Antique Hoosier Style Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet Copper Counter Slag Glass Doors
Vintage Hoosier Style Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet w/Copper& Slag Glass Doors This is a gorgeous old kitchen'Hoosier style' cupboard. It has the base. The hutch and a beautiful copper topped counter that does indeed pull out on the base. The top hutch has three doors on the top part with leaded Slag Glass in green and white milk-glass. These appear to have been added to the doors some time ago when this piece appears to have been refinished. The lower part of the upper hutch have two larger wooden doors. The outside of the right door appears to have sustained surface water damage to it some time ago. The bottom base part has one large latching door on the left side that reveals a metal lined storage bin with one wire rack making a shelf in it. The right side has three drawers where the twop two right side drawers are in wood and the ... morebottom right drawer is lined in tin/metal. The counter is simply beautiful. The counter was resurfaced in a solid sheet of copper sometime ago when the entire piece was lightly refinished. The copper counter has a nice protective coat of varnish or poly on it as does the entire piece. The sheen is in a nice soft gloss. Not a shreakingly heavy gloss that makes one put on sunglasses just to look at it. This piece is on metal casters with wood wheels and is easy to move if needed. The drawer pulls appear to be original to the piece. However some of the upper hardware appears to have either been moved during the restoration or have been replaced. All the hardware appears to be correct for the piece, I just can not swear it is all orginal to the piece. The family reports that they just remember this piece being as it has always been so the restoration work done on this piece was done at least more than 40-50 years ago. If I were to keep this for my very own. I would be proud to display it in my own kitchen and show it as my own. Take that for what it is worth. I will gladly entertain reasonable offers. There is a slight chip on the inner threading at the top of the jar ... morebut the cover screws on nicely and it does not affect the cover at all. The glass has a sort of wavy look to it, the bottom is in good condition and there is a slightly raised circle in the center, there are no chips or cracks to the overall jar, it is quite heavy.weighing 3 1/2 lbs prior to packing. Antique "Hoosier" Style Flour Sifter Cabinet
I bought this in early 70's and around 1992 had it refinished with 3-4 layers of paint taken off to reveal lovely oak. The back was replaced when refinished. In good to very good condition. Includes a glass sugar jar that was never remounted. But has no top. Bottom drawer is tin, apparently for bread storage, as is the surface. Slats move fairly easily on grove, glued to old cloth strips.On far right(looking at it) there is a knob type gadget I have been told was for mounting a meat grinder on. I am moving and downsizing a great deal. I will not be responsible for moving and shipping it. But will gladly let your movers in!

Antique Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet Yellow & Green Enamel Top- Refurbished & Clean
Part of my collection an Antique Hoosier Cabinet. Found in a house clean out in Pa. The Cabinet was painted, I stripped and stained Cabinet and just waxed it with bees wax. The cabinet is beautiful. The enamel top is very nice with only very minimal nips on edges and some minor wear to work top, Butter yellow top with green edges, pulls out and locks into place from underneath. The back and bottom shelf under cabinet was replaced from age wear. Sturdy construction, just needs some bin pulls as the extra holes are present and magnets to hold doors shut. There are 2 side antique tin bread drawers and 2 center drawers. Has old glass knobs. The roll top rolls smoothly and intact. A real nice cabinet, I know I will never see another this nice. The Cabinet isn't to large at 68" tall and about 40" wide. There is also a vintage cutting ... moreboard that slides out. Just needs a few minor touches and you will have an Antique Hoosier in your Kitchen that everyone will admire.

selling a vintage original Hoosier/ Seller type flour bin with the original bracket, bin measures 26.5" high on the front side, bin measures 23.5" high on the back side- the top slants to the back, bin measures 10.75" wide, bracket measures 28.5" not including mounting bracket- springs can be added to help the loaded bin swing back in place glass is missing- but I have a piece that could be cut down. Antique Hoosier Cabinet Wood/Tin Flour Bin Sifter Complete and Ready for Use
This is a vintage Hoosier Cabinet Flour Sifter. This is an original piece and needs to be put back into a cabinet and put back to use. The item still has some of the original white paint on the wood with all the tin intact. The sifter unit has some rust but is intact and even has the original wood ball on the handle. I couldn't get the cap off for the picture and like most things on this piece needs some elbow grease and some attension but a solid piece to work from. Vintage Antique Hoosier Cabinet Hinges, latches Lot 2
This is the second lot of mostly Hoosier hinges and latches. I can tell you this lot is from the same bucket as the first lot. I did not seperate them. I actually just pulled stuff out and put them onto two seperate lots. There are other items in with the hoosier items. I am not sure what they went to. This is a lot from a gentleman that used to restore antique furniture. Some is all original, some is reproduction. These are used, and are as found. There could be dings, dirt, tarnish, paint etc on these items. Some maybe broke, or bent. I really don't know too much about these items. I can tell you there is a mixture some maybe Sellers, Hoosier, Boone, or other Hoosier type item. This is lot 1 of two lots of mostly Hoosier hinges. Latches, and handles. Some are Sellers some are Hoosier, some are Boone and I am sure probably some are other companies that made a form of the Hoosier Cabinet. I would say most of this is all Hoosier items, I have seen some other hinges, and I am not sure what they came from. These Hoosier hinges, actually have sold on here between 10.00 to 30.00 some for one item, some for 6 items. Great project for someone who knows Hoosiers to piece it out. Some are original some maybe reproduction. Some are in nice shape for the age, some are rusty, some maybe frozen, or bent, I am sure there is paint on them, or tarnish, scratches. This is an 8 piece collection gathered in the 1970's and 1980's while going to the antique advertising shows. Hoosier Poet Brand was distributed by the M O'Connor& Co. of Indianapolis and Bedford. A grocery wholesaler. Their headquarters was downtown in the wholesale district in what is now the Morrison Block building on South Meridian Street. James Whitcomb Riley was a famous poet from Greenfield and Indianapolis, Indiana. Some of his most famous poems are The Raggedy Man and Little Orphant Annie and he was adored by the public and children for his use of dialect in his poems. Since the 1880's, Riley had been the nation's most read poet, a trend that continued after the turn of the century. The popularity he achieved has not been surpassed by any poet since during their lifetime. He was painted by John Singer Sargent ... moreand T.C. Steele. Riley's image became a nationally known icon and many businesses capitalized on his popularity to sell their products. Hoosier Poet brand vegetable, spices and grocery items became a major trade name in the midwest. He died in 1916 so these tins are from the early 20th century. Sifter, and crank are all original and in perfect condition. There is some slight surface rust but it could be easily buffed out. It measures 10.5" deep, 11" wide, and 14" height; the bracket measures 3.75" diameter and is set 13" apart. The bracket can be removed by simple cotter pins. Antique Flour Bin for Hoosier Cabinet Nice Shape Metal Never Used 10x10x8
This is an old flour sifter for a Hoosier cabinet that is 10x10x8. This came from an old Iowa estate of an antique dealer that is now in a nursing home. I don't know how old this is but a good replacement if you need one. It is made of metal with a wooden knob on the handle. It has its cover over the bottom and it slides out and the lid lifts up. I have 2 of these listed and this is the shinier of the 2. Good Luck

One jar embossed"Coffee" measuring 7 inches tall; 4 inches in diameter at bottom. 2) is embossed"Salt" 5 inches tall; 2 1/4 inches in diameter at bottom. Salt jar has lid with perforation& a turn mechanism for closing when not in use. Some roughness at lip. 3) embossed for Ginger 5 inches tall& 2 3/8 inches in diameter at bottom. 4) is a 7 inch jar, not embossed. 4 inches in diameter at bottom.5&6) Spice Jars 4 inches tall; 1 3/4 inches in diameter at bottom. One solid lid& one with perforations for shaking. One has single spot of roughness on lip. Spice jars have blank space where a paper label could be attached to state contents. It measures about 4 3/4" long including handle. About 2 3/4" wide at wider end and about 2 3/4" tall at taller end. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple mild straw marks on the interior, done in the making. There is a slight bit of excess glass at mold seams on handle end, also done in the making. It has an attractive"pebbled" surface on scoop part and ribbed look on handle end. A great-looking and functional piece. NO RESERVE.
