For sale we have a very pretty antique foot stool that measures 15 1/2 inches wide. 11 1/2 inches deep and is 9 1/2 inches high. The stool is cushioned and has a reddish burgandy slightly shiny fabric on it. This was recovered at some point. I do not know the exact age of this. To me it seems like the 1940's but I don't really know. The structure is great, no problems, as well as the fabric. The one leg is about 1/8 inch to short so I'm including some cork floor protectors so if you want to use them you can. You can double up on the one leg so the stool sits flat on the floor. You can cut them to size. The wood has a few scratches but nothing major. You can see on the bottom a staple that held a tag, a tiny piece of the tag is still there. We are pleased to offer to the market this fabulous mid century work bench. This was an industrial factory bench and has a wonderful look for a modern design kitchen with an industrial design flair. The bench has steel legs and a wood slab that is held on with large rivets. The entire piece has a length of 66 7/8" and a depth of 19.75" It has a height of 30.75" The slab on top measures 2.5" thick. There are two drawers underneath the top that slide completely underneath. The top of this could either be sanded down or cover with a coat of poly to retain the original patina. There are age appropriate scratches. Dings, and divets on this piece as well as staining on the top. There are some light scratches and some very light surface rust on the legs as well. Fantastic detail on this hand carved camel bench/ stool with leather seat. The seat has a picture of a man with a Captain's hat with a donkey. The camel itself is wonderfully carved including the legs and hooves. The one picture shows a piece of tape under the seat but the tape has since been removed(not sure why it was there to begin with) Both the bench and the seat show signs of age but overall the bench is still in very good condition. The seat shows wear from both use and age. So please view all pictures and do not hesitate to ask me any questions. VINTAGE FRENCH ITALIAN REGENCY BLUE GOLD WOOD FLORENTINE BENCH STAND TABLE
BEAUTIFUL! We are pleased to offer this lovely. Vintage(1960s) wood, Florentine, petite bench, plant or display stand. The bench is a combination of gold with French blue(the blue sections have a lightly black splatter finish) with brown legs. The table top is a wood composite board(Florentine but not the plastic variety) while the frame, legs and moldings are wood. The legs have a brown painted finish with golden brown graining. The table has beautiful and intricate moldings. The top of the skirt has a perimeter of petite bellflowers. The lower section of the skirt has larger flowers around the perimeter. The skirt has a concave(curves inward) profile. There are 3 large, carved moldings on the front side of the table, one on each corner and one in the center. The moldings are of acanthus fleur de lis. They are thick and dimensional. The ... moreback side of the bench is not skirted and does not have any moldings. The bench/table is designed to fit against a wall or piece of furniture. This is a beautiful and unique Florentine piece. There are no manufacturer's marks or stickers. It is in very good condition with only minor evidence of age or use. There are very faint scuffs at the legs but these are not distracting and can be easily resolved. The bench measures 32" wide and 13" deep(front to back) It has a low profile and measures 14" tall. I inherited it from my mother who passed away last year at almost 100. She always said it was well over 100 years old when her family got it in 1890. The smooth finish. This auction is for a Berkey and Gay bench or stool. I don't know much about it. I purchased it at an estate sale on the wealthy Sanibel Island which is near my home. I can see that it has been painted black and has a very nice look to it. But I can see a bit of the original color on the back leg and I was like WHY did someone paint this. Either way, it does look nice, it's in good condition. You can sit on it. I see nothing wrong physically with it. It measures 24" long, 14" wide and 17.5" tall. Nice. This is a great piece to add to a collection. The Berkey and Gay Furniture Company has been in business since the 1800's and has very exclusive furniture that goes up in value not down. You Are bidding on a Vintage 53" Long Oak Wood and Red Vinyl Church Kneeling/ Praying Bench. It is approx. 5" tall. Nice older Prayer Bench. I was told is from a remodeled Church in Atlanta, GA. It appears as if the front of the legs were attached to the pew that was in front of it, but that is just a guess.
