This Ethan Allen piece is part of the Classic Manor Collection. It is in good condition. However it does show some wear on the formica top. As pictured there is some cloudiness that I am told can be removed. There is also some chipping on the edges as you can see in the pictures. It appears that someone painted the inside. The solid maple wood itself is in very good condition with very minor wear. The piece measures 42" x 20 1/2" x 33" and opens to 63" x 20 1/2" with top extended. Finished sides and back. This is one of the few pieces left from Jaray Furniture of Vienna. Beautiful Art Deco era. Measurements approximate in inches: Cabinet is 31.25 wide x 25.25 height x 13.5 depth. Stand: 35.5 wide x 32.5 height x 16 depth. The firm history from The Jaray family website: The book"Möbel des Jugendstils" by Vera J. Behal. Available at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts bookstore, contains information on Sigmund Jaray with photos of some of the furniture he built. Sigmund Jaray started the company in 1870. Felix Jaray took over in 1922 and the company was dissolved in 1933. The few known pieces are in museums or the UNOG(United Nations) in Geneva. Beautiful quality with mirror back inside. Contrasting trim on the drawers. Walnut wood veneer on the cabinet similar to waterfall furniture of the time. Beautiful dovetail and quarter round trim. Condition: There are two pieces of the quarter round frame on the front cabinet doors missing. One piece is included inside. This has been kept out of the light. The Greek key banding center is entirely hand carved not applied. This is a recent old estate find that has been privately held since purchased in the twenties. The cabinet is a great size big enough to cover the basics and small enough to fit most spaces. This will look spectacular fitted out. All the chrome pieces are original and intact. This Antique barcabinet is from the Arts and Crafts movement. The bar opens up in two parts. The upper section doors swing wide open to reveal cup shelves and bottle holders also has a white stone cooling counter top(possibly porcelain) The bottom portion of this cabinet features an ice chest with a grated shelf. The bottom portion features a lazy Susan styled bottle holder. Door holds poker chips with a playing card deck slot. Both parts of the cabinet have lock and key entry(keys not included) Wood has dark tiger maple wood effect throughout the cabinet actual wood used is undetermined. Just looking at it is an awe inspiring sight. Even with the original bun feet missing it measures 94" wide x 90" tall x 28" deep. It does show from wear for its age. Which we have been told is late 19th century to early 20th century. It comes apart into 3 large pieces, to make easier to move. It has a large cabinet base with four elaborately carved base relief paneled doors ornamented with elaborate classical& mythical figures. The base has concealed drawers whose fronts are carved with panels of dolphin like figures. Columns with foliate capitals are set across the front, surmounted by drawers with carved faces or masks flanked with wings or draperies. ... moreLarger columns support a deep cornice fronted with carved panels ornamented with reclining nude figures.
