Vanity Beach/ Seat/ Stool Solid Wood Splayed legs with lovely turned designs. It has a curved top\ Saddle Seat that has been recovered with a beautiful gold and wine fabric. It is well made and very sturdy. Suitable for daily use as a vanity bench seat are stool. The wood has never been refinished. And appears to be in its original condition it has some paint specks and scratches worn wood corners in places and normal wear for its age. Condition: This is an Antique piece, and as such it does have signs of wear. There is scratched off finish and chips that serve to further illustrate the true antique nature of the piece. Beautiful Antique Church Pew Solid 1890's Wood Vintage Bench Deacon Bench
These late 1890's church pews are a beautiful piece of church history. up to 19 available) These primitive pews or"deacon's bench" are walnut and ash Most of these pews can be made into a bench up to 4' long. However. I may be able to make 3-4 of them up to 6' long. The ends have a nice design that appears to have been added in the early 1900's. see pictures) T he photo is of the one pew that I have cut to length and re-installed the end. It is 4' long. Each pew will have its own character marks as they are in original condition. I have not refinished them. Only cleaned them and use Old English on them. These pews sit flat on the floor- not slanted like some from churches with a sloped floor. This would make an excellent Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary gift. Adrian Pearsall Style bench set of two. Slat Bench 29.75" long. 19" wide, 14.5" tall Finished with triple Shellac so can be used outdoors Strong. Holds weight, better built than almost any other MCM benches. These benches are often attributed to Adrian Pearsall largely because of the bowed sides being identical to his sofas. However it is often incorrectly stated they are made of walnut- they were originally stained and dark lacquer was used to get them to look like Walnut but it is a birch or oak- not walnut. We do not know if they were produced by Adrian Pearsall but it would seem unlikely given that they are not walnut. Possibly they were imported by Raymor. Walnut is not that strong compared to other woods. They are desired because not only do they look good. They are some of the strongest Mid century Eames era benches ... moreever made. Beveled edges to the slats coupled with angled edges on all slats with a good thickness to the wood and ample used of screws to the undersides. These were custom finished to have a quasi-patched and glazed undertone and then completed in multiple layers of shellac. These benches can be used indoors or outdoors and are resistant to humidity and water. A great design. Vintage Antique Inlaid Wood Dollhouse Bear Doll Miniature Stand Bench
This is an antique wood doll bench. It features a starburst and diamonds inlaid wood design. This bench is 14 1/2" long. 5 15/16" wide, and 5" tall. This bench does have some nicks and scratches to the wood. One of the legs is also loose. it isn't going fall off. But it isn't tight like the other. At some point in the past the legs were reinforced with small pieces wood along the inside, see photos. There is also very old damage and a repair along one of the front pieces on one side of the bench. see photos There is also a ring visible on the top of the bench.
