneer-you can't see it from the front as the bottom shelf is right in front of it. There is a slight separation of the wood on the top as seen in picture. The side pieces are glass; however. The door has a piece of Lexan in it-this was placed because curved glass is very expensive. Lexan is a very tough polycarbonate that is barely distinguishable from glass-you really cannot tell the difference when you look at it. I was told it is easy to take care of but not to use paper towels or ammonia on it. Of course, you could always replace it with glass if you didn't like it. It has a key, but it doesn't lock. Overall, these imperfections are ... morenot that noticeable-I just like to be up front and point everything out. It is a beautiful piece and great for a dining room or any room for displaying your collectibles. Measurements: 37 1/2"W x 14 3/8"D x 58 5/8"T. We purchased this about 25 years ago at an antique auction in southern California. More pictures coming! Back wall is mirrored and shelves are glass. The glass door pieces are solid glass with wood overlay. Skeleton key lock. Cabriole legs and a fan type crown on top. Measurements approximate in inches: 40 wide x 17 deep x 72 height. Condition: Minor wear. The lock is a sliding lock with key. It is a little difficult to catch on the top edge. It looks like it may have had a different lot at one time. One glass shelf has a corner broken off and is on the bottom. There are some scuffs on the lower edge where the doors open and close. Inspections are encouraged and welcome. Beautiful applied carvings and tiny egg& dart carvings accent the original beveled mirrors on the gallery with vertical rope twist borders flanking the side glass of the cabinet.This antique cabinet has its original shaped shelves inside of oak each having double plate groves for display that special plate collection. There are three fixed shelves that each measure 34 inches wide at the widest point and are 19 inches deep front to back.
