The two glass shelves are not adjustable-measures 12-1/2" from the base of the inside of the cabinet to the top of the bottom glass shelve as does the second glass shelve. This is an antique china cabinet curio closet with the rounded curved or bowed glass. It is one of the larger ones. I'm not an expert on antiques so I do not know how old. It has been in my family ever since I can remember. When I acquired it. We had it refinished and it has been in our dining room ever since. It has been well taken care of. We are now remodeling that room and we are now selling the china cabinet. The item does have to be carried down a few steps depending on which way is decided is best to go with it. Vintage Antique Oak Sideboard Buffet Cabinet China Hutch N1732 original finish
This is a very nice Antique that has been in the family for around 100 years. It measures 59 1/2 inches long X 21 1/2 inches deep X 39 1/2 inches high in the front and 61 inches high in the back. I do not know the manufacturer but it has the number N1732 stamped on the back. The oak wood has never been refinished and is all original. It is in excellent condition for its age with only a few repairable items: the small right side mirror has a small crack. One of the front wheels is bent and it has a small wood chip on the left side. May be picked up locally or freight arranged by the buyer after the sale is complete.

This is a very nice antique china cabinet. My wife bought it over 30 years ago from an antique shop. It has the original rolled glass in the doors. There are no markings on it that I can see so we don't have any historical information about it. We believe it is a primitive style. Over 100 years old. It appears to have the original hardware. It is in very good condition. There is a small piece missing from the crown molding in the right front corner when facing the cabinet. You can see from the attached pictures. There are 2 stationary shelves behind the glass inlaid doors and 2 stationary shelves behind the lower 2 cabinet doors. We no longer have any room for it so we would like to sell it. This is an large antique china cabinet curio closet with the rounded curved or bowed glass. It is one of the larger ones. I'm not an expert on antiques so I do not know how old. It has been in my family ever since I can remember. I acquired it and it has been in our dining room ever since. It has been well taken care of. We are now remodeling that room and we are now selling the china cabinet. Measurements are: height 63 1/8" width 45 7/8" depth 13" It is solid oak. The inside has shelves with slots for plates. This is an antique oak china cabinet. It is from aprox the 1920's. It has curved glass on the sides and claw feet on all four legs. As you can see by the pictures it is in excellent shape. I could not really find any flaws to point out. The key is here and the lock works. Even the back is in great shape. Much of the wood is quarter sawn or some people call it tiger oak. That kind of wood is very desirable. It is aprox 60" tall and 36" wide amd about 14" deep. This china cabinet is located in Torrance. California which is in the Los Angeles area. The top cabinet is for china, with two adjustable removable shelves, a spindled gallery below is for plate display. The center door panel has a fine carving of a wicker basket of nuts tied with bow knot ribbon above scrolling leaves. The cabinet below has two drawers for flatware and napkins, with fancy cast brass pulls. The two doors open to a compartment for linens with a stationary removable shelf. There are turned and fluted pillars on the front corners, two bun fronted feet. Includes the fancy brass escutcheons, locks, and the key. The glass is new. A most unusual antique. Circa 1890's, quartersawn oak three door china cabinet(may be used as a bookcase) with a base compartment across for linens. One piece construction. The three doors open to a compartment that has five adjustable shelves across. There is a key for the doors with brass escutcheons(the left door is missing the lock. The cornice, upper door frames, and the base front, are deeply carved. It measures 6'8" 80" tall by 5'5" 65" wide by 22" deep, the plate grooved shelves 5-1/2" deep. Very good plus condition: original finish, oak boards without damage(horizontal crack to the very top board. All three original wavy glass panels are fine.

It measures 17.75" tall including the decorative top piece. It's almost 9" wide. It has an interesting drawer that seems to be an old thick cardboard matchbox with neat metal reinforced back corners. In nice shape with a long wood chip on one back corner that measures 5.5" long. Also the glass needs replaced. I purchased it in 1975 and it's been in a smoke free home for about 39 years. What makes it so unique and rare is that it has 4 sides of curved glass which I believe to be all original. The door. The right side and the left short side are curved glass. Most other cabinets have a straight side on the inner side. Also, the small door on the bottom left side is curved glass. I have 2 glass shelves for the inside of the right side of the cabinet also. All of the pieces that hold the rail on the top of the cabinet are there. However I don't have the nails that hold it in place. I'm sure those would be easy to replace. On the left cabinet side: The drawer pulls are what came on it. I'm not sure if the ... more2 inner pulls are original or not. The others seem to be. The drawers are in good condition. The 2 small bottom doors show more wear with a crack in each side. There is a broken off leg but I do have it as seen laying on the wood bracing the cabinet in the picture. The small glass door opening has a small wooden shelf inside with an inward curve in the front which can be removed. The door also has a pull that came on it that I'm not sure is original. The top ornate piece on the left of the cabinet is in very good condition but a little loose as is the top decorative piece on the top right side. Both pieces have never been off of the cabinet. They just need to be secured. The wood in that part is very pretty in color. The spindles on the left side are in very good condition also. The cabinet measures approx 66" in height to the top of the brass rail; approx 75" in height to the top of the ornate top piece; approx 55" in width and approx 24" deep. This is a very lengthy description. But I want to point out as much as I can. Hand planing and chisel marks. Traditional moldings and carved wooden pegs at the joints are authentic on this historic furniture from France. The old finish has warm antique patina. Waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain its rich glow is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are various restorations over the centuries. The crown is removable for easier moving. Doors have a working double throw lock and key. Old but not original. Massive lift off hinges are original. Due to the contrast between the ornate front and the plain sides. It most likely was built in or recessed into a nook in the wall during it’s original use. The total height is 7 feet 2 ½ inches. For easier moving. The piece comes apart just above the top row of drawers. A good thing too. Since it is solid wood– no laminate as best I can tell, and very heavy! Dimensions: Total height: 7 feet. 2 ½ inches tall(separates into two sections) Top section. Down to flat surface below columns: 54 inches Bottom section. Drawers and doors: 33 inches Width: 5 feet 3 inches across Depth at center front: 22 inches Depth at sides: 15 ½ inches Opening ... morein front of large center mirror: 33 inches tall Opening in front of smaller side mirrors: 14 inches tall Here’s what I know: The wooden shelves are ¾ inch thick and are adjustable on the original saw tooth shelf supports. They are not pressed wood. The glass in the doors of the top section are leaded. A couple of glass sections have cracks. But no glass is missing. Over all. For it’s age and gentle use, this piece is in remarkably good condition. It was refinished in the early 80’s. The drawer pulls and hinges were purchased new at that time. And put through an“antiquing” process to better compliment the age of the piece. The large mirror in the center has beveled edges. But I believe the mirror finish was stripped and a newer mirror placed behind it, leaving a clear beveled glass in front. The two smaller mirrors on each side do not have beveled edges. There are some circle stains on the flat wooden surface. Due to condensation from water glasses. I don’t know the age of this cabinet. But I’ve owned it for the past 35 years.
