I hauled this out of the basement of an old home, and it is showing some age ... morewear, most notably with a couple slices out of drawer faces. There is slight pull away of the dovetailing on the bottom, but I think you could probably carefully tap it back into place. The previous owner did a very slap-up job of putting a dark stain on it, so the finish is somewhat inconsistent, you can see the oak in places inside, and there are faint watermarks on top, but I honestly love the look and character of this piece, and it's completely solid and functional. All four metal sliders are still inside, though they are a little stiff/rusty. Measures about 16" x 13 1/2" x 9 1/2".

It works smoothly and is nice and solid. There is a partial maker's label which appears to be redish with a gold border. The letters that can be somewhat read appear to be"cide" or"eis" Measures: approximately 15" deep x 7" wide x 5.5" high. Drawer holds 3" x 5" cards. MACEY ONE PIECE OAK FILE FILING CABINET DCUMNT & BIG CARD FILE SECTIONS
FOLKS, It's been 3 years since we been lucky enough to have a"one piece" MACEY Tiger Oak File with interchangeable sections of various file styles. The grain pattern of the tiger oak are awesome. The finish has a medium rich honey hue. I believe this is an early model because the cuts of the solid tiger appear a little thicker than others we've had. There are two sections with two document holders with compression panels. The other two sections each have rare filing drawers measuring from the inside 11 1/4" wide. 4 3/4" high and 17 1/2" deep with compression panels also. Overall dimensions of this treasure are 15" wide. 21" deep and 55" high. Just remove the screw on the top of each section and you can change where the sections go for your preference! The the solid brass hardware is original ... moreand is all there. The"Macey" decal is top and center and a bit faded from over 100 year of use. Professionally palleted crating. The cabinet is constructed of quarter sawn oak and the individual drawers have oak fronts and(I think) maple bottoms/sides. The drawers are made with dovetailed construction. The previous owner put a removeable masonite bottom on almost all drawers which was more suitable than the metal slides for dividers for storing small items(see photos of a few different drawers. A couple of the drawers have adjustable dividers. Most are plain. All of the hardware is present with the exception of one drawer pull. The back is open but the drawers have stops and they will not push through. If the unit goes against a wall. A back would not be necessary. This is an Antique very nice Solemakers Library Bureau 4 drawer Oak card file cabinet in good condition. The fingerjoints are the old hand done ones with the extra detail on the back panel which leads me to believe it is probably pre 1900. The hardware and Solemakers Tag are all original brass with a natural tarnished patina. The interior slides are not with the box but the interior is clean and in good shape. The finish was cleaned a bit and a new top coat of shellac applied. There is some fading to the original color on one side with the rest in a good original light to medium oak shade. There are some use marks primarily to the top but the cabinet is in good condition and a good looking piece of furniture. Vintage Wood 6 Drawer Cabinet Card Catalog File Box Industrial Antique Office
This is a vintage wooden filing cabinet with six drawers. Measures approximately 10.5 X 14.5 X 14 All of the drawers function the way they are supposed to. There are signs of use and age. There seems to be paint stains on the side of box. Wood is also splitting a little bit on one side. Could use some TLC. Please refer to photographs for more details.

Vintage Dark Gray Metal Single Drawer 6 x 9 Card File Catalog Awesome Steampunk or Loft Storage! These cabinet is in great shape. Has a few minor scratches, but nothing major. No dents, no rust. Handle is tight and in good shape. Drawer works easily. Sliding backstops work great too! One cushion foot is missing. But that's an easy fix. Measures 10-1/2" wide x 17" deep x 8-1/2" high. Good size drawer made to hold 6 x 9 cards. These are made to stack together with the tab that keeps them there! It is big and heavy. So I am estimating shipping to be $15.00. FedEx will probably be the most economical way to send these, but I will refund any difference over $4.00. Please take a minute to check out my! A 12 1/2" by 13" by 8" four drawer Sole Makers Library Bureau made of quarter sawn(tiger) oak. The 4 drawers are made to fit 3" by 5" cards. This piece is quality made with hand worked dovetails. Paneled back, quality workmanship throughout, two of the draws have the original inserts that would be adjusted front or back depending on how full the draw was, these inserts are both labeled"Library Bureau" with patent dates listed for New York/ Chicago, Boston/ Washington, and Philadelphia/ London, the dates range from March 15, 1892, to May 26, 1903. The condition of this cabinet is remarkably good with just a few minor issues which can be seen in the photos.one of the drawers has been glued on the bottom toward the back, there is a small chip out of the wood on each corner in the bottom back(where you really ... morehave to look hard to see them) the wood and finish show really little wear for the age, the wood has darkened more toward the back than in the front. Antique Yawman & Erbe Mfg. Wood Library File Card Index Catalog Cabinet Dovetail
Up for auction is this great Yawman& Erbe index card holder. As you can see from the pictures the piece could use a little love but it is extremely solid- the drawers open and shut as designed and the tab to support the index cards will move back and forth as supposed to. Aside from the small area on the back of the piece where a piece of the wood chipped off. All of the original wood is in nice condition. Very nice quality dovetailing on the top and bottom of the piece as well as on the front and back of each drawer. The overall dimension of the piece are 15" wide x 17' deep x 6" tall.
