Now featuring a face-lift ... morewith my hand painting rendition of an old Paris post card. This stool was fun to paint, and I sure hope you enjoy viewing it! Oodles of detail involved! After sanding and priming. I painted the background of the legs and the top in a strong pink color. The spindles and the edge of the top were painted with"lavender frost, a lovely color with just a hint of lavender in it. Then the fun began! I painted a detailed border of prim dots to resemble antique lace. In the center of the lace I painted a vintage-looking Parisian postal card. Finishing off the painting are my signature cabbage roses in the corner. Signed by me, and then sealed several times with a high-gloss sealant to offer you years of beauty and use. This stool is old. It has a slight wobble to it. But it's still plenty sturdy. I have sat and stood on this, and it held me just fine. Through the years there was some repair work done to the stool(I believe the stool is hand-made) as there is some glue residue down a leg or two. I couldn't sand the residue off, so what the heck, I just painted right over it. This just adds, I feel, to the vintage charm of this piece! No miniature here.the stool measures a full 17-3/4 inches high. The top is 1 foot squared. The legs"flare" out a little bit at the bottom. And they are 11-1/2 inches deep, front to back, and their widest point. What a wonderfully unique way to display a potted plant in your front foyer or outside on your patio! Give your little Granddaughter her own special place to sit when she comes to visit you by letting her rest upon this! You could even display a cherished knicknack on this enclosed under a ball jar. However you decide to display it(or actually USE it to reach those pesky high-up items) It's sure to draw compliments! I only washed them off. I constructed the benches using 4X4's and 2X6's. Everything is assembled with 3 1/2" lag bolts and 3 1/2" screws. The tailgate is screwed into the wood. UP FOR CONSIDERATION: Vintage Camel Saddle Cushion is Green Leather with Egyptian Scenery on the top. Does have some cracking and rubbing from use. I see no tears or rips in the leather. Seat has original stuffing. Underside of Saddle does need repair, needs to be rethreaded to seal in the stuffing, grommets are all in place however they do have some rust. Otherwise leather could use a gentle cleaning. Leather is soft, could use some conditioning. Wooden Seat is in Good Condition. Has original Rawhide? bindings which are stiff however they don't appear to be brittle or cracking. No cracks in the wood. Just needs cleaning. The bench surface is constructed of 3 pieces all connected like a jigsaw puzzle. Condition is used but rather good. Very minimal seam separation between the surface pieces. This early 1927 pew is a beautiful piece of church history. The wood is solid oak. This pew or"deacon's bench" has a high back. The ends have a beautiful design(see pictures) This is a 5.5' pew- actual measurement outside to outside is 67" It is 42" tall. This pew sits flat on the floor- not slanted like some that where in churches with a sloped floor. These pews are very heavy since each end weighs 43 lbs. plus the weight of the bench. What an interesting if slightly imperfect piece of vintage Santa Fe or Spanish Colonial style furniture. Many possibilities here. the frame is very light weight. So uncertain if you could actually switch out the spring for a bench? But the cushions definitely need to be replaced and/ or recovered. are worn and dusty. but what a lot of potential with various fabrics. Marked Mexico on inner part of frame and there are some inner dings/ bites to the wood- likely from spring being taken in and out? Also some paint marks and some dings to finish, esp lower front. It’s painted with a black paint and it has two pieces that feed into each other and can be pulled apart slightly to make it longer. Just a really nice piece with nice tapered pencil legs and the piece is in excellent condition. Measures about 48" long at the shortest and then expands to 60" 18" deep and 16" tall. It easily supports my girlfriend and I without creaking. The metal and wood have patina from head to toe and it really looks good on it. The desk has been mounted to a pair of wood strips to make it easily movable and very stable. The desk is 25 inches at its tallest and the seat is 13 inches from the floor. VINTAGE ANTIQUE WOOD UPHOLTERED stool /bench in Red bandana fabric-boys room
I hope you find this stool as cute as I did. It is an old stool frame that has been reupholstered in a newer fabric. I am not sure exactly how old it is but I like that it has stretchers between all the legs. The stool is fairly light so the wood must be a light wood. I have already packed it up but it is close to 19" long. 14" wide, and 14" tall. The fabric is a red bandana style fabric and I thought it would make a good stool for a boy's room or a western theme. The fabric has a bottom piece attached with velcro that hides the underneath of the stool. It could also be a cute side table with a tray sitting on it. The bottom of the feet show wear and give some idea to the age. The fabric is in good condition with no tears or stains. The wood legs have scratches and scrapes. Please email with any questions.

Up for auction is a sewing bench off a Singer sewing machine table. The women I bought this off of said her mother hand sewn the cover so it was made in the mid 1900's. The chair is from a 1947 Singer 201-2 sewing machine table. So it was made around the 1940's. The wood has a paint mark and some other scuffs of it. Fabric cover is in excellent condition. Chair measures 17" wide + 14 7/8" wide + 18" tall. Weighs 9 pounds.
