I really dont know if this is a real stone or just nice old pretty glass. The brooch is a very old very early brooch which is all open backed& not cleaned so sorry have not had the time. I have washed over the brooch slightly because it was so- dusty from age but i feel this is a nice brooch which will benifit from a nice clean and polish. The pin on the back is fine and the original pin nice and strong and well made like the rest of the brooch. The stone in the centre might just be glass but it is claw set with four lots of double claws. There is a slight scuff mark on the stone but not to bad at all for a brooch of 100 ... moreor so years old. Please see all photos and please judge for your self. Antique Cherry Backbar This large back bar was used in either a drugstore or bar. And dates to the 1920's or 30's. It has beautiful stained glass on the top cabinet doors as well as above and on three sides of the top cabinets. All the hardware on the doors is brass; the mirror has been replaced and is like new. The counter top is the original marble. The woodwork on the bar is in excellent condition. A piece of one of the stained glass inserts is cracked in the upper left door. This glass was replaced when we originally purchased the back bar and most likely can easily be found. Replaced again or glued together. The marble top has been cracked and repaired, but the weight of the top has caused a crack to appear again. This piece has been in our homes for 35 years. ANTIQUE HANDCRAFTED OAK DRY SINK BAR CABINET CUPBOARD WITH MARBLE TOP
This dry sink has been in the family for at least three generations. It's solid wood- oak I believe- with a red-brown marble top. It has seen some use and has a few scratched spots(see photos) but is a really nice serviceable piece of furniture; sort of a small gem. I've tried to capture it's character in the attached photos. Features: White oak(I'm pretty sure) construction« Maple( inlays on the drawer fronts« All original hardware. Including the porcelain casters« Dovetail joints on the drawers« Original red-brown marble top. I've been in the marble business for 30 years and don't recognize the stone; I'm guessing it's from an old eastern quarry. 30" wide x 16" deep x 38-1/2" tall to top of backsplash I can find no identification from the manufacturer but the piece is obviously ... morehandmade. While the front and sides are nicely finished. The bottoms of the drawers and the back panels are rough sawn. There are markings on the bottom of the large drawer which say"J.M.T. Macon City Mo, perhaps indicating a customer name as though the piece was being shipped to them. These are similar to the markings on furniture in the steamboat Arabia museum here in Kansas City, all of which dates from the 1850's. While I do sell a variety of items on eBay. I’m not an antiques or collectibles dealer. This is an item from my mom’s estate that we’ve decided to part with. 4 ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BAR PINS - 1 W/ GOLD FRONT, 1 ENAMEL NEEDING TLC, NICE LOT
Up for auction is a lot of four(4) different ca. 1900 Victorian period bar pins. These are so pretty worn at the throat. They would also work well on a larger antique doll! You are bidding on the following Victorian bar pins, described in the order they are shown in the photo looking from top to bottom: Enamel work on goldtone metal. This has a pierced center portion that looks like a bow, there is one single prong-set paste stone set at the center of the bow, it has an open c-clasp closure and measures approximately 2-1/4" in length. This is unsigned, it needs some TLC, but would be well worth time time, money and effort it would take to return it to it's original beauty! There are two losses to the aquamarine blue enamel work on the two ends of the pin and another teeny enamel loss to the white portion of one of the bow ends. This one is signed"Gold Front" Which means the front facing of the piece is gold, it tested as being 14K. It's beautifully engraved with an open c-clasp closure. This measures 2-1/2" in length. This one is in very good condition, the back shows some light wear but the front gold portion is in very good shape. The closure functions perfectly, this is a gorgeous piece! This is a plain but very pretty bar pin! It was most likely meant to be engraved with the wearer's name. Or some sentiment, but was never engraved, so this would be nice to have engraved today and give as a gift to someone special! It measures 2-1/2" in length x 1/2" wide at it's widest point at the center of the piece. It also has an open-c clasp closure. It's in very good condition, it shows some light usage wear but they are barely worth mentioning, there's a teeny safety pin mark on the front and some light rubs, it's not mint but it's in wonderful shape!

ITEM DESCRIPTION: A small mixed lot of Victorian to Art deco aged items. Some I have no clue what they are but they were interesting enough to salvage. Bakers dozen of items(13 in all) There is a small greek god carved shell cameo 7/8 inches long. A silver tone- unmarked but I believe it is probably 800 silver(I'm out of testing solution) A pietra dura unset piece- about 1 3/16 x 7/8. A pretty bar pin blue enamel and glass paste rhinestones- about 2 3/8 inches long with a c-clasp. A mourning brooch with room for a photo and or hair or other keepsake- I think this has been painted at some time- not by me 2 1/8 x 7/8. I included this because I thought the clasp on the back was quite unique) A neat damascene style bar pin with c clasp- and light metal wear to the back- 2/7/8 inches long the engraving is beautiful- the pin a bit loose but ... morein tact. A small Plainville Stock company double wishbone pin- light gold loss and tarnish. A round wood set in brass with rhinestones pin. Antique 19C CARVED WOOD PUB BAR BARMAID PRIMITIVE FIGURINE TRADE SIGN CHALICE
Up for auction is an antique hand carved bar/pub wooden trade sign figurine dating from the 19th Century(possibly earlier) I purchased this item from along time antique collection of fine American& European antiques. I do not know the history of this item. I strongly believe is is some sort of a trade sign or inner part of a bar. Appears to be European to me. If you have any ideas or can help me identify it. I would appreciate and help. The figurine is of a barmaid/wench holding a chalice. The carving is in fine detail from her dress, to the chalice, her face and heart shaped necklace. She is made of a hard heavy wood. Weight of the item is 12 pounds unpacked and measures approx. 26 1/2 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide at the base. Her right arm has an old repair with a screw as seen in the photos. The flathead screw is not original ... moreto the piece(see last photo) On the base there are a couple old holes and I don't think they are original to the piece. The chalice has a flat surface that can hold a beer or drink. It measures 2 3/4" across. Overall condition is very nice for its age. Hand carved with no other repairs, no damage cracks, a couple natural wood splits that are very minor and no large chips. This is a museum quality unique piece and is a must for any collector. Rare carved wood figurine sign and are a must for any collector. Found at a recent 95 year estate of along time antique collector/dealer. The two small doors can swing open with a shelf directly in front of it to store your liquor bottles. The doors have lots of built in compartments for glasses, and tiny bottles. This is solid wood with some scratches and scuffs(some deeper than others) which may easily come out with refinishing. The cabinet was taped shut for moving purposes, and left sitting in storage for a long time. There It is in very sturdy and in good vintage condition. Antique Vintage RUBY Cased CUT TO CLEAR Bar Decanter & 8 Bar Glasses Hand Blown
Here is a lovely antique vintage ruby cranberry cased hand blown glass cut-to-clear decanter and 8 matching shot glasses. The decanter measures 9-1/2" high by 4" wide. The glasses measure 2-3/4" high with a 1-1/4" diameter lip. All pieces are in excellent used condition with no chips or cracks. Each glass is slightly different in thickness and slight variation in size. Typically seen in hand blown glassware. The interior of the bottle neck is ground as well as the stopper base. I find one small sliver chip on the base of the stopper and could be from the grinding from the making. The bases of the decanter and glasses are polished pontils. A wonderful addition to your home! It is in fairly good condition for it's age, generalized crazing white a small chip on one corner, 3/8" chip on one edge, a ding on another edge and a small ding on another corner, don't think it has seen water.
