Oak Plant Stand Artisan Made from Upcycled Components of Antique Furniture
I bought this plant stand many years ago from an elderly gentleman who upcycled unrepairable antique furniture into functional pieces. It is 21" high. The top is 7 3/4" in diameter and 3/4" thick. The diameter of the base is 11 3/4" It is very sturdy and does not tip with normal use. Although I always placed a saucer under my plants. There is some water damage to the finish on the top. You can also see where the craftsman used dowels to plug holes on the spindle where it once attached to other parts of the original piece of furniture.

This is an Antique Wooden Unfinished Oak Leaf Scrollwork Furniture Salvage Moulding Molding. The grain looks like oak and I am fairly sure that is the correct attribution for the type of wood. The overall maximum dimensions of the molding are about 9 3/4" x 4" As found. The piece has four small brads or nails protruding from the back. I am opting to leave them in place and leave it up to the buyer to remove them as they see fit. I do not know what type of furniture this piece was used on nor specifically how old it is. At the time of the original listing. This was one of a number of new antique and vintage woodenware listings being added. Three of these are for items of an architectural/ furniture salvage nature, and the rest are boxes and other complete wooden items. This Sturdy Mirror is in very nice condition. With no real damage, although there IS some slight separation at some corners, and a bit of wear, appropriate for its age, but no real damage to speak of. Perfect for a large wall or hallway. This was made to hang horizontally OR vertically. And has hangars attached to hang it either way. This is probably from the turn of the century. Possibly 1910-1930, but I can't be certain. The New Orleans Furniture Manufacturing Co was in business from the late 1800's, so it could be older. But again, I really don't know. The back has a" New Orleans Furniture Mfg Co" sticker. As you can see in the photos. This ... morelooks great. And has NO real damage that I can find. If you look closely at the frame, you'll see there's a fine line, or'split' along one side. This appears to have been in the wood from when this was made, and there's a'repair' holding the frame together. I'm sure there's NO danager of the split getting any worse. Please see the pics. Which are all of the actual mirror) MEASUREMENTS: 28 1/ 4" Wide X 22 1/4" Tall. With Frame. The actual mirror(opening in frame) is 23 3/8" x 17 7/8" The wood frame is right at 2 3/8" Wide all around& 1" Deep. And there is decoration at the top& sides which make the frame a bit taller/wider. this is fairly heavy at appx 14# shipping weight is appx 22 pounds when safely packed& boxed) As you see in the pictures. Here is a wonderful vintage jewelry dresser that will make someone very happy this Valentines day! It stands 40.5" tall and is 19.5" wide. It was hand crafted in Hagerstown MD by the Brandt furniture Co. It features four drawers that slide in and out very smoothly. The drawers are lined with red velvet. The are locks on the drawers but I do not have the keys. This is a solid wood piece(I believe its oak) that has a red oak finish. Im not exactly sure what style it depicts? At first glance it looks French style to me but the pulls look a bit Asian. I'm not typically a furniture guy but this piece is definitely and unique enough where I decided to give it a try. THE WOOD IS BEAUTIFULLY CARVED AND CREATES AN INCREASING IN SIZE TIERS TO LEAD UP TO THE MAIN HALF CIRCULAR TOP SHELF. THIS HAS BEAUTIFUL CARVING ON THE PEDIMENT AND WOULD COMPLIMENT ANY ROOM. ON THE BACK OF THE PEDIMENT, THERE ARE TWO HOLES FOR HANGING. THE TOP SHELF MEASURES 11" X 7" X 1 1/2" THE SHELF MEASURES 13" TALL. This easel is certainly a High Style example of Victorian furnishings with a wonderful wood grain. The wood may be neither of the above mentioned but I will guarantee it to be at the very least. The painting resting platform/tray is missing from this structure however the mounting holes from the rear are visible and of course can be utilized when constructing a replacement. The easel back adjustable leg(which was I presume a rectangular long board) is missing but the original unique hinged hardware allowing for the easels stance is still in place ready to use(See Photo's) NOTE: This easel is a great example worthy of restoration. The hardware and the screws are the original that started life on this easel including the brass rounded head screws seen on the side of each column. Beautiful ANTIQUE Oak Side TABLE DESK FURNITURE Adjustible Home Decor
This is a unique antique side table with cast iron base and oak wood top. It is made to slide under a bed or couch and be used as a desk while you are sitting in bed. The neck pipe and nut at the neck have been replaced; and one of the wooden caster wheels has also been replace. All the other parts and hardware are original. I think the oak wood top may have been sanded and restained. Two of the corners of the table top are chipped on the bottom corners(see photos) It stands 32" tall(and can be adjusted by several inches) 27" long and 18" wide. It's most likely older than that. The designs are really beautiful in the wood. The chair measures 38 1/2" tall. 25 1/2" wide. It has some small marks here and there but overall. It's sturdy and very solid with no cracks. It's always been kept in a dry and non smoking environment. The upholstery could use some refurbishing. It needs more padding. Charlie Hummel, was in the furniture business- with the same business name- in Orwigsburg(Schuylkill County) Pennsylvania(at several different locations over the years- until the store was closed late in 2011) This great display piece is in good vintage condition.
