These WAAY cool footstools I've had about 20 years. I bought them in an antique shop. I find no markings. But have never seen any more in my travels. Each 1/3 has 4 legs, wooden bottoms& are surprisingly heavy/sturdy. The color strikes me as a pale peach. They fit together to make a circle.and that measures about 39 inches. They are about 14' tall. Legs seem original blonde with brass or gold tips. Could probably make a coffee table by putting glass on the top. Only tiniest bit of tag left on bottom(shown last pic) They are in the condition I found them. Which I believe anyone would consider excellent for their age. I could attempt to ship them-with some guidance.and of course, the buyer would pay& insure. No international buyers or buyers w/o positive feedback. Pair JEANSELME Antique FRENCH COUNTRY STOOLS Ottoman Bench Chic Shabby Cottage with Designer Fabric Jeanselme- Circa 1834 to 1930 Jeanselme- firm was founded in 1834 and within 10 years had acquired the renowned furniture firm of Jacob-Desmalter. By the middle of the century. Jeanselme had become one of the most important cabinetmakers in Paris as well as Fournisseur du Mobilier de la Couronne(Furnisher to the Crown) under Louis-Philippe. The firm continued up until 1930. These Beautiful stools are all wood. Painted off-white, with designer fabric. Decorative nails, and Jute Webbing. The stools do have some slight wear with scratches and two small stains on the fabric of the first chair. The second chair has slight fading to the colors of the fabric but is almost unnoticable with the same light scratches on the wood. One Stool has a crack ... moreon the bottom portion of the frame and is not noticeable. The fine details of the chairs may be seen from the full view pictures disclosed above. These extraordinary pair of stools are in excellent Antique condition and will look lovely in any home. Measurements:18" W x 18" L x 19.5" H. Antique French Louis XVI Style Gold Stools / Ottomans in Silk ~~STUNNING
Antique French Louis XVI Style Gold Stools/ Ottomans Creamy White Silk Fabric. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING This beautiful pair of stools come from an estate in Pasadena. California. The stools are firm. But comfortable to sit on, rest your feet, or even your serving tray with drinks. They are gorgeous accents in a room that create a"rich" look to the room. They measure 19 1/2" square and sit 17" high. The fabric has been refurbished in a creamy white silk and matching colored gemp where the fabric meets the wood frame. The only restoration to these strolls has been to the fabric. The wood is a distressed(because of age is my guess)gold with areas of a what looks like turquoise(I think) However, the color only appears gold unless you put your eyes within a couple inches of the paint. But, I believe this is the original way it was ... morefinished years ago. I do have a small amount of the fabric left if the buyer would like it. I was told by the daughter of the estate owners that her mother purchased them used in the 40's, but I can't confirm. Anyway. If for any reason, you purchase them and are not thrilled with them, I will gladly accept their return. We will be listing some beautiful sterling flatware. Nice Pair Hollywood Regency Button Tufted Antique Ottomans Foot Stools
For your consideration is this pair of antique foot stools. They feature button tufted upholstery that appears original and look to be made of mahogany wood. They have a unique curved design with splayed legs and a bulls eye trim detail. They measure 22" long. 14" wide and 14" tall at their tallest point. My guess is they date to the 1930's or 40's. They remain in very nice structurally sound original condition with some staining and soiling to the bottoms of the feet. This is strictly cosmetic and has not effected the wood in any way.
