Two 14" Victorian Wood Legs never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. They look like maple and are in very good condition. The tops are 2" by 2" and about 3 1/2" at the widest. They also have a small flat spot on them that's hard to see in the photos. I got them from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.

It is very dimensional and super decorative. The shape is wonderful. But there are a few surface splinters where it was detached from its original location. These are mostly on the back side, so they are not very noticeable viewed from the front. There are no other cracks or breaks. It measures about 16-1/4” wide x 5" height x 1-3/4” depth with a weight of 10 ounces. There are no marks on this piece. So I have no idea of the maker or origins. Thanks for looking. 8 Vintage NOS Caster Brackets Antique Furniture Wheel Hardware Repair Parts
8 Replacement Caster Mounting Brackets/Sockets NOS with signs of age Most common size(these will most likely fit yours) See ruler in pictures for size comparison Approximately 1 3/16" tall Hole diameter is 3/8" I have two types of casters included in this lot- one set of four that appear to be newer and made of a thinner gauge steel and the other lot of four(the ones with signs of corrosion) are old replacements which have a heavier gauge steel(very strong) They are the same size and will work the same you just might want to use them on different applications. When installing: First check to see if your caster fits the bracket- then take it out but make sure to pinch the flanged tube of the bracket back in place with pliers(that's what holds your caster in the bracket) Now if your caster stem fits in ... morethe hole and extends past the tube of the bracket. At all, your caster fits- Even if it has play up and down, it's OK, many wheels have varying stem lengths, the important thing is that the wheels/casters don't fall out.they will still spin freely which is what your going for(you don't usually need to lift your dresser leg off of the ground.So you don't have to worry about vertical play) If the stem of your caster is two long for the hole of your furniture leg just drill it deeper with a bit the size of the bracket tube. Next center the bracket evenly in the hole of the furniture leg you're working with. Then tap the toothed portion of the bracket into the wood with a hammer- it won't get flush with the wood but it should be pretty snug, then put your caster in. Your set!

Group Lot Vintage Metal Antique Furniture Casters Wood Wheels Odd Lot
This is a group of 14 vintage furniture casters-an odd lot of metal caster with a wood wheel. There are no mounting sleeves. The top 4 measure approx 1" in diameter. The middle row about 1 18" and the bottom 3 about 1 14" in diameter. There is wear, and some of the wheels are flat on one side, but none are broken through. All of the stems appear to be about the same size to fit into a standard metal sleeve. There might be enough to make a set of 4, but no 4 exactly alike-this is the last of the"restoration" casters that I had in a drawer for many years.
