Vintage Heavy& Sturdy Steel Stool The metal on this great stool ha s a lovely aged patina. It is olive green with some rust. And one leg has a splash of some brighter green. The seat is newer, and it is black with some wear on the edges which reveals a beige undercoat. This is an extremely sturdy stool- the steel is quite heavy with the piece weighing about 17 pounds. The stool is technically adjustable. Although I am not selling it as such because once the top is raised, the leg parts do not align to be able to reattach the bolts and nuts. Fantastic vintage industrial stool. Metal tube legs held together by a circular stretcher. Round wooden seat swivels and has an adjustable mechanism. But no longer goes above the lowest height. The entire piece is mounted on casters. There is some slight separation on the seat, but it is solid. Original green finish. No maker's mark. Most likely dates from the mid 1900's. This piece has a great industrial look. But has obviously been well used. There is significant wear to the seat and light chipping and light rust to surface. Otherwise the piece is in great condition. The stool measures 14" across the seat and 19.5" across the widest point. It stands 29" tall. Antique Machine Age Industrial Drafting Architect Wood & Cast Iron Swivel Stool
Here we have a really great late 1800s antique drafting table stool that is wood and cast iron. As you can see from photo 9 one leg has a crack in it and in photo 10 you can see an example of some cracking to the bent wood foot rest. If you look at photo 7 you will notice that only 3 of the 4 screw are the original ones but this stool is very sturdy when lowered like shown in photo 2. This stool also raises as shown in photo 5 but the seat becomes wobbly the higher that you go but the base is very solid. When at it's lowest this stool is about 30 inches tall. The foot rest is about 14 inches in diameter and the seat is about 14 1/2 inches in diameter. This item will ship FedEx ground so it can not be sent to PO Boxes. 3 Antique Machine Age Industrial Stool Seats Chairs Back Rests Wood Metal UHL ?
Here we have a 3 antique industrial stool seats. I don't have the legs or base to these. I wish I did because they have a great look to them. I purchased them in the hopes of finding a base or building one for them but time has stretched on and I have yet to do so hence I have decided to let someone else make a project out of them. My original design was to make them into a 3 seat bench or couch with a cool industrial look. As sitting on the floor shown in the photos the backs come up about 16 1/2 inches and the seats are about 14 inches by 15 inches except for the all wooden one that is about 14 x 13.5. As you can see these have some abuse from being in the industrial world but that just adds to their great look. This antique Industrial/Steampunk stool is in EX. condition for it's age. The bent wood legs are in EX. condition with just a couple of very tight age cracks& 1 of the legs is a little chippy on on the bottom. This is a very solid stool weighing 17 lbs. Adjustable from 32" to 37" T he seat has been replaced& is 1 5/8" solid wood. I don't see any mfg. name on it. The cast iron parts appear to have been repainted the wood may have been refinished. There are square nails holding the cross pieces to the legs as shown in pic#8. The guy I got this from told me that this stool belonged to his Grandfather. Who was a plumber by trade. Vintage Wood& Cast Iron Stool This great old stool came from one of the old tanneries in Milwaukee. It likely dates from the mid to late 1800's from what we know about the age of buildings in the area that it came from. It has the unmatchable patina of a well-aged piece. With loads of character to boot! Each of the leg bottoms have some degree of chipping on the outer corners, and a bit of the screw threads for the seat adjustment has broken loose. At its lowest setting, it measures 27" high. The stool adjusts upward several inches by turning the adjustment wheel underneath the seat. All of the joints are tight. This all wood Sit-Rite chair has great charm and warmth. The surface is worn smooth and has a nice patina of age. The bottom of the seat is stamped"SIT-RITE EDWARD L. KOENIG MFG. CHICAGO. ILL" in green ink. There are bolts for adjusting the back protrusion, back height, and seat height. The seat can be adjusted between 17 1/4 in. 27 1/4 in. in 1 in. increments. The chair has a 13 ¼ in. x 15 3/4 in. foot print. There is an old crack on the right side of the seat that was repaired with glue and a mending plate. It shows no weakening and does not affect the integrity of the stool. There are 4 small ¼” diameter shallow holes and some imperfection in the wood. Vintage Industrial Adjustable Drafting Oak Wood & Cast Iron Swivel Stool
Up for bidding is this gorgeous steampunk industrial red drafting/ piano stool. This would make a great barstool in either an industrial modern or country kitchen. It has chippy red paint. The seat is wood and through the red chips it reveals a sage green underneath. The legs are cast iron at the top and wood at the bottom. It adjusts from 20" to 25" There is a small cut in the rim of the seat(see photo) which tells part of it's story that someone was using it as a saw horse. The cross bar mount under the seat is missing 2 of its screws(easily replaceable) I tried taking pictures of it from every angle possible. If you need any close-ups of anything or have any questions. Vintage Industrial Drafting Stool Adjustable Drafting Chair Metal Wood
This is a vintage industrial metal and wood. Office/drafting stool/chair. It is a swivel chair with adjustments for changing the position of the back rest. While the chair itself raises and lowers on the spindle, I am not sure how to permanently adjust as I see no locking mechanism. I see no manufacturer information on the chair, only a sticker that says"twice a year grease swivel and spindle bearings" The seat is about 16" wide x 14 1/2" deep. There is a strip of the wood top missing and age appropriate wear on the rest of the chair. When the chair is in the highest position, the seat is approximately 32" high, and when it is in the lowest postition the seat is about 26" high. The backrest on the stool can be adjusted with a wing nut setup. This item, when boxed, weighs about 25 lbs. and will be disassembled(hopefully ... morein two pieces) when shipped to keep the cost of shipping reasonable. I can send additional photos if requested. Antique Uhl Toledo Industrial Drafting Machinist Stool/Chair Tall w Wood Seat
For sale is a great vintage Toledo stool. It has a nice green and rusty patina. The seat raises from 27 1/4" to 31 3/4" The back height is 42" at the low setting. The spring on the lever to raise and lower the seat has been replaced and is not as rigid as the older spring. The wood on the seat and back has the normal wear scratches and discoloration. We have for sale a Vintage Industrial Machine Age Adjustable Drafting Oak Wood Cane Seat Swivel Stool. The seat adjusts from 17 inches up to 22 inches. It has a round cane seat. Stretched just slightly but in great condition(no breaks) The stool is in very nice condition, there are a couple splits in the small round circle under the legs(See Photos) These splits do not hurt the integrity of this stool. I added some additional photos to the end of this auction showing a couple additional flaws such as a wood plug missing on one leg, some small holes around the edge of the seat, and a scape on one of the feet. Most of these flaws are easily fixable but to me also add charm and a vintage look to the stool. Please check all the photos and decide for yourself.
