Its made of either maple or poplar. Not sure which, but its developed a rich vintage patina from age and use. It had 2 holes that are drilled on the back panel for wall hanging. The mirror is quite cloudy and the paint is chipping off the back of the glass. It makes for a kind of haunted appearance when you look into it. The paint is very chipped and powdery. Like a whitewash. The cabinet portion has 3 shelves and is put together quite well. The latch is pretty primitive and doesn't hold together very well. The back of the piece is very warped and should probably be replaced. It's a sweet little cabinet to add to your shabby chic décor. It just needs a little love. Antique Victorian Era Tiger Oak Wall Hanging Cupboard Cabinet Beveled Mirror
Offering for your bidding consideration is this antique wall hanging cupboard. This all-original piece measures 21 ½ x 16 ½ x 7 inches. Made from solid ½ thick tiger oak. This cabinet looks to have been made on the farm by a skilled carpenter. The patina is original. Authentic and presents very well. The hardware is original to this piece and comes with the original key. I especially like the double-pedestal base and trim to give this piece a little extra flair. The mirror is original and beveled on the edges. The opening for the mirror features a chamfered edge which really helps to highlight the mirror. There is just a tad little bit of de-silvering on the mirror. Nothing serious. But enough to let you know it has been around. The mirror is free from any cracks or chips. Well made and sturdy, this piece is ready to hang.

Made of medium colored oak wood. The front has the original mirror. And come with lock and key. There are two hanging hooks on the back. Inside there is a single shelf. Measures 18" x 12 1/4" in the front. 15 1/2" x 11 1/4" in the back. And is 5 1/4" deep. This piece is in good condition. Please scroll down under this description for additional views. Circa 1920-1930 hanging medicine cabinet of painted wood with a mirror in the door and a metal towel rack hanging underneath. The distinctive towel rack on the bottom makes us think that is was actually from a barber shop. Overall height is 24" Width is 18" depth is 6" The cabinet itself is 17" high with an interior depth of 5" There are three shelves inside, two of the shelves have a lip on the front to prevent things from falling or rolling out. The crystal glass knob on the door is original and so is the mirror. The back section of the wooden gallery on top is a newer piece- obviously since it doesn't have a zillion old coats of paint on it! The silvering on the mirror does have some crazing and wear around the perimeter. This medicine cabinet ... morewas painted many times- once, someone painted right over a razor blade that was lying on the top. It would be a great little project to clean up and use in your own vintage bathroom. It would even work in a kitchen filled with spices and seasonings with a cute kitchen towel hanging below. The towel rod is really clever and opens up like a giant safety pin- I assume that one of those long linen rolls might have been used on it but it makes a nifty way to dispense a roll of paper towels this way. Hi. This auction is for a great old cabinet. Probably late 1800's early 1900's. This cupboard has a great patina and is a nice size. Approximately 16 1/2" tall x 12 1/2" W x 7" D. It has one shelf, looks like it had two. On could easily but cut to slide in. I just did not do it. See all the photos. I found this in a barn/barn garage in Pemberton NJ 1830's home. The back board is bowed and the lock doesn't click out all the way over. With the door over, that hasn't been an issue. I still displayed items with the door open. I had the antique curio cabinet all fixed up for my daughter.but she just turned 16 and now does not want antiques. I had a mirror and glass shelves added. So right now if you want to hang it you do so by placing screws through holes in the back of the case. The put the mirror over the back. The bracket for the shelves come out and when replaced hold the mirror in place. This is a really nice all wood and glass cabinet. I would estimate it as circa 1920s to 30s but could be earlier. Measurements are 31" tall. 20" wide, and 7" deep. The lighter wood color is most correct. The dark photos are just the lighting. This will require a huge box and careful packing. I insure all items.

This beautiful cabinet was hand crafted in England of solid mahogany with delicate inlaid satinwood stringing or banding. The door panel is a single wide plank of figured mahogany. Original brass hardware and hinges are intact. The double-beveled mirror is in very good condition ... morewith no cracks or chips with very minor silver loss as would be expected of an item of this age. There is a divided interior for storage and lower drawerof old hand cut, dovetailed construction. There are two old metal brackets on the back for hanging or it could sit on top of a cabinet, chest or table. A wonderful example of the craftsmanship of the era!
