In the bottom of the case is a glass shelf as well, it is not adjustable. There is a short rail on the sides and back of the top. There is also a nice rounded piece of trim across the top front that really shows the grain of the wood. This piece has 4 short bracket style feet. This is antique and will not be perfect however it is in great condition. We do not know the maker or exact date it was made. Measurements are 55 inches tall, 40 3/8 inches side to side and 14 inches front to back. It weighs 135 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. ESTATE FIND George III Bookcase Cabinet china hutch curio From the estate of a Dutch immigrant who brought this with him from Holland in the 1950s you can see the original shipping tags on the back of the cabinet. I am not an expert in antique furniture however I believe this is a George III double door locking glass door cabinet from the late 1700s to the early 1800s. Everything looks original except the pane of glass in the right door. Being 200 years old this piece of furniture is not perfect.The burl type veneer on the columns is cracking. Antique Vtg Miller High Life Beer Mirrored Medicine Curio Cabinet Display Case
This is a very unusual mirrored Miller High life wall-mount metal medicine cabinet(at least that's what it looks like) The mirror has white pin stripes across the top with a red oval in the middle with"Enjoy Life with Miller High Life" inside. And"The Champagne of Bottle Beer" across the bottom of the mirror. The door latch still holds the door tightly closed, and all three shelves inside are strong, sturdy, and perfectly useable. The mirror and cabinet have some damage and wear from age but would be perfect for a man cave or bachelor pad, or for anyone who collects breweriana. The mirror has some silver loss and flaking from where it was adhered to the door, one of the hinges that was once fused in place came loose and was repaired with two screws, and there is some paint loss and rust on both inside and outside surface ... moreof the cabinet, visible in the photos. There are four screw holes on the back of the cabinet for wall mounting, two of which were added and have some sharp edges on the back that could potentially scratch the wall, but the edges could easily be filed smooth. The door is bowed with original wavy glass, the interior with two mirror back panels, and two stationary removable glass shelves. The bottom has an original olive velvet cloth cover. The three legs have a curved front shelf as stretcher. The curio is ornamented with brass mounts and a top gallery. Includes the brass escutcheon and the lock, no key. It measures 66" by 23-3/4" wide by 21" deep at center, the shelves 17-1/2" deep at center. Every glass panel is an individual convex bubble glass. The wood is solid and sturdy. Two of the shelves are fixed giving the cabinet strength. It would probably cost $3000+ to reproduce this today. Here is an old piece. I was told this was from the early 1900's. It is a Heavy bulk piece with the curved front glass and it does have a latch on the front. But not a lock. It is in good shape but does show some age to it. It is mahogany in color. It is approx 59" tall, 17" deep and 49" wide. It is a very heavy piece, the wood shelves inside are also curved. I am not a furniture expert so please ask any specific questions you may have. Beautiful low relief hand carved cabinet with four cubby holes for display items. Please examine each picture with ebays zoom carefully. Very Good condition with normal wear with age. Scuffs and scratches, back left corner has old repair, hard to see or notice unless looking for it. Back corner was smashed some and bent/cracked the corner a little and was repaired sometime ago. There's also flaps on the top of each cubby, on is missing that board/ flap. One could be made if your good with wood. Where the flap mounted on left side there's chip out of the wood where the pin went for the wood flap, noticeable but not to bad at all. I have more pictures ... moreof the damaged ereas but did not have enough spots. Please email us for the pictures if you like. Measures approx. 27 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" tall x 7" deep. Made of a hard heavy wood with pretty grains throughout the cabinet. Has beautiful dark brown finish. The hand carved scenes have a washed bronze finish as seen in the pictures. Amazing piece. Bottom side is unfinished and looks old. Sold as is as found with no warranty's. Will be carefully packed, Bubble wrapped and double boxed with firm foam chunks inbetween the two boxes.
