Here is a very nice china hutch cabinet. It has a lighted display case top. TOTAL HEIGHT IS: 73 1/2 INCHES TALL. The upper section is 45 inches tall. 42 1/2 inches wide and 12 3/4 inches deep. It has one opening door in the middle that allows access to each side of the top section. Has glass shelves that set into wood trim supports. The shelves have the plate holder slot in them. Hand planing and chisel marks. Traditional moldings and carved wooden pegs at the joints are authentic on this historic furniture from France. The old finish has warm antique patina. Waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain its rich glow is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are various restorations over the centuries. The glass cabinets have been lined with red velvet by previous owner. The velvet is only tacked in and can be easily removed. All three doors lock with the same key. Glass is original and without cracks or chips. LIKE NEW CONDITION ONLY $898.00 They don't make furniture like this anymore since Thomasville has discontinued making its furniture in the U.S. The new price back in 1996 was $6.000, which was the most expensive cabinet from Thomasville. I purchased it directly from an authorized Thomasville furniture store. It was a lone piece and did not come with a dining room table and chairs. It stands alone as the best work of American furniture craftsmanship. Beautiful traditional style cherry wood with beveled curved glass doors and curved front drawers. In-laid cherry wood designs. Bronze hinges and even the knobs are ... morebronze and cherry wood. This classic cabinet comes in two sections so it can be more easily moved. The top section measures approximately 70 inches by 52 inches and has two adjustable glass shelves. The bottom section has 2 doors with stationary shelves measures approximately 72 inches by 31 inches. With curved pull out drawers and flat doors on both sides. The top drawer is brown felt-lined designed to hold your best silver ware and other collectibles. The overall measurements 6 feet in width, 7 feet in height and the depth is approximately 17 inches with the curved front. I do not know the exact weight of both sections, but I would estimate they weigh about 300 lbs each. The lighting system was ahead of its time. Touch the bottom right door hinge of the far right door and it automatically turns on the lights illuminating the interior of the cabinet. Touch it again. And the lights dim up and touch it again for the highest illumination setting. Touch it a fourth time and it turns the lights off. Works perfectly. Artistic hand detailing is beautiful. The old finish is very well preserved. There are minor mars at the edges various irregularities from age and a long mar on the lower left side. See photos. Featuring lovely arched glass doors with a mirrored and lit interior as well as flame mahogany oval panels, this breakfront is sure to enhance the beauty of any collection that is placed inside it. One of the most prominent ... morefeatures of this piece are the three flame mahogany oval panels on the lower doors. The wood grain on these is so beautiful! Behind each of these doors is a removable wooden shelf. Another distinguishing feature of this breakfront china cabinet are the arched glass doors on top. Behind them are three adjustable glass shelves in each section. These shelves adjust via a brass pin and hole system. The cabinet does have lighting but it would need to be rewired to work on US circuits. The top also has a mirrored back making whatever you display inside even more impressive. All of the doors lock and a single key is included. This cabinet does come apart into two sections(top and bottom) for easier moving. The shelf depth of the glass shelves is 10.25″ Overall this piece is in very good condition. There are light wear marks around the feet. One glass shelf has a very small chip on the back edge that you will not see unless you take the shelf out of the cabinet. The top of the lower section has sustained some surface scratches which we have included pictures of. These are relatively minor issues and overall the cabinet has survived the years in great shape. Please note: This is a 1:24 scale piece. Which means 1/2" = a foot. It is smaller than the more common 1:12 scale. This lovely 1:24 scale Bespaq china cabinet is from recently purchased old stock. I've listed it as used because it was a display piece in a miniature shop some years back and has since been in storage. The piece is in excellent used condition. Cabinet feature 4 working doors.
