DESCRIPTION: This is a wonderful Georgian oak and mahogany cross banded bow fronted corner cupboard. It has been made out of solid oak with mahogany cross banding which is a wonderful rich colour and a fantastic patina. Which can only be gained through age. The cupboard would look fantastic in any room you choose to hang it in. The corner cupboard has two bow fronted doors which is complete with it's original lock(which has been photographed separately) and key which is fully working. There is a lovely brass escutcheon to each ... moreof the doors. The doors have lovely mahogany cross banded with lovely shaped detailing to the corners of the doors which sets them off beautifully. The doors open to reveal three shelves. The left door is held in place by a superb original hook. The top is finished off superbly with a nicely shaped cornice and there is a lovely shaped molding to the base. The front to this cupboard is wonderful. From the photographs you can see just how stunning the patina is. DIMENSIONS: The approximate dimensions are: 25.25 inches(measured from corner to corner) 17.25 inches along wall(this is the distance it would come out along the wall measured from the corner) 39.5 inches high. Also the approximate distance between the shelves going from top to bottom is: top 7 inches. 2nd 7.5 inches, 3rd 9 and bottom 12 inches. As can be seen from the above dimensions this corner cupboard is of lovely proportions. AGE: The corner cupboard is GEORGE III and dates to circa 1780/ 1800. Selling a gorgeous antique hanging corner cupboard. Complete with original key and lock. I believe this is walnut. Beautiful boards, all 1/2" thick with decorative cut edges on top, bottom, and on the sides. Cupboard door features a recessed panel with tongue-and-groove construction; brass keyhole cover, lock plate, and hinges; interior shelf gives two levels of storage inside, plus outside storage on the top; holes for wall mount present in each back panel. Decorative details include upper, lower, and side fretwork. Circa mid-to-late 19th century. This cupboard is unmarked and in very good. Pre-owned condition. Antique Pennsylvania Country Federal Corner Cabinet Cupboard Poplar Glass c 1800
Wonderful antique Pennsylvania Country Federal corner cabinet or cupboard. This cabinet is in two pieces with an upper cabinet crowned by a molded cornice and a door with twelve glazed panes. The interior of the upper cabinet has been painted a lovely soft turquoise blue and has four shelves. Each with ridges to allow for upright display of plates, bowls and platters. The lower section of the cabinet features a single drawer with wooden knobs and a diamond-shaped brass key surround. Below that are two paneled wooden doors with brass knobs, enclosing a two-shelf storage area. The apron has been fret carved in a decorative scalloped design. The entire cabinet is made from poplar wood and has a beautiful finish that shows signs of age but is probably not original to the piece. This cupboard likely dates from the early 1800's. Overall this ... morepiece is in good antique condition. However there is a small missing piece of molding near the top. Please examine the pictures provided. Otherwise, the piece has no breaks or repairs, only minimal wear consistent with age and use. The glass looks original and is in excellent condition. A fabulous find is this antique solid quartersawn and straight sawn oak cabinet with handsome designs of inlay on the door and around the drawers. Two of the three doors are false. However, the drawer area encompasses the entire area under the main cabinet and the bottom. The door has a fantastic inlaid shell design. The classic canted corners help display how beautiful the patina is on this old cabinet. The door to the inside is paneled and is chamfered on the inside. There are several shelves. Height to the top = 42" Width across the front = 24 3/4" Depth is 19" in the middle and 20 1/2" on each rear side. Canted corners are 4" each. The inside of the door has a crack that does not extend to the outside. It is 100% secure. The inside top shelf sits and is not secured in, we believe this is correct. All the nails, the hinges, the lock and the 2 hanging hoops are original, we do not have the key. There is slight wear to the wood, you can refer to the pictures. OUTSTANDING! 1800'S RARE EARLY OOAK ANTIQUE FOLK ART PRIMITIVE CORNER CABINET CUPBOARD SIGNED AND DATED* Up for auction is this very unusual corner cabinet. It's old! We're not sure how old but the detailing puts it in the 1800's. Possibly earlier. This is a unique and rare cabinet/ cupboard. It has the original rich, dark black paint and a fantastic patina! On the front on the door, there's a painting of a vase of flowers. Only the flowers are very visible now as the vase has faded over the years and now you can just see the outline of the paint. The writing above the flowers says"Fanosi Josef Kesri" It's hard to read the rest but we think it says"tet* 869 BC" We are fairly certain this mean British Columbia. It might be 1869, maybe it's 869! Either way, it's still old! and fabulous! It ... morehas scalloped edge trim all the way around the cabinet. The hardware on the door is old and the bottom one may have been replaced at one point. There's a bent over nail to hold the door shut and this has rubbed off the paint in that spot over the years. The door is bowed out slightly as you can see in the picture of it laying on its side. To close the door you have to lift up on it a little bit. The drawer below the door is old and nicely dovetail mortised. Big. Primitive dovetails, just the way we like to see them. The drawer slides in an out on a little board that was likely added later to help it from flopping around. The drawer pull is a simple wood element and this may have had a finial on it at one point. The drawer requires a little wigglin' to get it to set in there also. But, when the door and the drawer are all set in, it looks amazing! The back two sides are old thick wood. And the cabinet is heavy as a result. Weighing a good 34 lbs. There are holes in the back wood, likely where they hung the cabinet from. It measures 33.5" H x 27.5" W x 14.25" D(middle) and 20.25" down each back side against the wall. This is a fantastic early piece and

Antique pine corner cupboard blind door 19th century narrow country primitive
A 19th century pine corner cupboard in a primitive country style. The finish is very worn and dry but not original… it looks like it was painted at one time and then stripped. The hardware has also been replaced; the lock plates on the back of both doors are missing but the doors do close and stay shut. It has a single door on top and a single door on the bottom. And it breaks down into two pieces for transport. The piece measures approximately 87" tall, 38" wide, and 21" deep- a nice narrow size. There is some later replaced wood on the back of the piece which visible in the photos. It is a well worn piece that has a nice country look… the molding at the top is a nice feature. The pediment at the top has a crown molding and carved festoons. There are 2 glass doors below. The center has an open shelf backed with mirrors. There is a drawer that pivots below the open area. The bottom has 2 cabinet doors with raised panels and carved embellishments. It measure 88.5 inches tall by 42.5 wide overall. Each side of the back is 32 inches wide. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a few missing moldings and some light cracks. I am delighted to offer for your consideration. This antique corner cabinet. This piece dates roughly around 1840-70's. In the classic and lovely Empire style. Wonderful curved doors and arched wood detailing. Ones of this age and size and very rare and highly collectible! It stands 18 inches tall. From tip to tip at the widest point it is 17 1/4 inches. The two back panels that go against the wall are 12 inches wide. The top has a nice strip of inlay wood. It has it's original hardware but no key for the lock. The overall condition is very good and it is ready to enjoy. The piece appears to may have been painted at some point. Slight remnants visible. The doors are not flush and a space is present as seen. LG Kentucky Primitive style Solid Walnut Corner Cabinet Cupboard 4 Doors Antique
Normal 0 I had this lovely huge piece of furniture made for me when I was in Kentucky in 1984. I commissioned a retired woodworker who was about 70+ years old at the time and he lived near Clinton. KY.for the life of me, I can't remember his name but his work is some of the the best wood craftsmanship I have ever seen. I brought him a picture in Country Living magazine of a corner cabinet that I wanted and he made it to the exact specs. I was more than thrilled to see it when he finished. I moved to New Mexico in 1993 and this has been with me every since. I am downsizing and really have to have this beautiful cabinet sold as it is no longer a piece that I need. It is large and heavy and takes 2-3 men to move it. The doors. Drawer and top(dental work carving top) can be removed. The front and partial sides are made of solid walnut. Thick ... moregrade. It will hold a large TV.that is what I had it made for years ago when the TV's had a"bubble back" The far back sides which are out of view are made of Walnut thick grade plywood. This cabinet is still in remarkable condition even after being in the New Mexico dry weather all these years. The only things I should point out are minor but nonetheless I want to inform you. I drilled a hole(about 1 inch) in the far back middle and lower to accept the tv plug(you can see the holes in the pictures) and also at the rear of the top shelf there is a small hole drilled so that I could connect the tv to the VHS player. Also. The bottom side piece of walnut molding came off and I screwed it back in although there are no visible screw holes anywhere in this cabinet. The doors(lower and upper) have about a 1/4" gap of space between them. It may have been like this all along and you can probably decrease that space by adjusting the hinges. It's certainly nothing detracting but I just want you to know all that I see with the cabinet. THIS CABINET WILL NEVER BE LISTED AT A LOWER PRICE.

A 19th century cherry corner cupboard with glass pane doors. The measurements are approximately 85.5" tall and 49.5" wide across the front. You should plan on it taking up about 32.5" of wall space from the corner out along the wall on each side. This corner cupboard is a ONE piece construction(it does not break down into two pieces) There are grooves near the back of each shelf in which to set items for display such as plates/platters/chargers. There is some damage to one pane of glass- it is the lowest pane on the right door(see photo) This is an antique piece of furniture. So there are some nicks, dings, repairs, and imperfections which are noticeable upon close inspection. We believe it may be a Kentucky piece and we believe the surface to have been refinished at some point.
