Here is a nice vintage all metal kitchen cabinet/ cupboard. It has a top unit that is attached with sliding catches. Has a nice diamond pattern backer between the base and top units. The hinges are all good. The 2 drawer slides are good. All 4 door catches are good and made of all metal(this is an oldie) It is about 69 inches tall. 30 inches wide, and 20 inches deep The countertop is porcelain over metal and the rest is painted metal. There are some small ding dents but nothing too serious. There is some paint loss(see photos) I do not see any other damages. Breaks, alterations, or repairs. It has some paint loss- see photos for cosmetic condition. Sold as a display/collector item. But appears to be in good usable condition. Local pick-up is preferred. 11 pcs Antique Number Plates. Your bid buys the lot. The base metal is soft.Maybe zinc or lead? It appears that they were then brass plated and then nickel plated on top of the brass.They have small amounts of nickel remaining. They will bend to conform to a pole or a rounded surface. My thinking is that these were on lockers of some sort or maybe typeset drawers or some other industrial drawers. They measure 3" x 3/4" and are a little more than 1/16" thick. This medicine cabinet came from my 1897 Victorian farmhouse in the VA mountains. It was still on the wall in the bathroom under the eaves over the kitchen. I believe that bath was installed sometime in the 1920's. Cabinet appears to have been repainted one time. It is in good working order with a great original glass and brass turn knob. Please review photos carefully. There are a few areas of chipping white paint and several areas of rust inside. The silvering of the mirror has worn down the right side. Beveled mirror is installed crooked. It appears that could be corrected. Although the screws and nuts holding the mirror in have been painted over. 2 original wall screws are included with the cabinet and pictured. Beautiful Antique Early 1900's Steel Office 40 Drawer Vertical File Cabinet Original dark green paint with all of the original Ornate Brass number plates. And it even has most of the Original old antique paper number tags. 3 or 4 of the paper tags were replaced. But they are very hard to tell apart from the original ones. These Antique Vertical file cabinets are scarce. When you do see one. They will rarely have the ornate brass number plates, and many times the brass on the drawers will not all match.but this cabinet has all it's orignal ornate brass number plates. And they all match. There is also a brass locking lever shown in pictures that slides out and extends a locking mechanism into the back of the 40 drawers. Please note that in order for the locking system to work correctly it needs to extend below the cabinet. so if buyer ... morewants the drawers to lock.the cabinet would need to set up off the floor about 1" leaving a space under the cabinet for the system to extend down into the back of each drawer and below the steel bottom. Blocks on the bottom of the 4 corners could be one option. Or we could also fabricate 4"feet" for the cabinet for a small added fee. If this is desired by buyer please write us. Vintage Antique Industrial Metal Medicine Cabinet for Dentist or Medical Doctor
Check out this white metal medicine cabinet that probably at one time graced a doctor's or dentist's office! It breaks down into four sections- a two shelf compartment at the top with a glass door; an open shelf in the middle; a drawer with a slightly off-center divider; and a two-shelf cabinet below with a metal door. The three handles are chrome. And the upper door glass is fitted with a wire reinforcement in a diamond pattern. So here are some measurements: It's about 63¾" tall. 21" wide, and 14" deep. The upper door opening is about 18½" x 19" and each shelf has about 10 inches of headroom. The open shelf is 9" tall and the drawer is about 3½" deep. And in the lower compartment, the top shelf has about 11" headroom, and the lower chelf about 16½" It has areas ... morethat have substantial paint loss. Especially the very bottom shelf and the bottom area at the back, which have suffered some heavy rusting. From my(mom's! home. late 40's or 50's when they'remodeled' their bathroom. This unique old white metal medicine cabinet has a double light socket that shines through a plastic cover. Mirror has chrome trim around the edges and is in excellent condition. It is a very sturdy and well-made cabinet. with a few small signs of'rust' on the shelves. Also. There is a broken spot on the top bracket- I've tried to show the'good' side& bad side in 6th& 7th photos. I'm sure someone handy could fix it with no problem. It measure 16" wide by 20-3/4" high. But it looks like from the 1940's. It is painted red but we think it was blue originally as you can see some blue paint around the edges where the red paint has flaked off. The bottom is also blue. The drawers have surface rust on the inside as you can see in the pictures. It is a unique cabinet in that have two large drawers on the bottom and a smaller cabinet on top. It's all connected and one piece! Pretty cool! The bottom section is approximately 14.5" wide x 9" deep(larger) top section is 9.25" wide by 7.25" deep. The top bottom drawer does not open. There seems to be something on the inside that ... moreis sticking. On the back of this cabinet there is the original stenciling when it was blue- it says Red Cross plaster and Johnson and Johnson. The red paint appears to be old and covers it making it hard to see as you can see in the pictures above. The pull on the drawers are metal and there are a couple of them that are loose. This a cute. Unique little cabinet that can fit on a counter or table! There are nicks, scrapes, paint missing, chips, including edge wear as you can see in the pictures. It's really cool cabinet and a nice size. Antique Industrial Multidrawer Metal Cabinet ( made by BERGER, Canton Ohio)
BERGER VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL MULTIDRAWER METAL CABINET. This is a very hard to come by piece! Original painted finish and original brass hardware. The cabinet sits on a stand and it features three large drawers on the bottom. Twelve medium size drawers on the next stack, 8 smedium drawers on the next stack and a top piece that has slides in it(believe cover or something is missing on this stack) The very top piece is a decorative crown. On the sides the decal reads" BERGER CANTON OHIO, Steel Office Specialties" It is in very good condition(see pictures) with all drawers opening and sliding. IT MEASURES: 58" HIGH X 41" WIDE X 15" DEEP and is American. Early to mid 20th century. The crown on the very top stands out a few inches and it measures 17 inches deep.

To the left is seven drawers with original chrome pulls which has an apothecary style to it because of the different sizes of the drawers. The cabinet is on four swivel original casters which makes it easy to move around. While it is in style now with its"chippy" paint and shabby color. It would be well worth refurbishing it. The paint finish is rough. Paint is scratched and missing in areas to reveal a battleship gray color underneath. It does have some dings and dents which add to the character. Up for auction is a set of 7 Antique Steel Vintage Industrial Storage Metal Drawers Card Filing Cabinet. Three of the drawers have the slant front and the other 4 have straight fronts. Great for décor or put them back to work. Outside measurement is 4 3/4" wide x 22 1/2" long. Backs have a lever to adjust the back where you need it and all work as they were intended. We will wipe these down before shipping. Typical wear for items this old with marks here and there on the metal with some minor surface rust present also here and there.
